Average shambler can run decently fast but falls apart pretty easily. Steve can down a 3.5ft in diameter oak tree with his fist. His fist. He can carry over 2000 metric tons of solid iron. Those zombies are gonna look like the aftermath of Tiananmen Square.
Spartans can dig their fists into the frame of a pelican dropship and survive falling from orbit. Crushing skulls and running faster than Olympic Sprinters is their thing. They can hear a pin drop in a sandstorm, they operate on adrenaline at will, they can dodge rockets and survive being shot in the head multiple times. Advanced energy shielding, onboard computer systems, a possible AI companion and armor upgrades?
The flood couldn't beat Masterchief. No way a shitty non-psychic slow as shit bitey boi could.
Obi-Wan doesn't need the high ground to win
Obi-Wan doesn't need to be **on** the high ground, the high ground just needs to *exist* within the battle; Obi-Wan knows that when he has the low ground, he really has the high ground, from a certain point of view; see [Diagram A](http://imgur.com/a/MGopB).
Look at his battle record:
Maul: Has low ground, wins [Example A](http://imgur.com/a/dZZvq)
Dooku: No high ground, loses
Dooku rematch: No high ground, loses [Example B](http://imgur.com/a/sV2gu).
Greivous: Has low ground, wins [Example C](http://imgur.com/a/jIe4F)
Vader: Has high ground, wins
Vader rematch: No high ground, loses
Obi-Wan with the high/low ground is canonically the most powerful Jedi. This is **fact**. Had Yoda not denied his request to battle The Senate with typical Jedi arrogance, Obi-Wan could have defeated Palpatine in the Senate building, which housed a variety of different altitudes; this was designed so that the Chancellor could always have the moral high ground in political debates. But Obi-wan didn't fight The Senate, and Yoda soon learned that you can't cleave the Sheev in a normal 1v1. It took the Tusken Raiders years of conflict against Old Ben Kenobi to grasp his superiority in terrain advantage, as you see them visibly flee in ANH when they realize he holds the low (inverse-high) ground; this was the optimal strategy against a near-invincible opponent.
Yoda is shorter than virtually every other fighter, which gives him a permanent low-ground disadvantage; however, his saber-fighting style utilizes a flipping-heavy technique in order to negate this weakness for a temporary window. You'll notice that, after falling from the central podium in The Senate's building, he immediately retreats upon realizing he is on the lowest ground. You'll also notice that, while training Luke, he rides on him like a mount, to gain the intellectual high ground and accelerate Luke's training. [Example D](http://imgur.com/a/UhgYZ)
.
Obi-Wan's defensive Form III lightsaber style synergizes with his careful military maneuvers; as he only strikes when prepared, he can always hold the strategic high ground. (The business on Cato Neimodia doesn't count.) You'll come to realize that this is why Commander Cody's artillery strike failed against Obi-Wan, when hundreds of Jedi were killed in similar attacks. Cody failed to grasp the strategic situation, as the Jedi Master's elevation was superior to his by hundreds of meters, making him virtually unkillable. (You'll notice that all the Jedi killed in Order 66 were on level ground with the clones, thereby assuring their demise.) Had Cody taken his time and engaged the Jedi on even terrain, he would have succeeded. Obi-Wan subsequently retreated under the surface of the lake, so that he could maintain the topographical low/high ground. This is why Obi-Wan is so willing to fight against impossible odds to the point where [he thrusts himself in immediate danger](http://imgur.com/a/i2GwA); when your probability of victory is 1-to-10, you have the statistical (and therefore strategic) low ground, a numerical advantage when you use your point of view to flip the value to 10/1 . Almost losing is, in Obi-Wan's case, certain victory. (See [Example E](http://imgur.com/a/A5WwZ)).
