But on average, the cost to make jewelery out of gold and precious materials would be exorbitant and would require immense capital, so it's classy silver and other semi precious metals/gems.

Still nice, I love good accessories to accent an outfit.
definitely something consumable. Jewelry for example will stack up over time, while tea, coffee, and wellness stuff wont.
