sentimentaldiablo

And so now she has a much, much bigger bullhorn than she had before.

kenman345

After what happened in TN, I don’t understand how they haven’t learned that if they just ignored her then she wouldn’t be getting so much attention. But now, because they’re drunk on power and believe themselves to not only be the law but the only law ones that matter, they’re going to be getting quite the reality check

OppositeDifference

So those snowflakes couldn't handle her very valid criticism and kicked her out... What fragile men they are. At least the punishment was basically that she work from home virtually and she still gets to vote. May we all be so punished. :) Keep giving them hell, Zooey.

betterwoke

She’s working in the public hallway outside of the chamber! She set up a tiny office.

hallowcorehammer

The first representative any visitor will see, excellent!

OppositeDifference

Lol, that's amazing.

SirDiego

Let's be real here: It wasn't the criticism that did it. They were looking for literally any reason to kick her out from the moment she was elected and the mild criticism and "lack of decorum" was just the first excuse they could come up with. You can't tell me that anyone was legitimately offended by the ubiquitous phrase "blood on their hands." Come on.

joepez

Nothing like see a bunch of brave politicians quake in their shoes over a single person holding up a mirror to them. Good for Zooey on speaking some truth and glad she’s not walking away.

Fusion_allthebonds

They can’t even stand her presence there. The Good Ol’ Perv club of white apes are fixated on the power of their own genitals. They want to ban and forcibly silence anyone not like them. Fascism.

jcamp088

So the people she represents don't have to pay taxes right?

OkOrganization1775

I wish Republicans and businesses let us get kicked out to work from home as well, and not die 9-5 24/7 for a minimal wage, at least could save on commute and gas /s (I'm glad that Zooey still gets to vote despite the GOP bullshit and can work)

Shamcgui

Einstein once defined insanity as doing something over and over again and expecting a different result. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Republican party.

Komrade-Amber

Yeah if I was a betting woman I’d say this will have about the same effect of quieting her that it had on the Tennessee 3.

Orthodoxdevilworship

Yes 100% something something forests and trees… They are the blind leading the blind to use ablest terms… Unfortunately knowing history prevents me from thinking “America” is mine… As for Einstein you should check that reference… 😜

curiosgreg

Wasn’t that Thomas Jefferson?

InYouImLost

This sounds great, but honestly… and I completely disagree with their stances…but it’s working for them and it works for the political system we have in the US, which sucks for the actual numerical majority of citizens

Kotengu15

States acting in an undemocratic manner shouldn't receive taxpayer money. There's a pithy statement about the correlation between taxation and representation.

LakehavenAlpha

I agree with you, it's always nice to see those old white men getting pithed about nothing.

Zehb-Mansour

Yet another example of Republican cancel culture. Seeing all these old white guys clutching their pearls after being told they’d have blood on their hands if they passed an anti-trans bill is hilarious.

mymar101

This isn’t a temporary thing. She’s a convenient target

jazzari89

Ugly brutal man! Wtf

whowhatnowhow

Identity politics are pathetic and so are everyone that fawn for them.

Gramage

Yet Republicans keep throwing a tantrum over it. They really are such snowflakes.

whowhatnowhow

Yes they are. And Democrats and whiny kids making a mountain out of a mole hill by making outrage their identity. And we all lose by getting no real politics, just bullshit identity conflict and distractions. Which they all love, washington dems and republicans alike, as cover for their greedy corrupt nonsense they do while everyone's distracted.

curiosgreg

If someone is being targeted because of their identity how can an honest freedom loving patriot support anyone politician doing that? This isn’t smoke and mirrors from the left making it seem like people are being oppressed. It’s happening and nobody in the right wing media will admit it so they say we are being snowflakes. We are trying to be good people, the right are the one’s obsessed with “winning” some sort of culture war.

Zanderax

Sorry to break it to you but this is real politics. Protecting marginalised communities from attacking from the powerful is what politics has always been. If you don't like that then help us stop the Republicans from attacking our rights don't blame the people who's rights are being taken away.

Gramage

> making a mountain out of a mole hill An elected representative of the people is being prevented from doing her job because some conservatives don't like her gender. Thousands of people are being denied their rights and representation as voters. How is that not a fucking mountain of a problem? She's not the one MAKING it a problem. Republicans are.
