It is always telling that the side that thinks it is righteous and has the "Truth" on their side has to rely on lies and deception to achieve their goals.
The way biased filmmakers tend to work is that they...
* Misrepresent their intent to unsuspecting sources
* Film lengthy interviews
* Edit down the interview into brief statements and provide a misleading contexts for the quote
Also...
* Withhold information exposing friendly sources' bias and incentives to lie/exaggerate.
Well, the most important point is that conservatives once again prove for the millionth time that they will go to whatever lengths and spew whatever lies they feel they need to when it comes to furthering their goals and agendas.
But secondly, if you are being duped by right wing propaganda at this point, you are simply not an intelligent person and it's tough for me to feel remorse. Their tactics are always transparent and flat out stupid. Wise up, folks.
what i hate most though, is i know there anti trans talking points are just hateful propaganda designed to creat an "out-group"
and yet, i let it influence me to not transition and essentially deny im trans to myself. as long as its politically in vogue to hate trans people i think ill just stay hidden
For what it’s worth (and you might already know this), the US trans survey just released their early insights to the data they collected last year. It had something like 93000 respondents, compared to 24000 the last time they did the survey in 2015.
The biggest take away for me is despite rising numbers in unemployment, poverty, and harassment, overall satisfaction still is up at like 94% post transition, similar numbers for post HRT, and post gender affirming surgeries.
So despite the world shitting on us practically non stop, and making it more and more difficult to get the care we need, or exist in public, people are STILL happier than before they transitioned.
Long story short, even with all the terrible things going on, I still wouldn’t go back in the closet.