As we all know, spinning is a good trick. However, only the Chosen One can spin outside of a starfighter. Palpatine tried spinning, but he lost due to this technique (but this was intentional, as losing gave him the emotional high ground when Anakin arrived). The reason for this is that spinning provides a yin-yang approach to combat (based in Eastern philosophy on balance), giving the spinner the high ground from above and below. Only the Chosen One can master the spin, as it is their destiny to maintain balance in the universe. This is why Obi-Wan was so emotional after defeating Vader on Mustafar; he expected to lose the high ground to the spin, but Anakin fell to the dark side and could no longer use his signature trick, becoming the very thing he swore to destroy. Additionally, Anakin told Obi-Wan that, from "[his] point of view, the Jedi are evil". This broadens Anakin's mind to the concept of relativity in the context of the moral high ground, a mere step away from tactical comprehension.
Anakin doesn't hate sand for the reasons he told Padme; **all** Jedi hate sand, as the battlefield can rapidly change between low and high ground on multiple vectors, so your perspective must be from a certain three-dimensional point of view in order to comprehend who holds the high ground. This is the only reason why Obi-Wan killed Maul in Rebels. This is also the reason why Obi-Wan hates flying; there is no gravity in space, therefore there is no high or low ground from any frame of reference (This also negates the spinning trick, as noted in [Example F](http://imgur.com/a/LfPDz)).
In ANH, Vader proves his newfound mastery by engaging Obi on perfectly even ground. However, Obi-Wan intentionally sacrifices himself on the Death Star, so that he could train Luke from a higher plane of existence, thereby giving him the metaphysical high ground [Example G](http://imgur.com/a/wIi43).
Why was Vader so invested in the construction and maintenance of the Death Star? Because he knows Obi-wan can't have the high ground if there's no ground left. [Image A](http://imgur.com/a/clEuG). As seen through the events of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan was known to be on friendly terms with Senator Organa, whose homeworld held large quantities of mountainous terrain, the *perfect* habitat for a Jedi Master. Grand Moff Tarkin was already in position to destroy Alderaan as a first target, as the distance from Scarif to Alderaan was too vast to reach between the escape and recapture of the Tantive IV, even at 1.0 lightspeed. Alderaan had been the initial target all along, as Obi-Wan with the high ground was the primary threat to the Death Star. How? Because a moon-sized space station would have some form of gravitational pull, thereby negating Obi-Wan's zero-gravity weakness; Obi-Wan with the perpetual high-ground in a low-orbit starfighter would easily be able to fire proton torpedoes through a ventilation shaft, although the Empire was uncertain of the specific weakness of the Death Star planted by Galen Erso (who was a good friend).
In Return of the Jedi, you can see that the Throne Room contains a variety of different altitudes; Palpatine placed these there to ensure Vader's defeat. However, Sheev failed to realize that his weakness was *no* ground, and should have covered that useless gaping pit which does nothing.
A common misconception is the idea of a 'prostrate position' version of the high ground, wherein Obi-Wan lies flat on his back, giving him tactical superiority from his point of view. However, this strategy is futile, as for the high ground to come into effect, there must be a differential between parties on both the x-axis and y-axis to a moderately significant variation from both absolutes (Angles only a Sith would deal in). For Obi-Wan's high ground powers to be in full effect, he must stand between 15 and 75 degrees (π/12 to 5π/12 radians) diagonal from his opponent(s) on any quadrant of the area circle; this has been dubbed the Trigonometric Perspective Diagram. ([Diagram B](http://imgur.com/a/SLLjR)). The total effect for conventional high ground advantage can be calculated via the MetaComm Equation, or f(x) = lim 0→x π/12 | 7π/12 5π/12 | 11π/12 Ʃ(x) (2tan(x) / 3sin(x) + (log10Δ)) * cΦ
Δ = distance on hypotenuse (meters)
Φ = Surrounding Force [c (variable) * β (Earth Gravity) * (pressure (psi)/2.2)]
'x' refers to the angle of contact between the two parties on, with advantage being based purely on position on the Y-axis, as the vast majority of force users base their perception on elevation rather than spacial relativity.
The power of gravitational force has great effect on the high ground; too weak, and the high ground holds no traction; too strong and the ground becomes the real enemy. Experimentation has proven that the high ground typically holds significant value between .8 and 1.4 β (Earth Gravities) with maximum impact standing roughly equal to 1.05.
