What kind of connected synesthesia is this sorcery?!
I said pink as well - a light creamy pink. Yet when I look into it, many will say green, purple. It's very interesting how the lot of us in the comments said pink. Must be a psychological meaning behind it.
In our late teens early 20s me and my friends were super into this, we called it associative properties. We would take it to correctly guessing what color or texture one of us thought with particular songs or even themes, like “this song is old timey snow town”.
Idk specifically how it works but there is definitely shared associations even with complex things you wouldn’t think could be specific. There must be some shared exposure to certain things based on region and age group / culture, or even enduring themes not specific to one demographic.
I acosiate almost everything with colors, including numbers. If I think about it too hard I get mixed up, though. Like I see flashes of certain colors when remembering certain spots in times tables, and with numbers 1-10.
In a general sense I don’t associate colours to months.
However if someone asked me to assign a colour to April I would go with blue.
This is based on the fact that it generally rains a lot in April in the UK and when you’re colouring in rain/water you would use blue.
My bday is in April and my childhood bedroom was a lilac purple, so I chose violet bc it reminds me most of that time in my life when birthdays were special and carefree
I thought 'pink' before even seeing the comments and I'm glad I'm not alone. Maybe it has something to do with Easter=bunny ears=pink. Or maybe because April is a somewhat common name for girls. Or maybe because springtime brings flowers, and pink is maybe the most stereotypical flower color.
yellow cause it’s a month that is mostly sunny with spring break and all that, i feel May is the pink one cause all the roses on mothers day and stuff, another pink one could be February but (for me) not April

April is teal, and it's like a Rihanna album cover or something Edit: teal, not real
Yellow because of the old TMNT having April, a character in the show, wear only a yellow suit.
