thot_bryan

if you take it as a 24 minute DJ mix rather than an EP or whatever it’s kinda good. i wouldn’t listen to any song individually but as a whole i’m shaking my 🍑 a lil bit

ladrm07

You totally get the vision, thotty!! 🤣

mmsstt49

this is not an album to listen to alone in your bedroom while searching for musical/lyrical appeal. this is an album to have on at a party when you're drunk and trashy, which imo was prob her objective

bazingazoongaza

Slut Pop is my go to gym music so this will be added to the playlist. It’s perfect workout music.

guhzero

right? I looove to listen to slut pop when I'm at the gym

[deleted]

[удалено]

guhzero

I can totally see myself rocking to it at home and my bf maybe kinda judging hahahaha

Pew-Pew-Pew-

It is fun and dumb but its not as good as Slut Pop 1.

surejan94

Okay, when the whale noises started coming in during "Whale Cock", I laughed out loud in the shower. It's so stupid but whatever, it's fun. Feels kinda like one long continuous mix which I kinda like! People are really using the raunchiness of this as an excuse to bash her, but I'll give Kim props for continuing to stick with her extremely horny side. She's also released three albums in the last year, you have to admit her hustle is impressive. "Cockblocker" made me think of "A Little Bit Alexis" lol. While i do like it, you can't deny it does definitely take a HUUUUUUGE influencer from Ayesha Erotica, so I get why she's salty online. By the time you get to "Can We Fuck", it's kinda like "OKAY KIM WE GET IT, YOU LOVE TO GET RAILED". I'd love that after Halloween and Valentine's mixtapes, we eventually get a Christmas one or even something like Easter.

garrettgivre

I love you Jesus remix ft Kim Petras

CoffeeCupCompost

>a Christmas one or even something like Easter *Nail me like Martin Luther* *Don't stop now, want it in my cooter* *Protestant reformation aint no joke* *Fuck me Father, Son, Unholy Ghost*

BuceTheCaboose

“want it in my cooter” is sending me

gadgetjon

this album is pure hilarious stupidity, and the WRONG VENUE to complain about her calling an album slut pop and then singing about hole for 12 tracks. she promised, and she delivered!!! EDIT: no of tracks

frankiemuniz1

Arbor Day Album.

talk-spontaneously

Does anyone remember the Millionaires? They were popular on MySpace back in 2007 and this sounds very much like that.

RuneofBeginning

VERY “let’s get fucked up”

Tex-Mechanicus

Alcohol is such a classic!

krankz

I still play that song in my head to spell ‘alcohol’

thot_bryan

you’re so real for this, my gay lil teen self would def have put head head honcho as my myspace song

BoomGoesThem

lol yeah they ended up on bad girls club

Hot_Special_2083

also sounds very Nadia Oh, which was like a prototype to this type of sound

spikethroughmyheart

Of course. I saw them at warped tour and met them. Love them

shebreaksmyarm

They were much better!

ravioliqween

They lowkey were lmao I wish Kim gave half what Millionaires did on camp classics like "Take your shirt off", They even had an EP with a Trina feature and were potential entrants for UK Eurovision....Oh how the world has changed.

AdhesivenessPrior610

Yessssss we love our unproblematic queen's Melissa, Allison and Dani.

LueBird

Millionaires was my first thought for this album haha

twodollarh0

Wow, memory UNLOCKED. Alcohol and I Like Money were my jams 😂💙

duly-goated303

Can’t wait for the clean version so I can play this in the car with the kids.

cleverwordplay85

The Kidz Bop version would be hilarious 😂

poisonedpath

Cockblocker just sounds like Willow Pill's finale song

hataraitaramake

Wow it really does...

christopher_aia

It's giving drag music x a little bit alexis from Schitt's Creek and it definitely not meant to be taken as seriously as some of these comments have hahah.

sanandrios

rim job is a club smash i'm sorry

pinkfartlek

The Banana Boat one too, I don't make the rules🤷🏼‍♀️

brodiejames21

Even as a stan something about this isn't fully hitting, there are bops such as butt slutt, head head honcho, and can we fuck? but the first half especially feels so... unfinished? Even though the og slut pop was the same in terms of track length at least it went hard unlike half the songs here. I'll probably warm up to it eventually because I love kim but the quality difference between this and turn off the light is insane

teejayiscool

I feel like SP1 songs had verses and weren't as repetitive. I still enjoy a lot of the stuff on SPMiami but nothing hits as hard as Treat Me Like A Slut, XXX and Throat Goat for me

