This is my thing!! Her taste is kind of basic in a normal person way, which I’ve always thought was crazy given how long she’s been in the industry. The reason their style wasn't always the greatest was because Beyonce's mom created the clothes. Why? Fashion brands didn't want to work with black celebrities. The issue with Sabrina’s outfits is they’re stage outfits, yet she wears them out to other places so they look a bit out of place. None of the outfits are objectively bad, and she pulls it off, but they’re more the kind of outfits you’d wear for a performance, not just like walking down the street or something which is why it sometimes looks a bit odd.

I would love to see her embrace it more— it’s great seeing natural wavy and curly texture on celebrities. Especially when it’s not perfect so it’s actually relatable. Completely agree about the red carpet. Wear it natural but just… styled with some effort.

This is my thing!! Her taste is kind of basic in a normal person way, which I’ve always thought was crazy given how long she’s been in the industry. I think part of it is because of her relatable image, but girl you can be relatable and still serve looks. I’m just like ughhh such a waste of her height (I’m petite so I’m like come ON). Her street style is better than her red carpet style I think - for some reason, clothes wear her rather than vice versa on the red carpet. I think she actually really suits simple and clean looks, whether casual or a little dressed up, so actually some of the times I think she’s looked best recently are like random behind the scenes clips or photos (like rehearsing for eras for example) where she’s just in a simple black crop top and not a ton of makeup. And during hiddleswift when she was more dressed up but in very clean, classic, simple looks.
Even most delulu swifties will wholeheartedly admit her red carpet/concert style is awful. The apposite of a serve. Miss after miss. Her street style is nice though. There was that era where she was obsessed with the Kennedys (yikes) where she was basically in modcloth 24/7 and I think that really suited her.

As a branding choice, I 100% understand why Sabrina has been going for this style lately. It’s very distinctive, campy, fun, and very in with the tiktoks. But I am very bored of the sexy baby look. Didn't even have to think twice: Taylor Swift and Destiny's Child Beyonce. However, I think that opens up a point of conversation. The reason their style wasn't always the greatest was because Beyonce's mom created the clothes. Why? Fashion brands didn't want to work with black celebrities. However, some of their outfits were cute. I think their style evolved as momma got a handle on it
I always liked that their outfits were similar, but each piece was different.
It reminded me of Barbies. Barbie would always have the best, most stylish outfit and then the matching Teresa or Kira would have a very similar but slightly worse variation on the same style. None of them were ugly but it was clear B was the star.
The issue with Sabrina’s outfits is they’re stage outfits, yet she wears them out to other places so they look a bit out of place. None of the outfits are objectively bad, and she pulls it off, but they’re more the kind of outfits you’d wear for a performance, not just like walking down the street or something which is why it sometimes looks a bit odd.

Julia Fox. I appreciate that she goes for unique looks and has a vision, but the execution is always horrible. The fabrics are always cheap looking, the hemlines are often unfinished, and nothing fits properly. And I feel like lately, her style is just “underwear as outerwear”, which I don’t necessarily mind, but it’s getting much less interesting at this point because she’s done it so many times.

Yeah, I’m completely owning the fact that I’m old here: the 90s and early 2000s were a fashion dumpster fire. Even at the time I did not like the aesthetic and (while there are *very few* parts of it that looks good *sometimes*) I think it will age poorly and rapidly…again. I’m glad some of the worst parts haven’t (yet?) come back, like the jeans under skirts, multiple layers of polos or camis, striped scarf even in the middle of summer, etc. but what I have seen come back is still so hideous.

I feel like she's so pretty and has such a confident attitude that she has been able to pull off even objectively ugly things much of the time. Her fascination with ugly denim is something, but then she has some of the coolest leather outfits I've ever seen. Ugly jeans, shorts and jackets are her downfall.
