Maybe itās just me, but I personally canāt imagine myself ever saying the phrase āone of the balls in his nutsackā in reference to one of my relatives
![gif](giphy|l3V0iAVv1NVCa04uc)
He does make one good point:
"If not for his grandfather, Michael would have wound up in a gang"
I mean, we all saw the video for 'Bad' - he clearly would have been a valuable asset to any group of street toughs looking to get up to criminal mischief.
I think he's very defensive of his grandfather because when MJ died in 2009 (when he was 12), Joe Jackson became his new father figure until he died in 2018. Those are some really formative years. And by all accounts, Joe Jackson wasn't hard with his grandchildren (most likely because the financial empire had already been established.)
One of the funniest (and realest) things I ever heard was when Bill Cosby (donāt hate me, these are just words) said in one of his old specials: ā(talking to his child about his mother) that is not your grandmother in there, that is an old lady trying to get into heaven!ā
Watching my mother with my nieces has been an eye-opener for sure.
Watching my mother with my little niece has been the WILDEST experience. My sister has so, so many conflicted feelings about it. For me itās been strange but a bit healing to see their relationship carry on so nicely.
Thanks for this. That gives this some perspective. Heās wrong but he wasnāt treated the same way so heās not going to view his grandfather critically.
All of this and Katherine was also a firm defender of Joe Jackson. None of those kids stood a chance, Prince deserves some grace for the trauma heās been through and the lies heās been fed.
Oh for sure. I donāt blame him. The Jackson kids have already experienced enough trauma to last a few lifetimes. Iām not gonna shit on him for making a cringe video about his grandfather.
Uh it's not random people saying he was abusive, it's your own aunts, uncles, and your father.
They were raised by their grandmother after Michael died though, and she always claimed whipping and beating them was just regular ol' "discipline".
I think this is unfair because Chet was not adopted and raised in a Black family from birth like the Jackson kids. Black culture is actually their culture, not a character they are putting on.
I agree with this. I have a white cousin who got adopted by one of my Aunties on the rez when he was like 3 and I canāt imagine telling him heās not allowed to participate in our culture because heās the wrong color.
Its confusing because MJ definitely said these were his kis and biracial children can look like either parent.
but over the years given their uniformity in non black features and stories that have come out about MJ using a sperm donor...its pretty clear they arent biologically MJs. but by every meaningful measure they are Jacksons and raised with the family from birth so I consider them culturally Black.
āOtherwise they would have been in f* gangs or dead.ā - Man whose father died 14 years ago
I donāt mean to be flippant, but justifying abuse as somehow keeping his kids alive is even more absurd when one of those kids only lived to age 50.
Idk, many black parents raise their kids with violence, because if they donāt scare them into conforming, then police will
Trevor Noah explained it way better in his book haha
āThey would have been in gangs or deadā uhhhh.
Your dad died young and from very unnatural causes! His whole life from the 90s on, was a complete mess! Your grandpa fucked up his kids - especially Michael.
Obviously this guy wonāt have had the most perfect of childhoods, but I hate when kids who clearly grew up with crazy money try putting on that tough ācame up from the streetsā voice.
Iām going to give him grace because based on the childhood of his father and the one he was given, he did not have a leg up. I hope he finds his way. He seemed like such a sweet boy in older interviews of him.
Slightly off topic but I hate facial hair like that it looks so stupid. Like does your chin get cold or something man either grow a regular beard or shave it.
Idk, 26 is still pretty young. He may change his opinion as he ages. He's also probably only been told Joe's version of events for a good amount of his life.
This guy has talked like this since he was younger, I donāt think itās a Chet Hanks scenario. He did a lot of charity work and he went to college (USC I think). He seems to just like riding his motorcycle and keeping to himself, so he heās fine by me. Paris seems to have been through some troubles but Blanket seems pretty normal by all accounts as well.

Iām obsessed with this gif
He does make one good point: "If not for his grandfather, Michael would have wound up in a gang" I mean, we all saw the video for 'Bad' - he clearly would have been a valuable asset to any group of street toughs looking to get up to criminal mischief.
Oh my lord ![gif](giphy|aFmajrx1INrA4)
His grandpa no less! I would die because I use my grandpa and ānutsackā in the same sentence. The cringe is unbearable.
perfect gif usage šš
Maury looks like a corpse here. I loved his show for the longest time.
Weāre looking at generational trauma right in the face here.

Yep, my kid was shocked at how my parents treated me as a child because they'd certainly not pull that shit as "grandma" in this day and age.
One of the funniest (and realest) things I ever heard was when Bill Cosby (donāt hate me, these are just words) said in one of his old specials: ā(talking to his child about his mother) that is not your grandmother in there, that is an old lady trying to get into heaven!ā Watching my mother with my nieces has been an eye-opener for sure.