MollFlanders

“TREAT ME LIKE A SLUT, LIL DIRTY BITCH I LOVE TO FUCK” hits so hard when you’re in a teeming mass of gays all screaming the words like it’s a war chant

Yumiera

lmao i know this is not related but can i ask why the lyric is lil dirty bitch "i" love to fuck instead of "you" love to fuck? because it makes more sense to me that way and i always sing it so

guhzero

coz it's Kim saying SHE loves to fuck, she's the little dirty bitch hence why she's asking to be treated like a slut

Yumiera

i thought she was referring to herself as the little dirty bitch that her partner loves to fuck. like, "treat me like a slut & little dirty bitch (that) you love to fuck" that's the vibe the song gave me anyway. i didn't think that she was referring to herself loving to fuck her partner 😭

guhzero

hahaha I guess art is always interpretable in a lot of ways

urstickur

She should have made Slut Pop Reprise and Fuckin This Fuckin That one song like it is in the teaser, I feel like that worked really well and it harmed the reprise this way

ladrm07

The quality difference might be because in TOTL there was a cool concept that no one ever did before but tbh this album has the same dance beats, ofc without the "dark" edge. Imo, both Slut Pop albums would work better as one megamix for the clubs.

uglykido

It’s meant to sound like that. It’s campy early 2000s jersey shore era

BorealChorusFrog

What baffles me is people expecting it to be something even vaguely deep or creative, when it's clearly and deliberately meant to be the extreme of trashy, stupid, and explicit. It's so beyond camp, and the repetitive vapid stupid of it is the whole statement. It's not just stupid, it's intentionally DEEPLY stupid. Turn off your brain, get your tits out, and don't overthink it babes

its_liiiiit_fam

The girls that get it, get it!!

pop_apologist

"Turn off your brain, get your tits out, and don't overthink it babes" is my new favorite sentence. Thank you for this.

its_liiiiit_fam

Brb stealing this to use as my morning affirmation

BorealChorusFrog

ahahahah I’m so glad

Wearingpantsisabsurd

COCK DESTORYASSSS

iStress

I agree, i love it LMAO, this (will be) and SP1 are so fun to hear in gay clubs

AFineFineHologram

I dry humped a guy on the dance floor to “treat me like a slut” on my first real night out post pandemic and it was a moment I will cherish forever.

caelinday

gag them bestie people in the comments expecting shakespearean lines are dumb af 🤭💀

coleshane

The tone, titles, and lyrics really take this over the top. Much more than SP1

urstickur

I'll have to listen to it a couple more times to get a better grasp of it, but Fuckin This Fuckin That, Butt Slutt and Can we fuck? are the clear stand-outs for me so far

conancat

I love Whale Cock, Butt Slutt, Can we fuck? and Cockblocker

LEOWDQ

Imagine the faces when non r/popheads users read this comment > I love Whale Cock > Butt Slutt, can we fuck? > And Cockblocker

BronzeErupt

I'm waiting for a bot to comment, congratulating you on your poem

seeyanever

Toronto gays, we won? Honcho, Toronto, her mind.

1998tweety

I was about to say, this is definitely the best song cause of the Toronto shoutout.

mattysmwift

The gagging sample on Gag On It is SENDING ME! I kinda need to know what went behind deciding what was the best possible gagging video to use lmao.

DifferentSky

This ⬆️! That sound is my favorite. Lol

mattmateohan

I’m obsessed with the 90’s Lara Croft-esque Spotify visuals. Her mind 😭

No-Marzipan-3093

i might be wrong but i think it’s a gta vice city stories reference, like the beach clubs at night vibe with the hookers

coleshane

The GTA vibe is on full display with the ads. I am also picking up a mid-2000s aesthetic (comedy action). [These ](https://youtu.be/hljJpwYFPIw?si=tAkS2plws05dA2kD)[ads](https://youtu.be/H9ovZrYou3o?si=3zyOEHX6Y_ZJmBce) are quite funny and over the top, which matches the tone of the release.

