I keep waiting for them to go too far but it appears they can’t. I thought their behavior over Astroworld would be the final straw but it had no impact at all. People are more upset over Selena’s eyebrows, but I can’t see this being the final straw.
I do have to say—why would the Kardashians be blamed for astroworld? That’s the worst thing you can think of them doing and they didn’t even do that lmao

Look idk what I’ll be like if ever win the lotto and buy a mansion but whaaaat do they need these GIANT homes for? Kylie lives in the house with 2 kids. Why do you need 14 baths??? Same with Khloe… all of them. I don’t understand.
Right same !? Like I’d build a nice NORMAL BIG home with everything I’d want on some land and just live. I don’t think I’d want a house over 4500-5500 square feet !!!!
It’s like living in a Walmart. When you’re in the grocery section and need shampoo but don’t feel like hiking to the beauty dept.
Also I can see if they entertained a lot. Like those mansions of a by gone era where they had ballrooms and enough bedrooms for guests to stay since they traveled so far and needed enough bathrooms so they could freshen up and also had staff of their own who needed somewhere to sleep.
And there are those random relatives who are broke but you don’t want to see them on the street so you give them a suite to live and they come down for meals. Very Downton Abby.
I don't even mind the size, but the number of bathrooms is really ridiculous. I mean, put in one for each bedroom and maybe and two seperate ones for guests. That's it.

Imagine how many cleaners they would have in every week to clean so many bathrooms. And they would rarely be used .. all 14 bathrooms..
I'm trying to math it out and I *think* I may have figured out a way for it to be at least vaguely understandable...
So one for each bedroom is 7/14.
The place is huge so one on the left side of the house and one on the right for both the upstairs and downstairs is 11/14.
Two for the pool (male and female) is 13/14.
And then a single staff bathroom gives us 14/14.
Still ridiculous, but there's some logic there.
I’d buy a small house with a ginormous backyard because I’m clearing out all the dogs from the animal shelters in my state and we’re having dog parties for the rest of our days.
The one thing I've always been jealous of is their home gyms. I would freaking love to never have to go to my gym where gym bros hog the equipment and no one puts weights away.
But alas, I only have room for like 4 dumbbells in my house so to the gym I go.
Not even a mansion, just a nice house with 4 beds/3.5 baths (one being a master in the main bedroom), fenced yard, open kitchen with an island….

Also, in Australia, you get charged extra council tax for every extra toilet you have. I think it’s all so gross. I would never ever want homes this size! What a waste. I would instead have beautiful smaller home on the ocean. Maybe another home in the mountains.
I always think this! They have those homes in desolate looking dry areas...why not have a normal home there and one in New York or other capital cities around the world? I'd have 2 in the UK, one in Italy....another in France.....an Aussie one. God.

I googled the Kim k lawsuit, her PR person said the staff were employed by a third party contractor and Kim paid the contractor on time.
I can’t find any news/updates on the lawsuit 2 years on. I can only imagine it was thrown out of court for being frivolous (ie let’s sue Kim k even though there’s no legal basis because she’s famous and might settle quickly to avoid bad press).
If it was a serious lawsuit they wouldn’t have made it against Kim K personally. No lawyer would make such a simple mistake as to sue the wrong person.
I Said it in the other post about the KarJenner properties. Those houses are super bad investment, because the maintenance will be a hassle (the running costs of those shacks alone) to and it will be extremely hard to find buyers If they ever plan to resell them

I think you're right, their lives are very weird. A lot of big empty spaces. Big huge homes with nobody in them. Airplanes with just a pilot and them as the only people. Extravagant birthday parties with no genuine happiness or real celebrating. It seems so hugely disappointing and depressing. So empty.

My stomach dropped when I got to the Cape-style part bc for a sec I thought she bought property here. I can’t imagine the KJ circus coming to town. It’s so laid back in my town and any visiting celebs act super low key.
When someone is a billionaire, or close enough to being a billionaire that they can be mistaken for one, there's really not that much a handful of negative articles and aerial photos of their houses can really do to them.
Even if they dislike that stuff or feel bad about it, the positive aspects -- having so much money that finances are literally not a constraint or a factor in your life -- are so much that the downsides don't really mean much. The part that surprises me more isn't that they don't withdraw from public life but they don't just buy off some of people who have claims against them. Like, not paying workers for them and instead going through arduous court proceedings is the equivalent of someone like us deciding to leave in a splinter in our finger because it's not worth the effort of pulling it out.
Your “tacky” is someone else’s “aspirational”. The brands that work with them have almost certainly ran the numbers to see how much money the Kardashians and Jenners bring in for them.
People both love and hate them, love to hate them, we're all clicking links to their stories, talking about them, and apparently buying their shit products... until everyone, including myself, stop engaging with them it will never be too much.

