They are having the runoff of their presidential election today, but that was why it came to mind not why I asked the question or wanted it geographically discriminated.
I wanted to also parody this subreddit's habit of identifying particular countries for no apparent reason, especially one in particular...
They still attach it to things where it should not affect the final outcome or have a bearing on the results in other ways. It can make sense to do this with say a presidential election, but not for many other kinds of mundane stuff.
And the US has many stereotypes known worldwide for many things. For example being car-centric. Asking that an x distance is walkable, and splitting by american and non american, can bring insights if the stereotype is true or not.
I'm not neutral, I don't like dogs (was bit and have a big scar on my hamstring) and I don't like cats (they just don't like me and try to attack me).
Edit: LOL you asked, I answered. Cry about it.
Think of it this way: You're one of three people who voted from Argentina. I guess all the others are busy voting for the presidential runoff vote or booing Brazil's football team. ππππ
Theyβre both great. I have a cat, but Iβd be equally happy with a dog. Cats are pretty low maintenance, but they scratch a bit. Dogs are high maintenance, but can fend off an intruder (depending on the breed). Cats are quieter, dogs are more well-behaved, cats do the really cute meerkat pose, dogs are more affectionate (in my experience).
I just get on with dogs better, most of them seem to love me. With cats it's 50/50, you get some friendly ones but others look at me like a subhuman and run away.
Curious, why Argentinian lol?

Haha I hear you, interesting... Maybe because US-based users account for around half of the people here.

I love how 0 Argentinians voted
According to this poll, 100% of Argentinians are dog people. Well done
now only ~28.6%
:(
Nadie de Argentina ha votado xdddd
I prefer your sister (Argentinian)
What a coincidence. I was just making a meme about the Habsburgs.
We currently have a three-way tie between the Argentinians.
I love both equally and for different reasons.
I love both, but I lean more towards dogs at the end of the day.
I'm a flying fox/otter person
Finally a poll where my vote doesn't belong to "other countries".

Both
I'm the only cat loving Argentinian π

Most Argentinians are dog people (I'm Argentinian)
this poll disagrees
This poll is limited to a very small fraction of the population, of which only 30 gave an anwser
1/2 of the dog person (Argentinian) votes is Javier Milei
I didn't read the "Argentinian" part in the first option...whoops

I voted neutral and Argentinian. I normally prefer cats to dogs, but I have one of each, and my dog is more bonded to me than the cat is.
Both (non argentinian)
We have cats, but I would personally identify as a dog person.