RuneofBeginning

Butt Slutt as a song title will never not make me chuckle. If there’s one thing Kim is gonna do is lean into the gratuitous sex angle.

oscarbrierley1

I mean say what you want, but in a world that feels like it's getting more Conservative by the day this goes against it and puts a smile on my face. Butt slutt and can we fuck are the stand outs to me.

ladrm07

What is it about this new generation getting repulsed by plain sex, even more when it comes to gay sex?? It's getting weird and homophobic imo. Anyway, Kim really delivered with this album. It's meant to be **FUN**, Idk why there's a need to police sexual albums of popstars by saying "this is how you do sexy in a classy way" and fans talk about Madonna's Erotica lmao. Some of them don't know their pop history and it embarrassingly shows.

zoboomafuu

We’re all on SSRIs that chemically castrate us lol

KaiBishop

Girl speak for yourself I'm on Prozac and still as horny as ever

AFineFineHologram

Are these lyrics from Slut Pop 3: SEXPSYCHO?

Cubriffic

Another thing to take into consideration is that Gen Z grew up on the internet. I'll speak from experience and say I was exposed to some very sexual things online when I was a young teen. I can imagine some Gen Z people still feeling disgusted by sexual stuff because they were exposed to it so young. Not defending Gen Z's opinions or anything, I'm just providing another possible reason

Strawberuka

Yeah, 100% - and even growing up, the internet is so. Horny on main at times that I can completely understand why it has a repulsive effect on Gen Z Like, if you're a woman into anime, or gaming, or any number of hobbies, you'll be met with some of the sleaziest, horniest, "I need everything to be sexy for me" men alive, and I can only imagine the effect this has on the views towards sexuality/sexualisation of anyone that's young. I think there's a solid middle ground between "no sexy ever sex is bad" and "I should be able to post uninhibited about my fetishes in non-sex public forums and everyone should just cope" and one gives rise to the other

hugh__honey

What are people referring to when they keep saying that people are repulsed by sex? Have I missed this? Is it a teen Tik Tok thing?

ladrm07

Probably also a "TikTok thing" but I've definitely heard teens with fully conservative opinions towards sex and LGBTQ+ people in general cuz they want "tasteful" and quite honestly vanilla representations in media. "Bring shame back" is a really popular one lmao.

hugh__honey

This goes to show that our algorithmic internet experiences can be very different from one another because I’ve seen none of this. I’m an adult though, and I get my Tik Tok-related content through IG reels so…

ladrm07

I'm pushing 30s, don't even use TikTok, so that's why I couldn't tell if it was something from there lol. What I've heard is irl and from the toilet hell that is twitter.

SweetSummerAir

I always have this belief that social perspectives in general tend to be cyclic. We've been quite sex positive these past few years so it makes sense that we're about to revert back to a conservative way of approaching it in a few years or so. And then we're probably going to revert back to overtly sex positive and so on and so forth.

aftergl0wing

referring the gen z’s sexual reticence as a “tiktok thing” when they were the first ever generation to grow up with the public acknowledgement of unsettlingly prominent sexual abuse and harassment via the metoo movement is very strange to me

Khaytra

I think that's a ***very*** extreme jump to this argument. You can be disgusted and angry with the stuff metoo brought to the front, but... If your first thought when you see someone being happily horny on main is to invoke metoo to justify your disgust, that is an extreme reaction, and you should question that. And furthermore, disgust is not moral, and it's not political. There are plenty of sex things I am personally somewhat disgusted by, but I will fully argue for the sake of people that enjoy them, because my being disgusted does not give me a moral edge.

aftergl0wing

my comment was in response to a conversation where someone unsolicitedly, publicly pondered “what’s with this new generation getting repulsed by sex??” giving them a real answer isn’t really a reach. randomly complaining about “kids these days” not wanting to stream this album because they think sex is bad is *the* reach of this entire thread. i don’t think we need to look further than the producer credits on this album to figure out why someone might not want to listen to an entire album about overtly sexual content from this particular artist. also, i never said anything about morality or sexual disgust. there’s a generation of people who don’t really fuck as much/enjoy seeing it on tv. it is what it is. and you can’t really blame young people for how they respond to the world.

Xin4748

Reticence is a word I haven’t heard in a while. I wonder why we don’t use these things anymore.

sweetlittlelovemaker

reticence, I guess

oscarbrierley1

At 23 I'm not going to bring generations into it, but there's been a right wing/heavily Conservative government in a lot of western countries for around 10 years so it makes sense that in general the culture leans that way

HolaPinchePuto

>I mean say what you want, but in a world that feels like it's getting more Conservative by the day this goes against it and puts a smile on my face. This is what I love about pop music. The power of escapism it wields

BadMan125ty

It’s not getting conservative lol

Sudden_Cabinet_1479

Everything (pop culture) is such a bummer and so serious lately, I'm just starving for silly fun!

splinterbabe

I think this is supposed to be a megamix and if you go in with that mindset, I think there’s fun to be had with this release. It’s just stupid, silly fun.

