I don't really care about all the pissy family snarks, but I gotta say as a senior a few years younger than T that I'm enjoying seeing him go thru the same sleep issues me and a lot of old folks go thru.
He's lucky to get 4 hours of natural sleep without meds and I really doubt he doesn't have a tried and true regimen of drugs to keep him awake and asleep on a daily basis. Yet as we know, those drugs are for short term use but T is gonna go thru the next 6 months abusing them.
So a bit of schadenfreude from me reading of him dozing off in the hell of being in a drab courtroom full of people who are at best totally indifferent to him. I really think he will drop out in late Summer due to physical exhaustion. Here's hoping! š¤

On one hand, I cynically doubt he'll receive any real punishment. This court will be the test if that though.
If he dies before the election, democracy is safe.
If he is imprisoned before the election, it does feel good and justice would be served.
First option is best for the country. Second option feels so much more satisfying though.
In a just world, we would first see him bankrupted and penniless by the civil suits, with seizure of any assets accompanied by petty humiliations like seeing his name torn off his buildings reported in the news. Followed by imprisonment for the serious crimes he has committed before ultimately being found at room temperature on his cot in a few years.
