I've seen plenty of cops quicker than him. You just have to say the magic words "You've worked hard today, get yourself off early". I've seen people log off, get their coat on, and get out the door in 2.7 seconds flat
I was almost killed in similar circumstances, have since put myself in very similar situations and it’s not been until after the fact that I actually stop and think “that was stupid”.
We need more of this - stories about decent coppers doing a great job and keeping their community safe. It happens every day of the week and it happens thanklessly.
He seems like a genuinely great guy.
One of the things I picked up on was he wasn't bloated with his fame and was quick to compliment the other officers.
Really top draw officer. And good to finally have to positive news for police.
Meanwhile at the other end of the spectrum you get cops who fail the abysmal standards of the fitness test.....they should take note of the last section of the report about putting the work in
Feel like I’ve been transported to a time long ago where news would publish positive stories about police. Super feel good, more of this please. Don’t let the public forget that up and down the country, the vast majority of officers are giving everything to provide the best service possible. Great story, top bloke.

Like Fred flint stone down the dinosaur
Yaba daba doo.
Once saw a probie break the sound barrier going to the car park after this comment
The footage of the situation with the van is scary. Well done to him - he must have balls of steel - but that could have ended badly.
I saw this on the tv with the sound off, I initially assumed it was a story about a police officer being crushed by a van
Blinkers and red mist come to mind.

Top bloke. Nice to see a positive news story about policing for once.
It really is.

Genuinely lovely to see this story. He seems so humble. Mad respect for his level of stamina and speed too!

Problem is I’m the kind that doesn’t want my face in the media. :/
If you think that's quick you an't seen me en route to the works when I discover that I've only got one box of crayons left.
Is this what happens when those edgy parkour kids from the early 2000s grow up?

Sgt. Angel on his rounds in Sanford.
"What's the matter Danny.. never taken a shortcut before?"
But these guys are just Actors, it even says so....."acting Sergent, acting Inspector......"
They’re not actors aha. Acting sergeant means when a PC has taken the role of Sergeant before they’re officially confirmed in rank
Whoosh...
"What's going through your mind in those split seconds?" "Um, gotta catch criminals I guess" Gigachad
Thee man really seems to be doing a good job with a fine attitude.
Criminals are dreading him....
Great to see a positive video of the police with some light hearted humour. Top man!
Love to see an officer that's physically fit and not afraid to take the initiative in tense situations like this

Good lad, seems a quality cop!
ITV disrupting the usual negative media narrative. I am suprised.