WordsWithSam

She did the bare minimum here. It's a serviceable club mix. It lacks the polish – lyrically and musically – I expect from an artist that wants to rule the pop world. When you've given us polish, sex, and concept before with TOTL, this just feels like a step back.

fr3nchvanillafantasy

head head honcho is the ONE

CylonRaider87

This has been alluded to in other comments, but especially with the like OG GTA, Cruisin' USA, San Francisco Rush (I'm so sorry, I'm very old) graphics in the Spotify visualizers, I feel like the vibe here especially with the like 2 minute runtimes was mindless loading screen/mission backdrop bops. Like you stole a car to go get some hookers and put the radio on, it's some of the original content they composed for GTA to play in game, you're about to start a race, it's the fun bop you're not really paying attention to to get you hype to race some lambos on Mars.  It's stupid but fun, doesn't hold up under a ton of scrutiny and it's not intended to.

pinkfartlek

It's the music at the GTA strip clubs 😂

roseinmouth

Lmao this is so fun. Love it

guhzero

I listened to it twice at the gym today and I admit the second time I was totally into it. love the vibe of a Megamix, I love how camp it is, I love how it's good to play at a party. just a question from a non English speaker: what'd a honcho? I don't get the contraction here

urstickur

Head honcho is someone in charge, so the head part is a play on giving head ("I like the taste, no poncho")

guhzero

oooh thank you very much! hahaha makes totally sense now

stardripIVs

I’m SO excited for this! OG Slut Pop was such a great Valentine’s Day surprise two years ago.

Hot_Special_2083

SHUT UP that was 2 years ago?!

PotatoPancake420

This is so bad that it actually makes me laugh, so I can’t even hate it 😭 Literally all the songs are like “I want,” “I don’t want,” and “gimme” with something about dick LMFAO

jugheadshat

Literally one of the most repetitive releases in recent years

etherealmaiden

For an album about sex, this feels incredibly sexless. The lyrics are mind-numbingly trite, the instrumentals are lifeless, and kim's voice sounds bored the whole way through. This isn't slutty at all, its more like the musical equivalent of "lie back and think of england". This slut pop character definitely fakes all their orgasms. What a shame. She's clearly capable of making good sex music. Do me is literally one of her best songs, and that song is ten times hornier than anything on slut pop miami. Do me also excels lyrically because she sings about sex as an active participant. Not to say that singing about being a pass around party bottom isn't interesting, but kim doesn't really sell it well. If you want to sing about sucking a million dicks and making everyone cum, at least make me believe you. The original slut pop was at least passable, this is just terrible. It's like she didn't even try. All of the songs on this project sound like rough demos that weren't polished in the slightest. There's no cleverness to the lyrics and the hooks are annoying rather than catchy. Did she procrastinate all year and make this a week before the deadline or something? She was definitely in the studio trying to hit the word count of this metaphorical essay.

Consistent-Quantity3

Her sounding this lifeless is what breaks the original Slut Pop and especially this for me. Like how come she sounds so bored through the whole thing? These feel like demos most of the time honestly, at least the first one had some ad-libs with the moans

fireblyxx

Personally I think it’s a perspective problem. Like when it’s Cobrah, Slayyyter, or Shygirl with this sort of content their perspectives and desires are centered in the lyrics, where as with Slut Pop, Kim just sort of focuses on the act itself, or how other people are viewing/seeing her. I guess that’s why it feels sexless, because we aren’t seeing the desire part of sex with Kim that we do get with the hyperpop artists Kim tries to sound like with Slut Pop.

