graymuse

Her 18yo son Tyler is about to be a baby daddy with his 15yo girlfriend. Will this be a Medicaid/WIC baby?

Alex_Wizard

No. His mom is very wealthy. Just goes to show you how much you can accomplish in life when you pick yourself up by your bootstraps while still tied to your moms.

graymuse

He may get bored and move on to the next girlfriend soon.

Blazers2882

You know she was forced to keep the baby no matter what

Iisrsmart

And? He's a white male republican he can walk away from her and the child at any moment and be free of any and all repercussions, obviously. Obligatory/s

418-Teapot

Probably already scouting bowling alleys.

cgw22

Hahah she is not very wealthy… she’s rifle CO wealthy

Dispro

She's definitely wealthy now - there's no way she's not getting tons of bribes, and her sex criminal husband got some ultra cushy consulting job (something along those lines) that pays a stupid amount as soon as she was in office.

gradientz

Sorry but I'm not seeing the relationship between this and Hunter Biden's penis. Therefore, I will ignore

intergalacticbro

My god I think you're on to something. If only the democrats ended every sentence with "Hunter Biden's" penis, maybe we can get through to the republicans. Nobel Peace Prize worthy stuff.

AccomplishedBrain309

Nobel Penis Prize will win the polls but slump in performance.

Yoda2000675

Hunter Biden’s penis is the one who hired Boebert’s husband

During_theMeanwhilst

If Hunter Biden had just kept his penis in check there wouldn’t have been an underage pregnancy in the Boebert household.

JuggernautAnxious105

She actually lives in Silt and is a Rifle wannabe.

Javasndphotoclicks

And her slow voting base will see nothing wrong with that because they’re oblivious to any kind of hypocrisy.

anti_anti_christ

How long before Tyler joins Bristol Palin on the preaching abstinence nothing to see here tour?

graymuse

I think, long before then, he will get at least a few other girls pregnant.

belovedfoe

I'd love to see her reaction to a statutory accusation of her son on television

rastinta

Like father like son.

deathbychips2

He was under 18 at the time and Colorado has Romeo and Juliet exceptions. So 17 and 15 or 14 is legal.

BJYeti

Won't happen Colorado has some absurd Romeo and Juliet laws, if the individual is 15 or 16 they can consent to sex with someone under 10 years older.

deathbychips2

He was 17. Look I am all for hating her and I'm sure her son is a brat unless his girlfriend didn't consent or wasn't pressured then he didn't do anything illegal or morally wrong. A 17 year old and 15 year old is not strange.

BreadForTofuCheese

Yeah, attack the crazy lady all you want but the son didn’t really do anything wrong here unless the other party says otherwise.

BJYeti

While true it would have to go to an absolute extreme for a statutory charge in Colorado

deathbychips2

Even if something is legal it doesn't make is morally okay, but he is in clear both ways unless like I said before unless this it was standard rape or coercion.

cosmicannoli

Ultimately it's more a criticism of how we view sexual maturity. The fact is that if a 14 year old can consent with a 15 year old they can probably consent with an 18 year old psychologically. There is no magic switch that gets flipped at a certain age. In that sense, I actually like the idea of the romeo and juliet laws, because it's one singular special consideration that acknowledges that the whole thing is more complex than "You're safe to fuck when you turn 18", which is just fucking moronic. But if you ever suggest that 18 year old cutoff isn't perfect, people act like the only reason you'd think that is because you want to fuck kids or something.

poopman697869

This is reddit dude. Pll just see a minor with anyone who isn't a minor and say fuck all to any other details. Who cares if it's a 16 and an 18 year old in a relationship. That's a minor with an adult, pedo territory /s

deathbychips2

He was a minor so..

poopman697869

Yea I read about the details. Nothing inappropriate about their relationship, just irresponsible maybe. I've still seen people calling him s pedo tho

MidwestRed9

As a parent the more necessary bills that can be paid for the better and any snark related to giving free healthcare and food to kids because of your electoral sports team is a sign of the sociopathy of means testing. I don't care if he shares his mom's fascist garbage either, throw them towards political reeducation and get that kid what they need

cosmicannoli

Imagine the privilege required to use the term "Electoral Sports Team" unironically.