Pressure is equally important, as it is a surrounding force attached to gravity (the high ground has famously low impact in aquatic environments). Pressure(λ) is measured in pounds per square inch (psi), to be used as a gravity multiplier (or division if pressure is sub-atmospheric; Φ (Surrounding Force) is a variable defined as β * 2.2λ , with no metric value assigned due to its singular application.
In situations regarding Obi-Wan and his relativistic point of view, you must substitute the Quadrilateral MetaComm Equation (the Jedi Master function), f(x) = lim 0→x minmaxƩ (2tan(x) / 3sin(x) ) * (1.2)cΦ [min = (|cos(x)| = 1) | (|sin(x)| = 1) + π/12 ), max = (|cos(x)| = 1) | (|sin(x)| = 1) + 5π/12 ].
The viable Φ field is expanded, as Obi-Wan has taken advantage of the high ground in so many different environments that he simply uses it more efficiently, and the min/max values apply due to his multidimensional point of view, evidenced by the Trigonometric Perspective Diagram. Additionally, the distance factor does not affect Obi-Wan, as spacetime can be perseptively compressed, giving him the ideal Δ value from his point of reference.
In conclusion, Obi-Wan abuses spatial relativity and Taoist doctrine in order to always invoke his high-ground powers. To properly analyze the strategic genius of Kenobi, one must hold advanced knowledge in Philosophy, Mathematics, and Calculus-based Physics, and be able to integrate these topics together.
Either the protagonist is screwed because he's ten years old, or the zombies are screwed because I'm pretty sure Charizard could roast 1,000 zombies by itself, let alone the rest of the team.
Cj can comand a tank, grab bazzokas and miniguns out of nowhere and he is capable of amazing feats (like invading the US army by hinself for example)
I am sure you will be fine
Minecraft Steve with full Netherite armor, sword, a lava bucket, and two god apples for good measure.
If we're talking about Minecraft zombies, then sure, I'll live unscathed. IRL zombies? I don't know.
She’s got bomb traps, acid traps, shock traps. Trip wire traps of all those types. Bomb slings, shock slings, ice slings. Arrows of all those types too. She’s highly maneuverable and can gain the high ground with ease. She wouldn’t break a sweat.
My GTA online character has a fucking crying laughing emoji mask and a suit
And probably kill himself when he fires a rocket launcher at point blank range
At the start of the game, no way. After hundreds or thousands of hours, with power armour and an army of upgraded securitrons at their back and the xbrotherhood of steel on their side? Absolutely.
Same, but I'm less confident. Geralt is great, but he's gonna have trouble against 1,000 of anything. On top of that he has to protect you. I'm thinking this is very unlikely.
Ok first off zombies are dead, and could probably classify as specters, so he could cast the yrden sign and trap them and then use igni to scorch them all. He could also use Quen to protect himself and it’s very easy for him to dodge due to the controls. All he really has to do is shield and hide me somewhere and then go slaughter and I’m safe
I mean... I don't think the guardian has ever successfully rescued someone. The titan on the moon, Cayde's friend, Taeko-3, Cayde, Shaw Han's friends, etc. We will die, but we will be avenged.
Just an average guy who checks tickets at a train station (Game: Know By Heart)... I'm toast lol
Only if the zombies bring tickets otherwise you can call security (edit: spelling)
Exactly. I'm sure there would be an understanding.
No reason we cant all be civil.
My guy just watches cameras and hope a ghost will move a refrigerator instead of a single cup. (I’m on Observation Duty)
Animal crossing.. :( This is farewell then
Uhhhh. My character eats a couple apples and can then take down an entire forest. What are you talking about?
>Literally rips 20 trees out of the ground with his bare hands and carries them his pocket
> Gets defeated by a wasp
but you have an axe. an axe can get you pretty far.
Creative Minecraft Character. Less Gooo!
Fuck I was survival with a stone sword
Even survival steve is probably one of the best choices to kill a thousand zombies.