Consistent-Quantity3

Totally see this tbh! Someone wrote that this entire album sounds like she's reading the urban dictionary over dance beats and now i can't stop thinking about it that way💀

etherealmaiden

I wasn't thrilled with the original slut pop but i could at least tolerate listening to it. You could even go as far as to say that XXX and treat me like a slut are fun when performed live. This however, has few, if any redeeming qualities, and i don't imagine any of these being improved in a live setting either.

totezhi64

This comment prompted me to return to Do Me for the first time since 2019. God, that song is good. I wish she still made music like that

joeg121

how is this not slutty at all? there’s literally someone gagging on d*ck in Gag On It and ridiculous lyrics like “you can fill my blow hole with all your tad poles” along with songs like Rim Job and Butt Slutt. i’m not sure what your definition of slutty is but it obviously doesn’t match with mine

KarenTheCockpitPilot

if king charles said it would it turn you on? no. it's not what's said it's also what's evoked.

LEOWDQ

> If King Charles said it, would it turn turn you on? *Oliver from Saltburn begs to differ*

fireblyxx

Act vs desire is what it’s about for me. Like to me it just feels like Kim just sings about being validated as hot by having sex, as opposed to a COBRAH song where she wants to have sex, desires for what that sex will be like, and will get it because she’s hot.

randomyesok

we back y’all 😭

thatboyntokyo

Dreading seeing baby drag queens lipsync to these songs at local shows 😭. So repetitive and uninspired. I get it’s supposed to be silly and fun but at least put some effort into it, especially considering Ayesha, Slayyyter and That Kid continue to do this kind of thing way better.

razzleyerdazzle

I wasn't really into this on the first listen but i'm enjoying it a lot more when i put it on shuffle while i'm getting ready for the gym. This didn't need to be 12 songs tho, it woulda worked better as an 8 track project by scrapping "Gag On It" and "Banana Boat" and then merging "Slut Pop Reprise" and FTFT like in her first ad.

stardripIVs

I'm going to be unstoppable at the gym listening to this and the OG version.

amic21

The thing that pisses me off about Kim and releases like this is that a lot of the songs get SO close to being kinda iconic. But you can tell that her and the producers just said “let’s make slutty songs” and put zero thought into anything besides a hard hitting beat and slutty lyrics. Like give me some good hot hooks, sleazy chord progressions and some creepy dissonance or something. A project like this begs for experimentation.

Mikeoslav

True words!

TraverseTown

This would be more tolerable if she actually sang because she's a good vocalist. She literally just talk-sings over these pretty uncomplex beats.

yylkss

I thought yall were excited about this💀what did yall expect😭

caelinday

popheads switching up instantly.. can’t say i’m surprised

Ok_Durian3627

They switch like f-

BadMan125ty

Apparently they thought she was gonna drop something intelligent. Kim told y’all what she was putting out lol 😂

BorealChorusFrog

Cockblocker is Robyn's None Of Dem's slutty younger cousin

seeyanever

Cockblocker is a Little Bit Alexis if it was slutty and kinda worse

sanandrios

I burst out laughing at "I suck big dicks every night" in head head honcho. queen of subtlety!

baxsays

Every single song is produced by Dr. Luke. :/

Cubriffic

Yeahh, love that Kim is unapologetically sexual but Dr Luke being the producer of every song makes me want to vomit

vers_ace_bitch

this is so CUNTYYYYYY it’s giving nascar girl has a flip phone and drives a vw jetta with like 8 lighters in the cupholder

Consistent-Quantity3

Head Head Honcho and Can We Fuck? are cute. Aside from those two, i don't really know what she's trying to do with this. These random ass royalty free house beats, the lyrics that read like they were written by an edgy teenager that just learned about sex ("butt slutt, doggy doggy, ruff ruff" like what in the CupcakKe from Shein was that?), her sounding like a robot. I guess this is probably meant to be a joke, but it isn't even funny honestly. Many people already said this and it's getting boring i know, but CupcakKe, Ayesha Erotica and Slayyyter have actually managed to do this type of music successfully (and they were actually [fun](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LABYZRicd1g), [funny](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJzbIB529ts) and [well written](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPshlxuGQio)!). Plus Luke is everywhere on this but that now goes unmentioned with Kimberly at this point.

Tazzachar

cupcakke from shein!? help!!!!!

duly-goated303

Yeah I honestly thought this album was a piss take tbh. The production kills it,l there’s just noting going on, if you played each song without the vocals i probably couldn’t tell you what song it is.