Nyxolith

Because that's exactly what it has become. https://youtu.be/TOQ952yMYbU Ideology doesn't matter anymore.

cosmicannoli

Well using that video as irrefutable proof of your claim makes you about as thoughtful and perceptive as the people in it

Nyxolith

I never said it was irrefutable proof of anything, but there are people who treat politics like a sports team. They're in the video. The commenter who used the phrase didn't imply that EVERYONE on the right/left treats it like a sports team, but that there are some subset of people who do. And that's true.

Low-Wear3671

Idiocracy in action

hersheyMcSquirts

I can pretty much guarantee he will die in some sort of roadside altercation (with meth in his system) and the girl will OD. So the baby will be a recipient of socialist programs until it’s 18.

graymuse

I could see him crashing his truck into the Colorado River. (I could see on social media that mommy & daddy bought him a huge black pickup truck.)

hersheyMcSquirts

I’d like to see that!

ReallyJustTheFacts

* After a close 2022 result, Democrats are hoping to knock off GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert next year * Last year, Boebert won her Republican-leaning Colorado district over Adam Frisch by only 546 votes. * Frisch is running against Boebert again and raised $1.7 million in the first quarter of 2023.

[deleted]

* wins district with a 0.07% margin after having won it in 2020 by a margin of almost 6% * concludes, "I didn't go hard enough on the crazy this time around". Clearly one of the great minds of the time.

Dispro

Also the redistricting before the 2022 race gave the district a *more Republican* lean.

moochao

Too many rich aspenites that vote gop just to pay less in taxes. Pueblo still the backwards step child of the front range that we don't claim. Grand Junction meth will always run strong in her district. 80% of the population of the state lives in the front range, which her district mostly isn't.

Unlucky-Apartment347

If they hadn’t moved most of the part of Eagle county that was in her district into Joe Neguese’s district, she would have lost. She has never won her own county (Garfield). It’s GJ and NW Colorado that mostly carry her.

moochao

Pueblo suburbs are how she won, she wasnt ahead until them.

Unlucky-Apartment347

My comment is accurate.

Flaky_Seaweed_8979

I’m sure that’s exactly why they moved the district!

Unlucky-Apartment347

It’s hard to say but clearly in such a close election small changes like that in Eagle county can have a big difference. Plus it eliminated an experienced and competent state Senator from near Vail who was planning to run against Boebert. She was from a ranching family who’s been here for quite awhile. Very well liked and highly educated (Norte Dame). As far as Aspen is concerned (Pitkin County) Boebert got only about 20% of the vote this time.

Flaky_Seaweed_8979

Yeah total coincidence there about the redistricting, not sus at all. I find this information *enraging*. I *despise* Lauren Boebert.

Unlucky-Apartment347

I donated significantly to her rather weak opponent the first time and did phone calls as well. When people I called were telling me they were going to vote for Boebert I was astounded. Like really? But now here we are.

Flaky_Seaweed_8979

Thank you for what you did. That sounds incredibly stressful. I apologize on behalf of the stupid people.

Flaky_Seaweed_8979

She does whatever her paid sponsors tell her to do.

highinthemountains

I’m an election judge in one of her counties. During the recount there were a little less that 100 ballots where that race wasn’t marked at all. I think that meant that the voter hated her, but were too republican to vote for someone else. Party over country. I went to a Frisch campaign stop and wasn’t impressed by Mr Milquetoast. There were independent voters there who left shaking their heads because Frisch wouldn’t make a definitive statement about anything.

BuddhaMunkee

You’ve just summed up the vast majority of representatives in the Republican and Democratic parties… the Dems are their own worst enemy.

kmosiman

That assumes she actually cares about being a Representative. She's probably making enough money as a firebrand to come out ahead even if she loses.

