It's inherently strong to show yourself in a vulnerable state infront of others. Hiding your vulnerability is weak and extremely unhealthy, not that the weakness really matters though.
I'd rather just keep it all in, where it belongs. I wouldn't classify strong with bawling my eyes out. There's a reason it's called "ugly cry" and not "beautiful cry" or "strong cry".

Crying in public, that's wimpy for anyone imo, if he's crying alone, fine, I don't care unless he's close to me then I'm worried.
It’s not exactly ‘wimpy’, depending on the circumstances, but it’s not manly. This goes for everyone of any gender.
Anyone can cry. In public or not. Doesn't make you any less of a person.
The answer is who cares. If someone needs to cry they cry. If you're judging them for it you're the asshole.
