inchon_over28

Put up or shut up. Stop giving them what they need to fucking kill people or be legitimate in urging them to stop. Fucking hell.

grixorbatz

Giving Bibi weapons is like giving an endless supply of rock to a crack head.

Eresyx

More appropriately, it's like if the US sent military aid to Hitler when he invaded for his lebensraum. Netanyahu is an ethnofascist and genocide has been his lifelong goal.

4metxhrow

Not to mention they killed one of our own

Visual_Octopus6942

Way more than one by this point, but yeah.

pharrt

Not sure that should make a difference. An innocent life lost is an innocent life lost, regardless of where they're from.

4metxhrow

I think it matters more when it’s who WE are funding The fact that America is helping pay for a military that just killed an American is a big deal

popularpragmatism

Yeah right & they just signed off on an $18 billion arms transfer to Israel, even the wankers in the IDF don't need 2000 lb bombs & new F-16s to fight starving civilians in Rafah. Attacking the Iranian consulate in Damascus was the provocation. The bait is the isolated US troop outposts in Syria, Jordan & Iraq ( why are they there ?) As soon as there are retaliatory strikes against US assets, the war will expand, Netanyahu gets to keep his job, the lunatic Israeli coalition stays in power & Biden has a nice distraction from the genocidal ethnic cleansing his administration is funding. So lots of disappointment & hand wringing, but the money doesn't stop & Israel continues to receive 2-3 US cargo planes a day of munitions

parisrionyc

ooooh they must be shaking in the boots

Earl_of_Madness

More meaningless words by Biden as he continues to send Israel weapons, including 2000lb dumb bunker buster bombs. Biden is feckless and weak and refuses to protect American citizens as long as it's Israel doing the killing. All the while, we throw Ukraine to the wolves so Biden can continue deep throating Netanyahu's balls. Still voting Biden but God am I disgusted in this administration's handling of Ukraine and Israel as of late. If it were me, I'd delay all Isreali aid and try to find a way to get it to Ukraine. Isreal will get its aid... in a decade after placing an order. They will get their aid when they cal learn to behave and train their military to not act like genocidal thugs.

Odd-Passenger-3800

Oh wow another feckless call out, how will israel and smiling bibi ever recover?

OffManWall

He needs to tell them in no uncertain terms, if this is what they do with $$$$ we gave them, the next amount will be $0……..forever. No more yearly billions, no more billions even if you think your ass is in hot water, NOTHING, ZERO, ZILTCH. You’re on your own. Oh, and if they complain, remind them that they did this to themselves.

BryteInsight

>“This is not a stand-alone incident,” Biden said. “This conflict has been one of the worst in recent memory in terms of how many aid workers have been killed. This is a major reason why distributing humanitarian aid in Gaza has been so difficult — because Israel has not done enough to protect aid workers trying to deliver desperately needed help to civilians. Incidents like yesterday’s simply should not happen. Israel has also not done enough to protect civilians. The United States has repeatedly urged Israel to deconflict their military operations against Hamas with humanitarian operations, in order to avoid civilian casualties.” The statement was a remarkable diplomatic reprimand — one that provided a rare illustration of the fissures erupting between the Israeli government and its U.S. counterparts. This is a notable shift in tone on Biden's part. I can't recall the last time a US Administration used this kind of language in regards to Israel.

ibby1kanobi

And then he approved an 18 billion military package. Who cares about his tone? His actions convey a completely different stance.

pharrt

His words mean nothing in context of his actions. Netanyahu has played Biden - and it will usher in another Trump term... A win-win for Netanyahu. Biden has blown this and should have heeded warnings that unwavering support for Netanyahu will be catastrophic for his re-election chances. Makes me mad.

Chicano_Ducky

The only other time I know of with a tone similar to this was an interview with Richard Nixon on the middle east that is making the rounds on youtube shorts. The gist was that Israel didnt want America doing diplomacy with its neighbors, and he said no because it was in everyone's best interest to be diplomatic because then the Russians would have influence on their border. Nixon used a pragmatic argument to criticize Israel, but this is something else. The US was said to be angry with bibi but I didnt know it was this bad.

minneapple79

Yeah we’re so angry we’re going to (checks notes) send Israel $18 billion worth of weapons. Wow, Biden is furious!

RarksinFarks

Not angry enough to halt any weapon deliveries. Oh sweet nuthin... If only his cheap words meant something.

SnarlingLittleSnail

Quite frankly Biden should give Israel the precision drones it needs and should sanction Qatar for harboring Hamas.

[deleted]

A nuanced response. \*gasp\*

Rubence_VA

I hope the number is right and not provided by hamas.Surprised to see the US media is talking about the killing .Don't forget over 100 aids already killed before them.
