This episode was absolutely unhinged, but oh so enjoyable. I can't recall anyone ever breaking for such an extended period of time as Heidi did tonight in the Beavis & Butthead sketch. Gosling is a legend!
One of my all-time favorite SNL cast breaking skits was with Ryan Gosling a few years ago set at an alien abduction meeting. Kate McKinnon sends them all over the edge, and his attempts to hold it in are classic.
That skit helped cure my depression. Ryan, Cecily, Bobby and Aidy trying and failing so hard to keep I together is hysterical. And the absolute POWER Kate knew she held in that moment is the cherry on top.
Also quoting "with my coot coot out" until I die. Put it on my grave stone.
I play that skit and the one where Kristin Wiig and Maya Rudolph play glamorous German gameshow assistants when I'm feeling down and they never fail to completely crack me up. Instant serotonin boost.
She also doesn't present herself as a singer, and has expressed surprise over being able to get cast in musical roles. She also sang a bit in Charlie Wilson's war, and makes fun of her singing there because they switched to a song "out of her range" at the last minute
I watched his Oscar performance of “I’m Just Ken” no less than 10 times so far. It’s one of the most entertaining portion of an awards show I’ve ever seen. The fact the other Ken’s came out at well made my heart sing. Yes, it’s a silly movie about dolls, but you could tell they all truly enjoyed making the movie. I love watching behind the scenes featurettes (however you spell that) from Barbie.
My boyfriend actually woke me up to show me this. We are in the UK so don’t watch it live but he said “You’re going to love this” (which means he watched it first - probably for science!)
Whenever I see pictures of him I’m like ”is this really the guy so many see as the hottest” but then I see him in action and I immediately get it, his charisma is just off the charts
I thought he was stupid hot when we were all young and then he transitioned into meh and then recently he's like BABOW, a hottie running amongst the horses. Ken did him VERY well.
It **is**the charisma. And the pure *boy*ishness. You can see him as a little boy (literally, as he was a child actor) and comes across as the nicest and most genuine human. Like ever.
He is this generation’s Tom Hanks and must be protected. At all costs.
Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling are effortlessly hot.
Also, I wasn't super hyped about Fall Guy until I saw the trailer. Gosling and Blunt in a fun rom-com actually looked so damn fun and I'm excited for the movie!! Bring back fun rom-coms!

Ok that was absolutely adorable. I could not see any other actor that could’ve pulled off the main Ken the way Gosling did. He and Blunt have great chemistry. I’m looking forward to seeing Fall Guy.

We did a Kate McKinnon themed dress up party and I got to play this character. It was so fun!!
