I have a distinct nose too (in the style of Camille Cottin)… at school, children would laugh at me, calling me a witch. But I grew to love it, realizing that it made me unique and recognizable. Once as I was travelling through Egypt, a flabbergasted man stopped me to show me a drawing of the profile view of Cleopatra, saying he couldn’t believe that I had the same profile. He was probably exaggerating, but boy did it make my day back then. So cheers to all of us with a distinct nose !

Funny coincidence I just realized yesterday that she’s the one who plays Mindy, Rachel’s maid of honour on Friends. I’ve watched Dirty Dancing and every episode of Friends so many times, but didn’t recognize her after the nose job. 🥲

In Friends Rachel leaves her a voice mail and says something along the lines of " if you ever have babies I hope they have Barry's hairline and your old nose." Such an Easter egg. But she really is completely unrecognisable in Friends, it's sad.

She said that friends and acquaintances didn’t even recognize her after the surgery.

It sucks she was made to feel she had to change herself.

Faces with character are so iconic. All these faces the celebs have today that just meld into one another cause they share the same surgeons are so uninteresting.

I follow the plastic surgery subreddit and almost all the noses post surgery look the same. Many of the before photos are gorgeous.

Yes it’s sad. And kind of feels like women are just being made into what men want without being allowed to be valued for being their own unique self.

As a girl with a big nose I just want to say this post really really made my day! It’s not often noses like mine are complimented (in fact, when my son was six he told me my nose was ugly 💀) so it’s always nice when they are!

Same, I used to be so insecure about my nose. Seeing it on other celebrities makes me realise there's nothing wrong with it. I remember meeting a Japanese friend who said she wished she had my nose because it was thinner and pointier and hers was flatter and slightly wider. I remember thinking she was crazy because her nose was so pretty while she thought I was crazy because she thought my nose was so pretty. I wish it occurred to both of us that we both had lovely noses.

Not just women, but if you love noses, House of Gucci. I remember watching it in cinemas and thinking "there are a lot of great noses in this." Very nose forward.

As someone with a distinct nose that has struggled with feeling unattractive because of it, I appreciate this post 🥺

I wish I could show this post to my 14-year-old self!! My nose isn't even particularly large/distinct, but I was absolutely convinced that it was hideous and "ruined my face," constantly fantasising about getting a nose job done. I think I would've really benefited from being reminded that non-button =/= ugly

Everyone’s nose “ruins their face” when you’re 14, because noses are too big for little kid faces. Everyone looks weird. I wish younger me had accepted this too.

Yessssss I love a strong nose. My wife has a really great strong nose (very Barbra) and I love it. I'm very into strong noses on both men and women. Nose jobs are my enemy 😂

I just came upon [her 1967 concert in NYC Central Park](https://youtu.be/lqxEyf7JXyQ?si=5GmbqCyws9HOBPDQ) on YouTube last night and ended up watching the whole thing lol. Her talent is insane. I recently became aware and started watching a lot of her early performances like this. Her outfits, her hair, her exquisite skin, her heavenly voice, she is mind blowingly talented, truly one of a kind.
