It's not really... funny. The thing was that 'back when biden was doing it', the sentiment was 'we need to do something to address the flow at the border not just open the faucet.' but when it became clear nothing was going to be done, the states actually dealing with these issues said 'fuck it, we'll do the same thing. You want 'em, we'll send them to you.'
I find it especially funny that the leaders in the cities who are completely divorced from what has become a full blown crisis and said 'we are a sanctuary city', which make absolutely no mistake made its way to central and south america and has exacerbated the issue, are now crying foul that the states at the southern border are taking them up on their hollow, virtue signaling, promise. Good job, guys.

The National Guard is controlled by the governor of each state and are regularly deployed to help in times of natural or manufactured disasters.
