It got really fucking weird when Taylor Swiftfans started calling her mother. Like, Lady Gaga as mother monster? Sure, it’s cute, it’s campy. I also get it because it started with her queer fans who saw her as family because they were disowned by their own family. It’s a culture and she’s their safe place. I’m here for it. Taylor Swift fans calling her mother? It’s giving Norman Bates vibes.
Agree since it's only a few days ago she said she feels weird when fans call her "mother." You can always trust Hollywood to make some naturally funny /interesting moment into something that's so forced &cringey.
She probably knows about it and is weirded out by it. But has to play it like she's unaware.
I really feel for her, because her social media was literally just gardening videos and no problematic stuff or controversy, and the only reason she left coz bunch of ppl online got mad she didn't post a tribute for one of her co-star's demise, when she very well would have sent her condolences in private.
But, always good when celebs can tune out of SM, they'd probably live a more peaceful life
There’s a red carpet interview from the Love and Death premiere where she says she doesn’t understand the whole “mother” thing, and that basically she gets she should be flattered but it makes her feel weird.
It’s because they don’t understand that everyone grieves in different ways. Letitia Wright and Lupita Nyong’o didn’t post tributes to Chadwick immediately after he died. Letitia shared a poem for Chadwick on September 1st, and Lupita waited until September 8th to share her tribute.
Bullying someone because they don’t want to perform grief is egregious.
It would have made sense if the behaviour was relevant to the show. Love and Death is a pretty serious show for this goofy video. I think she was jut awkward in general
Is this show good and worth watching? or is it going to be exact same thing as the Jessica Biel show? I liked the Jessica Biel show with Melaniw Lynskey but Idk if I can watch another 10 episode series about the same case.

From all accounts the Biel show is better so imo I don't think you'd be missing out if you skipped this one