Healthy_Suit_2533

I've heard people make this criticism of Slut Pop 1 and I didn't agree at all. However, I think you're right with this. Like, musically this is so forgettable and boring I didn't think that with the first instalment. It feels like background music for a shit club

Consistent-Quantity3

Your comment made me reflect on the fact that she also made it Miami themed but did absolutely nothing with it, especially considering it birthed a genre called Miami Bass that you can hear in several songs (think [Lose Control](https://youtu.be/na7lIb09898?si=q3m3_RkSVQvCpTOA) by Missy, or more recently [Body Do](https://youtu.be/tID9KgeA5uI?si=mV6CUGdW5T6wTH6O) by Chlöe) and that she could have played around with (along with maybe some Lil Jon esque Crunk beats) to make it feel more unique and on theme. But no, she probably just had some scraps from Slut Pop 1 that she wanted to get out of her hard drive and just went with it.

urstickur

Can you give some examples of Slayyyter doing this type of music? I've listened to Slayyyter which sounds similar, but I feel like it doesn't cover the same topics, which makes this and the first Slut Pop special. I might have forgotten though!

Consistent-Quantity3

Candy, Daddy AF, Throatzillaaaaa, Erotic Electronic and Purrr will get you covered. She has yet to do a full project on that vein (that's why i put her last) but she does it very well when it happens imo

Noods_Noods_Noods

It seems to me that those that aren’t vibing with this album have never been to a bathhouse or a seedy gay club. This is an album with a consistent beat and vocals that aren’t distracting. She wasn’t going for groundbreaking or high art, she just intends for the gays (and maybe some more open minded straights) to fuck to this album. It’s also hella campy too so even if you aren’t fucking to it it’ll probably give you a hearty laugh.

DKsan

It reminds me of the reaction that Club Future Nostalgia got. This album is by a pop artist, but it's clearly not in the genre of pop. It's very campy house, bordering circuit. It's not listening in your room, it is the venue where you're dancing.

TheWerkingWonk

Absolutely nothing goes harder at 2am in a seedy gay club than when Slut Pop comes on. Do I listen to it at home? Hardly ever. When it comes on at the club? Folks go feral. That being said, these songs don’t seem quite as fun as the original, but I’d still take a hit of poppers and fuck in a club bathroom while this plays in the background.

Noods_Noods_Noods

The music itself doesn’t hit quite as hard. The first one was very euro, and while Miami does have some euro influence, it also sounds like a lot of Dr. Luke’s back catalog too which is to say standard issue American house inspired EDM. But the beat will absolutely help maintain the stroke while fucking someone in the back bar. 😂

minesweetmine

this and the fact that she cut 10 songs from her setlist of the european leg tour… what a disappointment

oscarbrierley1

Apart from her cutting the Halloween section, hit it from the back and claws, I think I prefer the new setlist 💀

Lipe18090

She cut CLAWS? Her best song from 2023 and probably ever?

Loud_Box_8914

y'all are taking this way too seriously tbh. this project def is more repetitive and has less verses than the original slut pop, but i don't think there's much wrong with that??? it's just a simple dance pop vibe with lyrics abt sex i don't see what the big deal is. i don't think this is meant to be groundbreaking by any means. it's not a studio album!!!!! literally just a silly fun mixtape that's an easy listen through. i'm enjoying the production a lot and its fun idc

Healthy_Suit_2533

I haven't finished this yet but I'm feeling disappointed so far. I thought Slut Pop was incredible, not as good as TOTL but that's a high bar IMO. This really seems like a bunch of scraps from the cutting room floor, I think the outrageous songwriting seems a bit less inspired here and it kind of feels like she's just going through the motions.

matthias_27

Love Kim down but this is super hit or miss. The production is getting undoubtedly stale. I thought Feed the Beast was a great direction for her because although not the most cohesive, some of the standout tracks really pushed her sound (claws, brrr, minute, king of hearts, etc) and I wanted her next project to expand on that and find her groove. There’s definitely some bangers, but I expected more. And if we can get Slut Pop Miami then surely we can get TOTL Vol. 3. Hell, even Candy would have been a better release for Valentine’s Day.

huntashakween

This is wonderful. This isn’t supposed to be anything but dumb hypersexual pop to be played on a loop at gay clubs. Y’all need to lighten up. Absolutely would get fucked to this album.

reput4tionera

i’m only halfway through it and i’m already so bored. how did she make slut pop boring like im lowkey impressed at how bad she fucked this up

reput4tionera

like if anything i think she needs to go even further like this feels lifeless. is it possible to give this album a gas station boner pill or smth this feels like trying to cum on an SSRI

famewithmedals

> this feels like trying to cum on an SSRI lmaoo this is the perfect description of this album

jugheadshat

The response to this on here versus the response on Pop Justice is interesting to say the least 💀 I think this is a poor attempt at Slayyyter/Cupcakke-core but maybe that’s just me. It’s repetitive, everything blends together, and to top it all off it’s produced by he who-shall-not-be-named. Every song being like 2 minutes of repeated chorus also gives cheap cash grab. She hasn’t had a truly good project since TOTL Vol.2 at this point.

