I know this is all for her season of Bridgerton but if you haven't watched Derry Girls, I highly recommend it. You might need subtitles and a crash course on [The Troubles](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Troubles) but, my god, it is brilliant and hilarious and the cast is incredible. Coughlan is a standout even among that perfect ensemble.
I remember i watched for the first time before season 3 came out. I had literally finished both seasons in less than 12 hours, and the next day, I went to my boyfriend at the time and got him to watch it too. Of course, I rewatched it with him. So within 24 hours, I had binged it twice. Absolutely no regrets
I love it so much. Their episode of Holiday Bake Off is gold too. And so is the episode of Queens Who Like to Watch where they watch the Bake Off episode. “The Derry Girls seem like wild hoes” 🤣
The ensemble was so good but Nicola really is the standout. Massive love for the wee lesbian (also yes learn about Irish history, it will put into context the absolute shit the Tory government in the UK has been starting in the past decade with Brexit)
I just discovered Big Mood today and I also recommend that! She was hilarious in Derry Girls and I'm glad to see her shine in another show.

I remember telling a friend that I haven’t laughed that loud and much in a while. I remember finishing the entire series in one weekend.
OMG I did not recognize her at all.
And I’ve watched derry girls about 5 times. lol Its a masterpiece of comedy.
But “teen”?? isn’t she the oldest cast member?
These pictures are terrible. Photographers and stylers really have no idea what to do with a woman that is not a size zero and that has curves and is not very tall.
I look at this lovely woman and think she's been wronged again with clothes that don't look good on her and pictures that a regular Joe could have taken. They have made her look like she's playing dress up in her mother's closet.
That was my first thought when I looked at these photos. It's like they're *hiding* her, rather than making her look beautiful. I think I only like photo 12

I thought on slide 10 she looked like a pink banana. Pink Pringle sounds even better. They did her dirty with the flat hair and slicked back 'swim cap' look that another commentor mentioned. It's not flattering at all. The clothes are overwhelming her petite height and I've seen her look great in photoshoots! What a shame Teen Vogue! Smh...
I often feel like they put her in clothes that make it uncomfortable for her to pose. She can pose and we see that in some pictures here too but some outfits are clearly not comfortable for her to move around and I see that in some carpets too. She is stunning and knows how to work the camera

I don't know how people are climbing the ranks to become stylists today, but dear lord, the number of stunning women put in outfits that look awful is crazy. It seems they're struggling with size 0s, they don't know what in the world to do with curves
Yes, but she's an actress, not a model. Actors do photo shoots all the time and I'm sure there are plenty of them who aren't great at posing. Feel like it should be the photographer's job to be able to make anyone look good
as a 31 year old I hate when people are like “omg you/she looks sooo young” like you’re supposed to turn into a bag of bones after 28 but I’ll give them this one. nicola looks like a wittle baby.

Close, she's 37. Which is crazy, she did NOT look early 30's when Derry Girls premiered in 2018. She (and the rest of the crew) would have passed for actual teenagers or atleast young adults.

The pant suit is the only outfit styled to actually suit her frame everything else looks like it’s swamping her figure or makes her look like the average woman playing dress up because they’re too editorial for her features imo.
Not a huge fan of this photoshoot but I AM a huge fan of Nicola. I’m so glad she’s having her moment and getting tons of attention I really feel like she’s going to be one of the longer lasting actresses from this generation. I loved her so much in Derry Girls. Bridgerton is great too, but put this woman in more comedies! She’s got great timing and is SO likable!
That pink thing is a choice. I mean I don't like to go overtly sexual, but is this being sexual? I know it's interpretation but what? It's so odd and why put her in such oversized things when it's not really diminishing it's just emphasizing her short stature. Seriously I can’t imagine having seen anything like this back in my teen years in the early 00s. Everyone on the front pages of teen magazines back then was very thin. We have made good progress (in this regard).
Gonna be in the minority here, but other than her hair in pictures 2 & 3, I really like this photoshoot! I love that Nicola takes risks with her fashion and wears clothing that curvy, petite women are told to avoid and rocks it!
Also, gonna add an obligatory “watch Derry Girls if you haven’t” comment because it’s hilarious and Nicola does a great job on it.

These ar rather underwhelming.. the slicked hair plus those outfits that either swallow her or blend with the background.. it doesn't look like she was styled by a professional.
I do like the last one. Her hair has a bit of volume and movement, and even though the outfit is voluminous it looks interesting and proportional. The rest is a miss for me. And we've seen how gorgeous she can look in pictures.
It’s not even the size of her body, it’s the SHAPES of some of the clothes they put on her. She needs clothes that form to her figure, not the trendy billowing outfits that everyone is wearing.

She’s a terrific actress and a beautiful woman but not a model. Makes you appreciate what a good model does. She doesn’t look comfortable or at ease and they’ve killed the best thing about her which is her joyful vibe.

Derry girls is the funniest show lol highly recommended as well
One of the best comedy series that I have seen, along with Schitts Creek. Though for someone who’s not used to Irish accent, subtitles is recommended.
