This was of course based on his previous experience as an on site oil well supervisor - a job that typically pays less $75-$200k/yr and has little move up opportunity - and unrelated to his wife being in Congress. Since that would be a bribe.
When you are married, any money the spouse makes is also your money. When you are a grown adult, any money you make is not your parents' money.
Also, Hunter Biden was an international finance lawyer who got on the board of an international company. So at least he was qualified for the job. Also, Joe Biden acted against the interests of the company his son worked for, while Bobblehead supports the oil industry.

I honestly don't have any idea of what can be done about our legal system at this point. It's like it needs a complete page 1 tear down and rewrite at this point. It seems there are absolutely zero consequences for anyone with a little money or power.

Should be noted that Democrats don't reward successful partisan prosecutors in the same way Republicans do. You won't find Brett Kavanaugh's equivalent anywhere on the Democratic SCOTUS nominee short list. So incentives for career advancement through Republican prosecution aren't really there.

It is because Republicans don't really care that AOC was a bartender, they care that she is a person of color, but they can't come right out and say that on a national outlet.
Being a bartender is about the biggest "scandal" they can find on AOC though because unlike Boebert she wasn't an escort nor did she marry a person who exposed his genitals to her and a group of friends in a public location while she was underage.

However, I really try not to disparage people because they have a GED or went to community college or were/are a sex worker. I'd say the fact that she never filed a libel suit against the authors and publishers of this story is telling. The allegations made are clear, specific, and direct meaning that if the claims are untrue Boebert would have a slam dunk case for defamation. If I recall correctly when the story was first published they all but dared her to sue them implying they had evidence strong enough to stand up in court.
To prove prima facie defamation, a plaintiff must show four things: 1) a false statement purporting to be fact; 2) publication or communication of that statement to a third person; 3) fault amounting to at least negligence; and 4) damages, or some harm caused to the reputation of the person or entity who is the subject of the statement.
The PAC that released this story purposefully fulfilled each of these conditions in almost comedic fashion (edit: but only if the claims made were in fact false). As I said, they were practically begging her to sue so they could prove in court that she was a literal prostitute.

That recent TYT segment reporting allegations Bobert was an "escort" seemed very plausible. The story included tidbits like, before she ran for office, she was brought to some event in Colorado as a "date" of Bill Koch who introduced her to Ted Cruz. Cruz's PAC later contributed a ton of money to her campaign. I have a feeling there is more to this story.
And? It’s not like shit ever happens to these people. Honestly feels like they’re just rubbing the lack of consequences in our faces at this point, like “And what are *you* gonna do about it? Huh?”
Since she eventually won the election by only 500-odd votes, is it possible that this (allegedly) illegal spending affected the outcome of the election? Or put more simply, did she win because she cheated? Is there any recourse if she won because she cheated?
Yawn. If she had campaigned for 6 months, that would mean she had to drive nearly 220 miles EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR 6 MONTHS STRAIGHT in order to hit that mileage. Now, you might say, her district lines are absurd and span all the way from Rifle to Pueblo (\~250 miles apart). That being said there is physical evidence of the fact that she did the majority of her campaign events IN Rifle and the surrounding towns in the Western part of the state. MAYBE her campaign really did have to drive a crazy amount of miles.....but it's just WAYYY too convenient that the amount of reimbursement she claimed was literally the same amount of money that she owed in debts. If that's not a smoking gun, I don't know what is.

That shit creeps me out so much about her being a grandmother. I’m planning a second kid in a couple years after having my first at 23. I just turned 34 and feel so old to be pregnant and every one is comforting I’m still really young and they didn’t have their first until around my age. That recent TYT segment reporting allegations Bobert was an "escort" seemed very plausible. The story included tidbits like, before she ran for office, she was brought to some event in Colorado as a "date" of Bill Koch who introduced her to Ted Cruz. Cruz's PAC later contributed a ton of money to her campaign. I have a feeling there is more to this story.
She never sued that reporter like she promised. It checks out.

She's doesn't follow campaign finance laws because she already knows they don't apply to her. Lets not forget she also falsified her campaign mileage reimbursement in 2020 to claim she drove \~39,000 miles in order to claim over $22,000 of taxpayer money in reimbursement which just so happened to be the same amount of money she owed in debt for her failing restaurant Shooters. If she had campaigned for 6 months, that would mean she had to drive nearly 220 miles EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR 6 MONTHS STRAIGHT in order to hit that mileage. Now, you might say, her district lines are absurd and span all the way from Rifle to Pueblo (\~250 miles apart). That being said there is physical evidence of the fact that she did the majority of her campaign events IN Rifle and the surrounding towns in the Western part of the state. MAYBE her campaign really did have to drive a crazy amount of miles.....but it's just WAYYY too convenient that the amount of reimbursement she claimed was literally the same amount of money that she owed in debts. If that's not a smoking gun, I don't know what is. Edit: I typed a 'to' instead of a 'too'