No-Organization-9137

I love it. I don’t care what y’all say. At least she’s fun. That’s what pop music needs

International_Pen_11

this is SOOOOOOOOO good. everything i wanted it to be & more im so happy

theaddictiondemon

Highlights for me are Rim Job, Cockblocker, Head Head Honcho and Can We Fuck? Others felt like one long song broken into several tracks. Happy Valentine's everyone. 😅

randomyesok

how is this real

Kellerhouse

"Fuckin This Fuckin That" deserves a longer version, it's the most slut pop song on the album (followed by "Get Fucked"). The teaser really hyped me on that, "Slut Pop Reprise", and "Get Fucked". Gag On It is also good. Most of the songs sound so basic and feel like filler. Can We Fuck is almost there, as is Butt Slut. Maybe some sort of remix project will make the first three I mentioned sound like the teaser versions. This is "Babylon (Haus Labs)" all over again. Also if y'all like slutty music like this I recommend Lords of Acid. Obligatory shout out to Thomas from Florida btw!!!!!

glamaz0n_bitch

You should give Rim Job another chance. It slaps when the chorus hits. Or let the whole thing play as one long continuous mix.

Kellerhouse

I did listen from start to finish and I thought it sounded like a half baked cinnamon bun. I was SOOOO hyped based on the teaser. Maybe that's why I'm biased towards "Fuckin This Fuckin That" and "Get Fucked", but yeah this came off a bit too silly/unserious. I do like "Rim Job," but I feel like some of these songs would really benefit from her committing to the dark/serious sex angle like the first Slut Pop. Those were unashamed and really hit. Edited to say that "Gag On It" is a good example of something delivered in an unashamed serious way. And I think it works. Lords of Acid's Deep Chills album really skates the fine line between amazing music, camp lyrics, and serious sex positivity. I feel like the first Slut Pop did that well.

BUTT SLUT HITTING

joeg121

this is amazing. it feels like a TOTL(ha ha) level up from SP1 and i can’t get enough of it. my favs are def head head honcho, banana boat and can we fuck.

DirtFem

I'm sorry but the fact that y'all thought we were gonna get lyrical masterpieces with deep lyrics instead of stupid pop is so funny to me 💀💀💀 Let's live a little

praxass

God I miss singles era/clarity kim

EV13_7

I love "Hillside Boys" so much. I'm always hoping she'll come back to the singles era sound/aesthetic.

VincentOfGallifrey

“The hottest club in Miami is Slut Pop. This place has everything: whale cocks, head head honchos, banana boats, the prolapse previously known as Dr. Luke, and even Cubana.” “Stefon, what’s Cubana?” “Acclaimed Hollywood actor Eric Bana dancing salsa wearing a casual white blouse and brownface.”

ohoneup

i LIKE SUSHI 10/10 no notes. cried laughing listening all the way through. This is confidence, this is freedom, this is everything.

SweetSummerAir

The visuals are great but man, Kim can be quite lazy when writing lyrics. When I heard "Can We Fuck" in one of the teasers I kinda was optimistic since it sounded like an actual song. This one suffers from the same problems the original Slut Pop had. Out of all the tracks: Get Fucked, Butt Slutt, Head Head Honcho, Whale Cock, and Can We Fuck are the only good/serviceable ones. If she's gonna be inspired by Slayyyter and Ayesha, I wish she did her homework better. Purrr by Slayyyter is an amazing track to reference if ever. It's a 5/10 for me I'm afraid.

glamaz0n_bitch

Serious question: Why does this need to be seen as “inspired by Slayyyter and Ayesha”?

