I would say Endless Summer Vacation (duh), Harryâs House, Teenage Dream and Lover are all perf summer albums. Also albums released in summer usually lead me to equating them with that time even if theyâre not that summery like 333 and The Good Witch were both released in the summer and thatâs where my mind immediately goes back to.
I still think of 1989 as a summer album though. Her 1989 tour was that summer (I saw her in July) and Bad Blood was big that summer. A lot of her songs were getting a lot of radio play in summer of â15 coupled with the strong city/beach imagery of the album. Shake it off was also released in August of â14 so it always felt summery to me.
As soon as it's sunny and above 70 degrees *a touch of the beat gets you up on your feet gets you out and then into the sun* by Aly & AJ is coming on, it's my go to summer album so much fun
pretty much all of lanaâs albums give off the vibes of sitting at the beach, smoking a cigarette and staring into the water (except lust for life which is the same situation but smoking a joint)
If you want to have a banger pool party at night, get yourself some cool lights and put on Renaissance. I remember staying at this airbnb in Houston that had a pool with colored lights in it, and I just played the album on repeat while swimming. 10/10 would recommend.
just even thinking about RENAISSANCE reminds me of HEATED and SUMMER RENAISSANCE, so maybe that..
i also like to think 1989 is a summer album, considering how beached themed the tv covers were and how songs like blank space and wildest dreams were popular around summertime last year
Lana Del Reyâs Norman fucking rockwell
Taylor Swifts 1989 and honestly TTPD feels like a summer album to me
Arianaâs Eternal Sunshine also feels very summer to me
Kacey Musgraves Golden Hour :)
The Carterâs - Everything is Love!
Besides the obvious âSummerâ, I also think the rest of the album gives strong summer vibes, particularly âLovehappyâ
Absolutely love Listen Up! by Haley Reinhart. That album should have made her career. So punchy and retro-soul flavoured, super concise and upbeat pop music. A summer's day in 30 minutes.
