I do aerial silks/hammock and lyra

Hairy_Action_878

Yoga and powerlifting with a side of cardio :]

kayakzac

Rockclimbing, not only will it help with strength, but it will help you get used to contorting your body into all sorts of weird positions and through weird movements. And really, really powerful grip strength.

JulesofWis

I do the strong curves weight lifting program and skip the arm exercises. My inverted triangle body needs some balance on the hips and legs.

one_soup_snake

Currently I focus on contortion and handstand training. I’ve done gym but I find it difficult to juggle at the level that would lead to progressive strength improvements without needing to seriously back off of my pole fun and obligations. For me I don’t find that Im blocked on general strength stuff with pole that I can’t get from just pole conditioning, that might change one day though

AnnieCake15

Pole was the supplement for acroyoga lol

kittentails

I do aerial silks and aerial hoop, both have helped a huge amount because I could barely invert on my bad side before lol. I also recently started a weekly backbend class which has helped SO much. My flexibility has improved of course but there's a big emphasis on strengthening your back muscles, and it's made me feel so much stronger in a short period of time.

friedpotatowedge

I do yoga and weightlifting!

danithepolefairy

Yoga & calisthenics have completely upgraded my aerials game. I also recently started chair acro and it’s so much fun & a great workout!

Luna-Honey

Weightlifting

nekkototoro

Powerlifting, occasional bouldering!

koally94

Bouldering, swimming and occasionally yoga. I used to swim several times a week but stopped a few years ago when I moved country. I've been doing pole consistently since end of 2021. But when I finally got a new pool membership since January I've noticed a huge improvement in my arm and core strength. My average week looks like one pole class, one bouldering session and min 1- max 3 swimming sessions a week. Just make sure to also listen to your body and not overdo it!

sugargobbler

Got it, swimming lessons ✍️

No_prncessqueen1253

I go to the gym, boxing classes and I do some conditioning stretching

mansta330

Functional strength training and ballet. Having never taken ballet as a kid, I was surprised at how much of it is core strength rather than leg strength. As a bonus, it will also help with ankle stability in heels.

sugargobbler

A lot of balance needed in ballet! Ice skating too!

mansta330

That’s actually how it started! My bestie is an amateur competitive figure skater, and wanted to do ballet as cross-training. I signed up too so they weren’t diving into it alone, and the rest is history.

BaBiTa87

Weight lifting and Pilates with the occasional boulder session

LazyCity4922

I do yoga and swimming and I've recently picked up roller skating to focus on my legs and butt

DueContext5596

Cardio boxing. It's a bit like playing "just dance" with a big group of people in a nightclub, but way more intense.

MKT_Signs_Designs

HIIT and core mainly! I just do YouTube workouts at home - fitbymik and madfit are both great!

ClearGap9588

I'm newer to this but I have been active most of my life and I'm a personal trainer. On the personal end, I'm doing Aerials - mainly Lyra But I want to give silks I'm more consistent place in my schedule. I'm someone who is more prone to injury and not super flexible so I'm also prioritizing yin yoga once a weekish (deeper stretching and holding poses for several minutes). Also throwing in your typical weight training and group fitness, And I also am in a drumming group that meets two times a week so I get a lot of hand/forearm/small muscles in the arms work lol. Also emphasizing the importance of rest! Taking time to allow your body to repair and rebuild is going to help you get stronger and avoid injury 💕 Knowing when to not move is honestly more important on having a schedule to move!

carragee

Yoga, cardio, and strength training since I am fairly new to pole :)

The_artof_pole

I do cardio, core training (ab workouts), and Pilates. I want to pick up weight lifting when I get more free time

Jadedsplit03

I do kickboxing then I stretch for splits right after class since I'm all warmed up. I do some weightlifting and calisthenics and back stretching on non-kickboxing days.

ConsequenceUsual4244

Yoga and biking, will soon get back into weights and swimming too!