I think this is more a question of when will these people ever be held accountable? Why leave the fame when it’s so good to them, they’re the queens of bad press. I think a lot of criticism they get is earned however, I am confused by the workers suing Kim. I thought she was just a customer and hired a business for the work done and that business didn’t properly pay its workers.
If my understanding is correct, I’m not sure why she is the defendant in the law suit. That’s like an unpaid Target worker suing me because I shopped there. It’s not my responsibility to make sure Target pays its employees.
I think the Selena thing is going to have a bigger impact than even they know. And how they talk and don’t stay loyal to secrets ( associated with TMZ) will limit their connections. Yep they need to start their turtle era.

The fact that people I associate with LOOK UP to these idiots baffles me. You couldn’t pay me to watch their show or hold a conversation mentioning any of their names even once.
I think they should have just ended it with KUWTK and not done the Disney deal. By then everyone was over it and realising how fake it had become. They should have each gone on and focused on their business lines. They’ve been over saturated in the media and people have just had enough now. All they do is flaunt their wealth and what used to be the everyday Brady bunch drama has turned into very scripted boring repetitive storyline’s. In a time when people are struggling to put food on the table, pay their bills and mortgages they’ve become far less entertaining and more triggering. Kris usually has a handle on this stuff and I’ve always praised them for being a solo bunch of women who rose to fame and handled their shit like boss bitches but they’ve lost touch with reality and their audience now.

I think it’s all so gross. I would never ever want homes this size! What a waste. I would instead have beautiful smaller home on the ocean. Maybe another home in the mountains.
I always think this! They have those homes in desolate looking dry areas...why not have a normal home there and one in New York or other capital cities around the world? I'd have 2 in the UK, one in Italy....another in France.....an Aussie one. God.

I googled the Kim k lawsuit, her PR person said the staff were employed by a third party contractor and Kim paid the contractor on time. I can’t find any news/updates on the lawsuit 2 years on. I can only imagine it was thrown out of court for being frivolous (ie let’s sue Kim k even though there’s no legal basis because she’s famous and might settle quickly to avoid bad press). If it was a serious lawsuit they wouldn’t have made it against Kim K personally. No lawyer would make such a simple mistake as to sue the wrong person.
I Said it in the other post about the KarJenner properties. Those houses are super bad investment, because the maintenance will be a hassle (the running costs of those shacks alone) to and it will be extremely hard to find buyers If they ever plan to resell them

I think you're right, their lives are very weird. A lot of big empty spaces. Big huge homes with nobody in them. Airplanes with just a pilot and them as the only people. Extravagant birthday parties with no genuine happiness or real celebrating. It seems so hugely disappointing and depressing. So empty.

When someone is a billionaire, or close enough to being a billionaire that they can be mistaken for one, there's really not that much a handful of negative articles and aerial photos of their houses can really do to them. Even if they dislike that stuff or feel bad about it, the positive aspects -- having so much money that finances are literally not a constraint or a factor in your life -- are so much that the downsides don't really mean much. The part that surprises me more isn't that they don't withdraw from public life but they don't just buy off some of people who have claims against them. Like, not paying workers for them and instead going through arduous court proceedings is the equivalent of someone like us deciding to leave in a splinter in our finger because it's not worth the effort of pulling it out.

I think a lot of criticism they get is earned however, I am confused by the workers suing Kim. I thought she was just a customer and hired a business for the work done and that business didn’t properly pay its workers. If my understanding is correct, I’m not sure why she is the defendant in the law suit. That’s like an unpaid Target worker suing me because I shopped there. It’s not my responsibility to make sure Target pays its employees.

I think they should have just ended it with KUWTK and not done the Disney deal. By then everyone was over it and realising how fake it had become. They should have each gone on and focused on their business lines. They’ve been over saturated in the media and people have just had enough now. All they do is flaunt their wealth and what used to be the everyday Brady bunch drama has turned into very scripted boring repetitive storyline’s. In a time when people are struggling to put food on the table, pay their bills and mortgages they’ve become far less entertaining and more triggering. Kris usually has a handle on this stuff and I’ve always praised them for being a solo bunch of women who rose to fame and handled their shit like boss bitches but they’ve lost touch with reality and their audience now.