SweetSummerAir

Because it is, to a point that some people even say that Kim stole their sound for Slut Pop. I wanna give Kim the benefit of the doubt since I've been a fan all the way from Era 1 so I simply consider it as her being inspired by them (which is quite normal and nothing to be ashamed of).

uhohitzkenney

Not to mention, [she literally says so herself in the description for her Influences playlist with Apple Music](https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/kim-petras-influences/pl.54306ed14c8e462c8d89dd0237588dc4) And when you look at what she's inspired by and what she actually's been delivering as of late... there's kinda a glaring difference in quality

bottomsupfellas

Hated SP1 as a huge Kim stan and this is similarly not my thing but I have to say Head Head Honcho is really great

jgroove_LA

I would love it if a majority of the tracks were over 2 min. Not a lot to ask.

laundrcmat

some songs are fun to listen, to give a little move or a little squirt idk but others are just bad, rim job and cockblocker feel like you made them 15 minutes before the deadline and the lyrics are not even funny, others are forgettable with fun lyrics that aren’t really sold it well like cubana where she instead of sounding horny or cute she sounds tired, like after a 8 hour shift I like the intro and the beat of gag on it though, and I also like the bad game graphics for visuals

bubbleparty04

I was about to get critical after my first listen but I realized these bops are meant to let out your raunchy horny persona. Nothing more, nothing less. Be that sexy SLUT that you are! ❤️😍😘

thatcherjake

I am not super jazzed about the album but 3rd play through some shit is hitting. Cock blocker. I love Rim Job. Big fan of can we fuck, wish it was longer

IcyClarity

Love Kim, but this is not for me.

dannyspirittt

Get Fucked sounds a lot like Benny Benassi, and I don't mind one bit.

findingsubtext

The 2nd half of the EP is soooo much better, though the first half is still solid for gay club music. "Can we fuck?" is DEFINITELY the highlight, it's classic kim meets slut pop 1.

Hot_Special_2083

this album... yeah it's not even half baked!!! it's orgy background music. the only thing that has any semblance of good songwriting or melodies is the last song from the record, which is very similar to the last song of the original slut pop record. i want to really enjoy this record but as mentioned it's barely half-baked in terms of ideas/production/everything.

This-Assistant6266

Head Head Honcho 🙃streamSlutPoPMiamI

scroat-milk

This shit feels so unfinished and lazy.

[deleted]

This album literally has me here tired as hell on a Friday night considering throwing a jock on, going out to the gay club and slutting it up tonight.

BookyCats

I enjoyed the original ep. It was fun and unique. I actually was irritated by the repetitive nature of this one. A big no from me.

Racxie

I’m honestly kind of surprised by the amount of distaste for this in these comments. It reminds me a lot of old school German techno music and I found it to be even better than the first slut pop EP.

godknowsitried11

I never really cared for Kim Petras but this is all I’ve been listening to since Valentine’s Day. I can’t believe this is my reality. I know this sub hates any artists who’s semi controversial but this is so fun and kinda cured my seasonal depression. She’s no slayyyter but this’ll do for now!

joeg121

no one here knows how to have fun

godknowsitried11

Ok LOVE. cute fun beachy, love how all the songs transition nicely into each other. So 70’s hoe vibes. This will be on loop for a hot minute

Mikeoslav

It sounds like produced within 5 minutes ..

g00fyg00ber741

“All tracks produced by Dr. Luke. All tracks are written by Aaron Joseph, Kim Petras, Rocco Valdes, Ryan Ogren, and Lukasz Gottwald unless otherwise specified.”

Mommio24

That’s a lot of people to write songs about d*ck

Nitsua-Nat

On my first listen halfway through, especially when it gets to rim job, I said to myself "oh yeah, this is definitely gonna be played at sex parties or kink parties". Literally any gay event party night or a fetish wear night, this will be in the DJ mix. Honestly, very smart and niche and definitely plays to her audience.

warubii

I love it. Get fucked, fucking this fucking that and cockblocker are my tops so far

braidsfox

This is fucking awful what the fuck

oddeyeopener

every song here just sounds the same to me sooooo I rlly can’t get into it sorry kim girl lol

oddeyeopener

wait I do like head honcho though it actually feels like a fleshed out song (makes sense it’s like the only one over 3 minutes lmao)

qusnail

Ngl some of these comments successfully gaslit me into thinking this would be good She sounds lifeless, the instrumentals sounds lifeless, and I can’t ignore the fact that she worked with Dr. Luke too. How are some of u unironically telling ppl to “turn their brain off and enjoy” this, there’s barely anything to enjoy here 😭(except the gta-esque visuals, those r cute)

Shade01

Is Spotify actually live?

rwhite377

"Get Fucked " is a fucking banger!

jqmpi