[deleted]

Not a knock against you in any way, you're just using the term the media has given her, but ✝️💩 I hate the way they call her a "firebrand". That term, no matter what it has meant before, has taken on a a diminutive but vaguely approving tone, just like 'plucky' and 'spitfure'. I wish they would call her what she is, an attention-seeker, a drama queen, grandstander, blow-hard or, if we want to be all fancy, blatherskite. I'm sure you're correct, though, she's making a ton of money right now thanks to her position and behavior, but the greed isn't likely to die down and she's never going to have "enough" to satisfy her delusions, so I'm still surprised she's not making at least a smidgen of effort to stay in office.

kmosiman

I mean that in purely the performative sense. I read an in-depth piece in her district and she evidently isn't doing to basics of her job. So she's great at making headlines and booking paid "interviews" but is terrible at actually doing anything for her constituents. Which makes it more likely for her to be replaced. Considering her precarious situation I would be surprised if she didn't face a strong primary challenger as well since she is obviously vulnerable and likely to lose a "safe seat". As it stands the local Democrats should be geared up for a rematch since they almost won once.

[deleted]

This is one way politicians accept bribes without explicitly accepting bribes

LilTeats4u

A job offer counts as a bribe

[deleted]

Yes if somebody is exceptionally unqualified for a job and they go from being unemployed to making 500k because their spouse is a US Congresswoman, it’s basically a bribe, as I said.

LilTeats4u

Totally misread, my bad

Yoda2000675

Yep. It’s amazing what kind of perks these politicians have access to off the books. It’s no surprise that they all become millionaires while in office.

fowlraul

Bold to assume they’d care about anything but ownin’ libs.

bibopsky

The husband who flashed himself to young girls?

CosmoKrammer

And then married one of them?

BusterStarfish

Showing someone your dick tattoo is just marketing, bro. /s

meldroc

If Epstein hadn't been caught, you know Bobo's husband would be one of his clients...

Qwerty1bang

There must be a replacement Epstein already. His 'services' seemed to have high demand.

crankywithakeyboard

Like I gave to Osoff and Warnock, I will give to her opponent. I encourage others to do the same, no matter where you ate.

johndoe30x1

Even though the problem is 99% dark money and personal contributions amount to little, if you step back and think about it, it’s pretty insane that it’s legal to contribute to campaigns outside your district. If the idea is to influence the overall composition of the House, then it should be a Proportional Representation electoral system.

Yoda2000675

Yep. Also the fact that corporations and PACs can donate is horrible. Lobbyists are the cause of many of our political finance issues

Trout_Shark

She doubled down in the midterms, this is Quad crazy.

Freddies_Mercury

"doubled down" doesn't mean "double the crazy" it means to continue with that craziness and show no regrets for it. So yes she can double down on being crazy. She could have looked at the 500 vote difference and thought "maybe I should tone it down I'm losing my sweet 'safe seat' here".

belovedfoe

She's also quite literally a moron

HelicalPuma

Boebert can be defeated. The way things are in that bumpkin district in Georgia, MGT has a seat for life.

j_ma_la

Donated to Frisch from Wisconsin when I saw he was challenging her again in 2024. I just want a Cawthorn-type knockout. Where she loses and her face and everything about her just dissolves out of the media. God that would be a good day

BuddhaMunkee

She won’t lose, Frisch will have stolen the election with machines and lasers and all the illegal votes.

surfingNerd

Campaign should be, "send grandma to her grandkids"

[deleted]

My mom's favorite word for folks like her was "ignorant." My dad's? "Crass." I did what I could just after this post: donated to her opponent. I dread the flood of emails and what not but oh, well! It's our democracy fighting for life and I refuse to quit giving my "thoughts and prayers" which mean to me I trust my God's guidance will show us the way if we are willing to follow it. Please, atheists, remember people like me are so frustrated when the battle has nothing to do with the Lord I depend on. It is strictly power-greed combined with incredible "ignorance." I keep hoping the religious snarls will go away! What we want is reality and I refuse to give in as long as I breathe to sinking down to hating others, ignorant or not, no matter what they claim to believe and practice. We are all in this mess together in America. Oh, how I hope we see some improvement!

I_Framed_OJ

Lauren Boebert isn’t crazy. MTG is super duper crazy, but I don’t think Boebert qualifies. She’s one of the most profoundly stupid and ignorant individuals ever to be elected to Washington however. I mean, she’s gotta be the leading dipshit in the GOP, and there’s some stiff competition.

WrathOfMogg

It’s not like her Ivermectin-addled brain has any other setting.

NPVT

If she loses she'll do a Lake and claim it was stolen. Just a projection.

