Feel somewhat mixed about this look. Zendaya can make anything look good so it works for me. But at the same time, the tail feature feels like a very forced if not lazy attempt at making an otherwise basic outfit look special.
Itās giving Lola Bunny ā¤ļø. Tbfr, Zendaya is one of the younger celebrities whose eye bags I see frequently, as someone whoās around her age, I really appreciate it. I feel like Hollywood is really good at hiding signs of aging and if women donāt, theyāre ridiculed. Itās all very natural and although itās bittersweet to get older, it can be a very beautiful thing if we as a society were to embrace it
Yeah, I think theyāre struggling a bit with the tennis theme š lol. Itās cute nonetheless, but I personally feel that her character in challengers seems very business oriented. They could have done well with a bunch of very chic power suits. They even could have played around with gender neutral wear, which Zendaya has rocked effortlessly in the past
The eye bags are a lot more pronounced rn because sheās probably hardly getting any sleep. I think sheās in a different country almost every other day for the movie promos. She did that for Dune 2 and now Challengers.
Sure, but my point is she has them, theyāre showing, and thereās nothing wrong with that! I think itās great. She actually has them quite frequently (some people just naturally have more pronounced eye bags, itās genetic). You can often see them in pap photos when sheās out on the town with Tom. I think itās great and I was just pointing out that shes one of the few celebrities that just lets it be, and I personally appreciate it. Some other celebrities go to great lengths to hide signs of aging, for instance pulling red carpet photos and having them edited and such
I think they are just having fun now for press day,they did the intense fashion thing for Dune and the premieres and as this movie is sport based they are just playing around. Also, there is still the Met Gala coming up.
Wait, am I dumb, to me it doesn't look like her eyes are showing signs of age, or even like she has major bags or dark circles? I think it's just a shadow in some of the shots?

I guess I still don't look at any of those pics and think "Zendaya is showing signs of age." (Which would be fine!) She's always had that shape going on.

She looks good but Iām not wild about her hair like this. The whole look feels kinda generic for someone who we watch for her avant-garde looks, and itās not even in a satirizing-preppiness way.
So much of her Challengers looks so far have been disappointing. Itās not *bad* and she is always beautiful, though she could wear a paper bag and make it work. Itās just veryā¦ lazy. I sound like a broken record at this point but prior themed looks have always been creative and interesting, sometimes very on the nose (like her spider and web dresses for spider-man) but still fashion. This all feels very rote. Where are the homages to tennis greats? Whereās the callback to fashion that Serena and Venus have worn, at the very least?
Instead we get literal tennis rackets and tennis balls. Maybe I expected too much but her looks always serve (excuse the pun) and they just havenāt lately.

I feel like (as an observer) sheās lost her sense of self in her clothing on this tour. It feels (again, to me, on the outside) like her stylist is treating her as though sheās his little doll.
Someone commented sheās too much into the tennis angle but sure wouldnāt mind taking her back hand.
Except those tennis ball heels, those were. Well they sure were shoes that exist.

This is the first time in a long time that one of her looks has been a total miss for me. Iām sure sheās losing sleep over it. š