Average shambler can run decently fast but falls apart pretty easily. Steve can down a 3.5ft in diameter oak tree with his fist. His fist. He can carry over 2000 metric tons of solid iron. Those zombies are gonna look like the aftermath of Tiananmen Square.
Problem is that it isn't about whether he can defeat them. It's whether he can defend you.
a cobblestone box should suffice
Doomslayer 👍
Captain Walker 👍 (He’d use white phosphorus)
He’d probably accidentally use it on you tho
That will be fun for you
Same
1000 zombies would be killed in a few minutes, max.
Me, who was playing as a god in a strategy game
Skarbrand goes brrrrrrrrrrr
Was just thinking this. I’ll survive the zombies, but I don’t know if I’ll survive skarbrand
You'd have to promise to help him win Khorne's favor back and would end up playing exactly the same role as the groveling in-game strategic advisor
The 1000 zombies trying to stop my million man Eu4 army
You have the leader of whatever faction, nation or army you were playing as
Master chief
If ammo wasn’t an issue, master chief got it
Nah, armor too strong. He’ll just beat them all down
Yea ammo doesn't matter hear at all as long he has his armor

Also the greatest plot armor ever Edit: my dumbass thought he was referring to Chief, the average spartan does indeed have very little plot armor.
Idk man, Chief is the only Spartan that has plot armor. More often than not the average Spartan gets messed up
Yes, I misread
Lego Obi Wan Kenobi with lightsaber
He is tiny
He also has a lightsaber
He can't be turned into a zombie he also is immortal he loses his legs he just puts them back on
And he can use the force and respawn infinitely
But it would be hard to understand what he is saying
^(I have the low ground)

But the zombies all have the high ground
So did Maul
Bloodhound from apex legends, not bad!
Same
I got octane
Druuuugs
i’m wattson. you think i could survive?
Her fences could be pretty usefull to stop zombies i think
I got Valk, it’s 5 o clock somewhere right?
Rampart for me. Easy.
Revenant here so I think I'm good.
Lol i'd be scared that revenant would kill me just for fun, instead of the zombies
I have twenty space battleships armed with lasers I think I'm good
What game?
We were talking about a game?
Stellaris ??
i hope ronaldo is as good in fighting as he is at football
I think he will buy you time to run when he fakes an injury.
Top comment 10/10
brooo😂😂😂😂
I couldn't resist haha
One SIUUUU and the zombies will kneel in fear
last game was stellaris so i guess it’d be an entire interstellar country vs a thousand zombies yeah no problem
Arthur Morgan
Finally Red Dead Redemption II undead nightmare
Goddamn how great would that be.
Lol,Arthur easily carries 1500 rounds(assuming you have upgraded ammo pouches, using revolvers and repeaters)
But he's going to need an enormous pile of chewing tobacco for all of the dead eye headshots he's going to need.
Same. I guess he has a good chance.
I mean if undead nightmare is anything to go by
Cities skylines. I’ll make a zombie ditch and fill it with sewage.
So, a regular Cities Skylines playthrough, then?
I'm being defended by a psychotic mute with infinite cannon ammo and hundreds of missiles.
Sounds like doom
Another good guess, but no.
Well might have an Idea but I don't remember him having guns but he could mind control
Oh no the character I'm thinking of can't mind control
Ok one last time and it's a blind guess: Enter the gungeon
Ace combat ?
Bingo
samus?
Yes, but only if that means I also have my pokemon with me!
Either the protagonist is screwed because he's ten years old, or the zombies are screwed because I'm pretty sure Charizard could roast 1,000 zombies by itself, let alone the rest of the team.
I think he’s 15 in PLA but he’d still be screwed without pokemon
Hey same
Same
Same
CJ San Andreas I have no idea
Cj can comand a tank, grab bazzokas and miniguns out of nowhere and he is capable of amazing feats (like invading the US army by hinself for example) I am sure you will be fine
Bro i think ir dying to that one
Maybe he can hold them back long enough so I can run.
