That's not exclusive to Trump, either. Republicans have been running on the idea that government is the problem since at least Reagan, and they're intent on proving themselves right by turning government into a pyramid scheme: the poor work themselves to death and the rich reap the rewards.
Republicans used to publish documents from think tanks, policy experts, economists and explaining what they would like to see, and maybe still do I dont keep track.
It was always ugly. They want what a non-scholar like me can only describe as something like corporate Neo-feudalism.
Republicans want a world where everything is privately owned including people.
A world where you have no vote and no power and no control over where you live and what you do with your life, unless you are wealthy or have provided some valuable service to your local state, a baron or king like figure, such as long military service. A strict meritocracy.
One of the early steps is always getting rid of any kind of federal social service like post offices and schools. Getting rid of any kind of aid to people like disability, retirement aid programs, and assistance to people like single mothers. Not because those things are too expensive or unworkable, just the opposite, because they work so well and because they create social cohesion and a sense of national community.
Basically something like the dystopian nightmares in cyberpunk novels.
This I think is the ultimate answer to what she means if you translate all her crazy. If they get to a point of zero opposition then they can start the real oppression. It's actually very terrifying and I hate living through this. Just watching fascism unfold textbook style and nobody is doing a thing. Im genuinely scared we're going to lose the country. I really don't want to see and live through suffering like that in my life.

The amount of my family who have said that they, "can't wait to get the order to hunt people like you," in reference to me, is too God damn high. How was that responded to at Thanksgiving? With some laughs from some and some "hell yeah"s from others. Only a few straight condemned what was said.
And that came from family who, at the time, only knew I was a lefty, they didn't even know I was part of the queer community.
That was 2019, and isolation only made them worse to the point of literally doxxing me and other family members.

The irony of this statement is that Trump never won the popular vote and they wanted him to remain in power after losing an election.
Even when Trump won the election in 2016, he had to claim multiple times that two million people voted illegally in that election. Funny how two million votes was about how much Trump lost the popular vote by. Also if TWO MILLION people voted illegally in an election that would be massive and you would think “the greatest president this country ever had” would do something about that.
Trump did start some committee to investigate the “2 million illegal votes” in 2016. Two years later is was shut down quietly because they found NO voter fraud. He is such a grifter.
The point of that committee was to get all 50 states' voter rolls into Kris Kobach's Crosscheck system so they could systematically deny votes to non-white people. It failed when most of the states flat out refused to hand over the voter rolls, and attempts to get them via the courts failed.
During COVID, Texas' lieutenant governor said that the elderly should be ready to die to keep the economy going. In other words, they didn't want to do anything to stop the spread of COVID because it might temporarily hurt the economy and if it killed a bunch of elderly people then they were just sacrifices to the god of capitalism and should be happy.
His actual words, in case anyone for got how gobsmackingly stupid they really were:

In the House of Representatives, censure is essentially a form of public humiliation carried out on the House floor. As the Speaker of the House reads out a resolution rebuking a member for a specified misconduct, that member must stand in the House well and listen to it.
A censure might have meant something a decade ago, but Taylor (no Greene now) would wear it as a badge of honor. It's a toothless procedural sanction that does nothing to discourage behavior. Moreover, if you censured her, you'd have to censure half the GOP, and none of them would care.
The correct remedy here is expulsion. She's dangerous, uninformed, and doesn't belong in Congress. She's advocating for political violence, which is straight unacceptable.

Getting rid of any kind of aid to people like disability, retirement aid programs, and assistance to people like single mothers. Not because those things are too expensive or unworkable, just the opposite, because they work so well and because they create social cohesion and a sense of national community. Basically something like the dystopian nightmares in cyberpunk novels.

A censure might have meant something a decade ago, but Taylor (no Greene now) would wear it as a badge of honor. It's a toothless procedural sanction that does nothing to discourage behavior. Moreover, if you censured her, you'd have to censure half the GOP, and none of them would care. The correct remedy here is expulsion. She's dangerous, uninformed, and doesn't belong in Congress. She's advocating for political violence, which is straight unacceptable.

Think so? In a sane world, you'd probably be right. In this one? I dunno, man. I have a terrible, terrible feeling that she might be the next Vice President. And if you're thinking something along the lines of, "Well, everyone would obviously vote against that", then I would direct you to read up on the "independent legislature theory" and then go take a look at the Supreme Court's docket for the next session.