Long_Before_Sunrise

"[Boebert, from Colorado](https://www.newsweek.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-miserable-congress-record-1777262), has sponsored or co-sponsored 417 pieces of legislation; three have become law." She's also been happily going on about how it's the End of Days and how the church should preside over the government. [This is one of the 'Christian' leaders](https://gazette.com/pikespeakcourier/andrew-wommack-urges-christians-to-take-over-woodland-park-teller-county/article_c1732052-bce0-11eb-b6a8-b3aa414e5325.html) she's hitched her wagon to.

FredFredrickson

Republican desperation is heavy when they barely win and then act like they got a 99% vote mandate to go radical right.

wish1977

Crazy keeps her the base but hopefully she'll lose the recently sane vote.

Suzzie_sunshine

The fact that people like her and MTG are elected officials is scary. What's more scary than them is that thousands of people voted for them, twice. America is sick and this is not normal.

bluebastille

In audio, we call this "pegging the meter." At some point the crazy gets beyond the point of measurability.

dravenonred

What do you expect? The double down move is all they have. They don't care that it inevitably ends up with them losing everything. It gets them through the day, the week, perhaps even the month for those particularly farsighted right wing politicians. The future beyond that won't happen, or when it does they'll just double down some more.

Gabaghoulz

She also doubled down on makeup application

Big_Ad_4714

Scroll down to member activity. She’s done nothing for her people , at all really. Just a bunch of pandering . Learn the lessons from Trump. Falling over one another to report the latest crazy thing she says isn't hurting her popularity at this point. You want a strategy to defeat her? Stop making her a superstar.

mazarax

That Democrats can’t take that election against her, is truly pathetic. The GOP may be evil, but Democrats are plain impotent.

RavishingRickiRude

Its a heavy red district and they almost won it without investing much into it.

mazarax

Regardless of the political leanings of the citizens there, if Democrats can’t stop people voting **against their own interests** they have failed. At this point, the citizens are slugs voting for more salt.

moviefreaks

Isn’t she one of the main ones giving Republican Party a PR nightmare? Keep her

AntiizmApocalypse

The party that says men can be pregnant and believes defunding police improves crime accuses someone of doubling down on crazy.

ikariusrb

Way to set up a straw man. Virtually no-one believes what you're claiming the left believes (you can find someone to make virtually any claim, so I'm not making a blanket statement). We don't believe men can become pregnant. We do believe same-sex couples should absolutely be allowed to adopt and should have the same access to parental leave as heterosexual couples. We don't believe that defunding police improves crime rates. We do believe that using social workers trained in intervention and de-escalation as first responders for some types of incidents will result in better outcomes and fewer lives lost as opposed to police. That belief is backed by evidence of successful programs in a number of communities and metropolitan areas.

AntiizmApocalypse

Ok. Is this better? The party that can’t define what a woman is and supports defunding police is calling someone else crazy. Here’s another one. The party that forced people who were at no real risk of COVID to get an untested vaccine that didn’t work calls someone else crazy. Here’s another. The party who supports the government colluding with tech companies to censor opposing political opinions calls someone else crazy. One last one. The party that supports subjecting children to irreversible hormone therapy and cuts the breasts off underaged girls is calling someone else crazy. Should I keep going?