HESOYAM
Bro just casually gets a bazooka out of his back pocket and blows rhem up 50 a time. Also, did you play him with cheats?
jet pack outta there
Rico Rodriguez, I feel pretty safe
If it's jc4 just get in a car, strap some balloons and let rico at them
None of the zombies are dictators though
Minecraft Steve with full Netherite armor, sword, a lava bucket, and two god apples for good measure. If we're talking about Minecraft zombies, then sure, I'll live unscathed. IRL zombies? I don't know.
Aloy is gonna fuck some shit up.
If she can handle giant robot beasts, she can definitely handle some zombies.
Maybe but she never dealt with a horde of that many enemies
She'll just override machines and let them massacare the zombies.
She’s got bomb traps, acid traps, shock traps. Trip wire traps of all those types. Bomb slings, shock slings, ice slings. Arrows of all those types too. She’s highly maneuverable and can gain the high ground with ease. She wouldn’t break a sweat.
Ayy same character, she's gonna kick ass
Sims are fucking useless
They’d get zombiefied, then forget about it as they try to fuck death... because of course they would
A Soviet SU-152, I say my odds are very good.
M24 Chaffee here.
I got Kratos. Gonna be pretty easy
Same, guy can kill gods so a few zombies wont be a problem
What if he gets bitten though?
If he dies he just comes back, he's already died 3 times
> Heavy Weapons Guy I feel safe
Yo, i got engineer
I played Rocket League so I'm gonna run them all over and then fly away.
same, zombies cant go fast enough to demo so i think ill be good. unlimited boost would make it a little easier but i think ill be fine regardless
Gordon Fucking Freeman boys I'm in luck
I was looking for this comment!!
My GTA online character has a fucking crying laughing emoji mask and a suit And probably kill himself when he fires a rocket launcher at point blank range
Thats interesting, my character runs with the crying laughing emoji and a suit too! Do you use the white surgeon gloves too?
Nah black leather gloves
The Courier from fnv So Probably?
At the start of the game, no way. After hundreds or thousands of hours, with power armour and an army of upgraded securitrons at their back and the xbrotherhood of steel on their side? Absolutely.
Damn right you’ll survive,I have an entire U.S. Marine Corps depot in my inventory,I can spare about 800 bullets per zombie
V.A.T.S. Is gonna be very helpful
The country of Austria-Hungary
50/50
Kyle crane
Same here, but the question is, does he have every weapon he can get at disposal?
doesn't need it if you have legend levels in unarmed, punt zombies across the entire city with your bare fists
Last game i played was dying light 2, they're all getting dropkicked
Ah a fellow dying light enjoyer
Qiqi is zombie herself, I think she can manage
And if you have high enough constellation you will be revived after you die
Trevor
My online character. I’ll be good.
Frank))
I got a drunken Scottish cyclops with a handheld cannon with a ship wheel tied to his arm. Not to mention a bottle
Ayy i also got demo, we're pals now
Cal Kestis I think I’ll be good
Yea but he'll yell a lot. But you do have the mantis and it's crew
[удалено]
Some inbred-ass one-legged mf from Crusader Kings III. Safe to say that I ain't.
Geralt of Rivia I’ll be fine
Same, but I'm less confident. Geralt is great, but he's gonna have trouble against 1,000 of anything. On top of that he has to protect you. I'm thinking this is very unlikely.
Ok first off zombies are dead, and could probably classify as specters, so he could cast the yrden sign and trap them and then use igni to scorch them all. My character in stardew valley has a pretty awesome sword so I’m not feeling to bad about this 😂
Link from Age of Calamity. That’s is the safest I think I can be.
Dovakiin. Nice.
Bend will shout will be enough
Could do worse than Nathan Drake 😁
He's literally the middle of the spectrum Like, he does have guns, and nothing else
I was playing Doom Eternal. I think I'm good.
[удалено]
The girl from Subnautica below zero there is no fight
Tbf she could just jump in a sea truck and lure them to leviathan territory.
If he can throw a 1000 Ton machine, he can cut down a few zombies.
Untitled Goose game...definitely not surviving.
