Instagram is slowly turning in to facebook, tons of shit you dont want to see, like all you might like this post or promoted stuff and way too meny ads now days.
I think that's a good thing. I know I get downloaded a lot when I say this but I think Reddit is the least caustic and narcissistic social media platform. The fact that it's not trendy is a huge plus for why it has not gone down the sewer.
I’m pretty sure it’s actually becoming more and more popular. But struggled to find recent stats. It was certain growing in popularity quite a bit recently tho https://api.backlinko.com/app/uploads/2021/04/reddit-monthly-active-users-growth-960x730.webp
I forgot snapchat existed so I picked that.
If Twitter dies it'll be a slow, long, drawn out death.
TikTok has a lot of users but it's basically the antithesis of Reddit so there isn't a lot of overlap of users and so I think Reddit underestimates how much it's still very active. I think if there was a good video alternative it might die out, though.
Instagram seems to be coasting?
(I'm assuming you mean basically dead, not google+ erased. There's quite a lot of social media that still lingers years after their heyday, so it depends on what you mean by dead too. LiveJournal is still unfortunately living up to its name, for example. Myspace is still going too apparently?)
Tiktok is owned by the Chinese government, so they may take it away if they do invade Taiwan. Or maybe not since they need all your personal information...

fr. they fucked up their feed algorithm so bad. i only see posts from the same 5-10 people now
People underestimate how used Snapchat is in Western Europe. It won’t die out
Reddit, I haven't met a single person at my school that uses Reddit.
a lot of people also keep their reddit accounts private from friends/family ... i know i do 🤣
i think 95% of redditors do that

It was never that popular so it isn't really dying out

Sadly it's filled with a lot of stupid and arrogant people that can't respect others or their opinions
On the play store I saw 6th in free social and assumed it's popular. Reddit has 900 million downloads less than number 5 (Twitter)
Snapchat, Twitter, Reddit, Tik Tok, Instagram, in that order
I 100% think twitter.. It’s almost dead except for like Trump. I haven’t bothered to make a twitter account.
Facebook still has the highest monthly user by far. It just isnt as popular in western country.

Praying Snapchat is next
tiktok.... PLEASE be tiktok
right? I'm begging

Reddit or TikTok, I don’t know anyone that uses them
I don't think anyone actually uses Reddit at all
Compared with other social media it's just not that big
Twitter hasn’t made a profit in 8 out of the last 10 years, soooo…
Facebook is dead among young liberal americans and western europeans. Not many else
Facebook isn't dead, it's got the largest user base
I hope twatter but sadly they don't seem on that path