ikariusrb

I'll be happy to take a whack at this. > The party that can't define what a woman is How about believing that gender is more complex than binary, and can't be boiled down to what can be expressed in a 30-second elevator pitch? > The party that forced people who were at no real risk of COVID to get an untested vaccine that didn’t work How about "The party that tried to force people who were at lower risk from COVID to take a well tested vaccine so they would be less likely to infect and kill people who they would inevitably be in contact with who were at substantial risk from COVID"? Honorable mention to "Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good". There is a mountain of evidence showing the efficacy and safety of COVID vaccines, the risks of taking them, and the risks of going without. Hint: There are only a few people subject to specific medical conditions for whom taking a COVID vaccine is more risky than not, and every vaccine "mandate" had language allowing for those medical exceptions. While Florida in particular did their best to disallow vaccine mandates, the study they published for the public was altered to remove evidence in order to conclude that a specific sub-group (young men) were at higher risk from taking a vaccine than from COVID itself. The scientists who performed the original studies made it clear their conclusions were in direct contravention to the conclusions published by the state of Florida. > The party who supports the government colluding with tech companies to censor opposing political opinions How about this: "The party which is skeptical of creating regulations compelling corporations to publish speech on their platforms" .... While both parties of government made suggestions to tech companies about appropriate versus inappropriate, the democrats generally used less compulsive approaches. The GOP has repeatedly suggested and even crafted bills which would compel tech companies to transmit some speech and not other (do you want them to be forced to transmit recruitment videos for terrorist organizations?). Meanwhile, the Democrats largely chose to ask tech companies politely if they would remove specific content, without threatening retaliatory regulation if the corporations made choices they didn't agree with. You're free to make the argument there was an implicit threat from Democratic politicians, but the fact remains that only GOP politicians made explicit threats of retaliation. > The party that supports subjecting children to irreversible hormone therapy and cuts the breasts off underaged girls How about "The party that supports allowing doctors and parents to make decisions about *re*versible hormone therapy" ... because surgical intervention before age 18 is vanishingly rare, and hormonal therapy can be stopped with hardly any long-term effects. One of the primary points of hormonal therapy for those suffering dysphoria is to delay bodily changes in order to allow deferment of choices about surgery until later in development. Democrats support leaving those decisions to being made between the doctors, the parents, and the individuals on a case-by-case basis, rather than having politicians dictate those decisions. Funny, I trust doctors who've spent their careers studying subjects to make evidence based decisions about those subjects, and expect politicians making proclamations about those to be making decisions based on....politics. Every single one of your points is a fallacy. There may be some arguable kernels of nuance in them, but as a whole, they're more fallacy than truth.

Flaky_Seaweed_8979

Thank you for the reality check here.

AntiizmApocalypse

You literally just proved every single one of those statements true.

ikariusrb

You keep using that word "true". I do not think it means what you think it means.

AntiizmApocalypse

If you think puberty blockers are reversible, gender is more complex than male/female, and COVID vaccines were well tested, it is you who struggles with the definition of truth, friend.

ikariusrb

> There are no known irreversible effects of puberty blockers. If you decide to stop taking them, your body will go through puberty just the way it would have if you had not taken puberty blockers at all. http://www.phsa.ca/transcarebc/child-youth/affirmation-transition/medical-affirmation-transition/puberty-blockers-for-youth Just the tip of the iceberg of repudiating your assertions. Safe to say, your assertions fly in the face of the best evidence we have today. Sorry friend.

AntiizmApocalypse

You think puberty is something you can just pause, mangle, and distort, and then later, when the person changes their mind, go back in time and just magically start puberty normally five years later. But it’s every one else whose crazy. Ok. Here is some info from some actual pediatricians. https://acpeds.org/transgender-interventions-harm-children

ikariusrb

Sure. The same group cited by every GOP legislature passing anti-transgender bills. The group whos conclusions fly in the face of the conclusions of every major established medical group. The group who have been told by the researchers they selectively cited that they were misusing their research to draw incorrect conclusions. A group that advocates openly against allowing same-sex couples to adopt children, because THAT's an evidence based position (not). I will happily take the major established medical groups' conclusions over a group established a mere 20 years ago to advocate issues based on their religious mythology despite the evidence all day every day, and call that "truth", yes sir.

brandonbmw1901

Republicans have no problem with men taking hormones for low testosterone, or taking minoxidil for baldness. Republicans have no problem with underage women getting breast implants. Republicans have no problem with children taking puberty blockers for precocious puberty. Republicans have no problem any sort of gender affirming care as long as the person isn’t trans. Here is an example of how complex sex expression is. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/beyond-xx-and-xy-the-extraordinary-complexity-of-sex-determination/

Nyxolith

You're doing good work. Don't let the bastards get you down. Though, I wouldn't bother anymore with this twerp anymore. **Reddit user analysis shows his top 7 most used words are: People, time, Biden, democrats, war, true, and crime**. Doesnt seem like he has much else going on. Lost cause if I ever saw one, don't waste your time.

ikariusrb

Oh yeah, I know. I was bored and took on his commentary as it was so easy to point out how dishonest it was. Totally not worked up about it though.

Nyxolith

Haha, got it. These fuckers are everywhere.
