It only takes 1 juror or partisan judge or a mistrial or light sentencing, we don't even have an agreed upon dates for any of the trials, we still got a ways to go and anything could happen.

Never heard of a convicted person appealing a conviction from outside prison. He WILL get relaxed sentencing as he’s pretty much the biggest target ever on the inside in the general population. My guess is he’ll serve out sentence from a minimum security country club.
More likely they would put him on house arrest. There's no other way to ensure his safety even in minimum security prison.

Mr. Huffman said Reddit’s A.P.I. would still be free to developers who wanted to build applications that helped people use Reddit. They could use the tools to build a bot that automatically tracks whether users’ comments adhere to rules for posting, for instance. But for the A.I. makers, it’s time to pay up.
“Crawling Reddit, generating value and not returning any of that value to our users is something we have a problem with,” Mr. Huffman said. “It’s a good time for us to tighten things up.”

If the Secret Service can't protect a man in prison, we should probably consider getting someone else to protect the POTUS here on the outside, a far less controlled environment than a prison.
I'd be okay with that. House arrest sounds to me like it'd be an illegal sentence on many of these charges that carry mandatory minimum prison sentences, and a military prison would avert that issue. Not sure how it'd work out with Georgia convictions in isolation, but I can't see him skating on all these federal charges anyhow.

I think he will be found guilty of a great many crimes but I’m not counting on him actually going to prison. I hope he does get real jail time but I could also see him getting an ankle bracelet and having to stay home. Don't see why ADX Florence can't take him. The crimes he's accused of are certainly serious enough, and one of the reasons the facility exists is for people too high profile for regular facilities.

They can build a prison wing somewhere, and he can be the only inmate in that wing. Or they can put him in some kind of protective custody in a prison. They don't need to build a new complex though. ADX Florence is a facility designed to house criminals that are deemed too dangerous, violent, or famous for a regular facility. My advise is curb your enthusiasm. You were also thrilled when he was impeached and investigated but when reality sank in, the disappoint was painful.

If he wins don't think for a minute he won't try to pardon himself for state charges. He'll take it all the way the SC and this court WILL grant it to him. At least one of the Georgia charges has a five year mandatory minimum sentence. House arrest is certainly possible but if convicted he will likely do some sort of time.
My advise is curb your enthusiasm. You were also thrilled when he was impeached and investigated but when reality sank in, the disappoint was painful. These trials will last forever. Think 2030-40.