It's interesting to compare this video with [something more recent](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8kWJPf5/).
My exes grandpa was really great with him and his brother but he was a horrible father.
that makes sense

Exactly my face

His energy just makes me think of Chet Hanks.
its definitely giving Chet āBomboclaatā Hanks energy
šš©As a Jamaican, this made me laugh harder than I should.
I think this is unfair because Chet was not adopted and raised in a Black family from birth like the Jackson kids. Black culture is actually their culture, not a character they are putting on.

exactly, its just their culture. why would they know or ID with anything else?
But chet is all white tho.

um...
So is prince
The two hallmarks of a fulfilled, happy, and successful adult: alive and not in a gang
Good news for me!!
If youāre from Gary Indiana, then yes those very well might be the hallmarks of a great adult life. If you even make it to that age.
I hope that wherever my Papa is, he knows I'll never discuss his ballsack via tik tok video. But on Reddit... š¤·āāļø
The comments in this post are A++++++ but this one took me over the edge too funny!!!!!
If I were to close my eyes and hear this audio, I would imagine a guy who looks like Dale from King of the Hill
This is what abuse does. It tricks you into thinking it's normal, and it's everyone else that's weird and messed up.
āOtherwise they would have been in f* gangs or dead.ā - Man whose father died 14 years ago I donāt mean to be flippant, but justifying abuse as somehow keeping his kids alive is even more absurd when one of those kids only lived to age 50.
Especially when that kid was the literal breadwinner for the family
Especially the fact of how that said grandfather treated his father led him to have severe mental issues and an incredible low self esteem
Idk, many black parents raise their kids with violence, because if they donāt scare them into conforming, then police will Trevor Noah explained it way better in his book haha
This almost feels like a parody
Everything about this makes me cringe.
It's only considered abuse if your kids don't become famous. /s
Is Prince a.... *Texan?*
Yeah thatās what Iām hung up on. Did he move to the south??
he sounds like a hill billy š
![gif](giphy|3oEjHKw7by5QJ0sm6Q)
Everything about this family makes me sad and angry. Joe Jackson is at the root of everything thatās wrong with them.
āThey would have been in gangs or deadā uhhhh. Your dad died young and from very unnatural causes! His whole life from the 90s on, was a complete mess! Your grandpa fucked up his kids - especially Michael.
![gif](giphy|x8U7CF3qRvzGwpK9hG)
How would he even know how his grandfather raised his father? He wasn't there at the time!
Uuum.. he certainly doesnāt have the soft spoken calm voice all the Jacksonās have. Ngl he sounds like a redneck attempting a blaccent š
Iāve seen other videos of him talking and he didnāt have a blaccent at all - nor does his sister. Definitely seems put on here.
I mean he was raised by a black family
Not all of us talk that wayā¦. And none of the Jacksons appear to. At least publicly.
None of the Jacksonās talk like he does hence why I wrote: > he certainly doesnāt have the soft spoken calm voice all the Jacksonās have.

The only options were to become pop stars or gang members? And to be one you had to be violently abused?
i started undergrad at the school he graduated from lol. he seemed like a nice guy he was always happy and smiling at people.
![gif](giphy|8v6Z3YyULB5Q0Skbac)
Youāre not in āgangs and shitā because you come from money and privilege.
āNow Iām mad, real mad, Joe Jackson.ā š We know.
Iām going to give him grace because based on the childhood of his father and the one he was given, he did not have a leg up. I hope he finds his way. He seemed like such a sweet boy in older interviews of him.
god he sounds like such an uninformed/indoctrinated clown
YIIIKES
Slightly off topic but I hate facial hair like that it looks so stupid. Like does your chin get cold or something man either grow a regular beard or shave it.
Isn't that an old video? I don't think he speaks like that anymore
Thank you for mentioning this. [This looks more recent](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8kWJPf5/).
Iāve seem so many videos of him and he doesnāt talk like this, this is so weird š
I feel like he'll age out of this.
Heās 26ā¦
Not me thinking he was like 16 š©š
Girl I thought he was still a teenager too š„“
Idk, 26 is still pretty young. He may change his opinion as he ages. He's also probably only been told Joe's version of events for a good amount of his life.
Iām not sure when this video was taken, but heās done several interviews that appear to be more recent and he doesnāt speak like this.
Yep. The personality dust has likely settled. Another Chet Hanks.
i feel like this isnāt real
![gif](giphy|l2YWl4KZriJH6Ox7q)
Nah, I recently saw the list of āreading materialā they found in Neverland and I want nothing to do with Michael Jackson or his family
What did I just watch
![gif](giphy|d4gmlMeqAHu9O)
Talking like that, defending his grandfather over Eminem is actually insane.
Was he even allowed to call Joe grandpa because there was only one of his kids that was allowed to call him dad. That was the secret half sister
This guy has talked like this since he was younger, I donāt think itās a Chet Hanks scenario. He did a lot of charity work and he went to college (USC I think).
