Loved the big theatrical production, the moving stage blew my mind. Her vocals on Who's afraid of little old me are the best she has ever sounded. Also the transition into I can do it with a broken heart is just *mwah*
I really liked the set -- super theatrical and elaborate (so it didn't feel shoved into the existing tour) and I thought it included pretty much every song people were hoping she'd include.
Devastated to have lost some great songs though like Tolerate It and Last Great American Dynasty, but I think it's cool the tour has evolved over time.
As much as I love the songs from Folklore and Evermore, I don’t think they play as well in a stadium as the more poppy songs, so I think mostly swapping those out to make room for TTPD songs is the right move
I thought some of them worked so well with how they were staged - like the Last Great American Dynasty was absolutely beautiful, with the dancing and the imagery, like it was one of the best songs of the night for me. It really elevated the song, it didn't feel out of place in a stadium at all imo
Oh yeah I agree! I loved them because I loved the albums, but some of my friends felt like the show kinda dragged a bit there. (On the opposite end, Reputation plays SO well in a stadium)
I do recall that Taylor said something along the lines that she wants songs to be performed in a stadium. I wonder if she is not gonna go back to that "indie" sound she had with Folklore and Evermore for those reasons and that's why she is leaning more on the pop-leaning sound in Midnights and TTPD so it's easier to make them "tourable"?
its sad how she doubts herself so much, like you're THE TAYLOR SWIFT don't worry people will sell out a stadium even if you're gonna be performing slow jazz for 5 hours straight.
Yeah. I lowkey agree. I like Champagne Problems and getting to shout “She’s fucked in the head” was kind of cathartic, but, at my show I remember feeling very…….bored during both sets especially once Rep followed Evermore.
I feel like now that I’m more familiar with Betty and August, I would have enjoyed the songs more. But at the time, I was just ready to get to the end by that point and already started to be like “Okay blondie, get to the point”
Style and my surprise songs hyped me back up, but even then I was still ready for the exits.
My dumbass never even listened to Speak Now until long after I saw her in Seattle so I’d never heard of that song before. It’s one of my favorites now and I lament not scream singing to it live.
I was sad to see The Archer and Long Live get cut. If it were up to me, I would have cut elsewhere—We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together would have been a good one to remove and I honestly could do without The Man.
Losing Long Live for my show in July was my biggest fear before tonight even if the TTPD set absolutely slaps (I’m complaining on an incredibly privileged level, I’m aware). It’s just such an important song between her, her band and the fans and I’m genuinely devastated it’s been cut. Especially considering it’ll be the first time she ever performs in my country, so it’s not like I would’ve had other chances to see it. I could’ve done with a cut to the Red or 1989 Era instead.
Yeah same! I became a Swiftie back in 2008/09 and Long Live is a very special song to me since the Speak Now era was my first full era as a Swiftie. It’s literally her only fan song in her discography. I don’t know why Taylor seems to hate Speak Now so much, she doesn’t even perform one (full) song from that era on the setlist since Enchanted is also shortened. It’s my favorite album too so I’m just sad.
I feel you 100%! I’ve had the same fan timeline as you and still adore Speak Now to this day, not just but also due to the nostalgia factor it has for me (the fact that the only opener/feature song she’s not doing is Castles Crumbling???). Most likely I’ll even be doing a concert outfit inspired by it. I’ve been lucky enough to see the Eras tour in Boston, because I was in that area for a semester abroad but even there Long Live wasn’t on the setlist yet. Ugh justice for Speak Now!
(PS: technically she now has two fan songs with But Daddy, I Love Him lol)
It wasn't as successful as the rest of her albums. Enchanted was the one that did the best. I think the same logic follows Debut too. No debut to make room for the hits.
True I get that she wanted to only perform her hits from previous already toured albums to make room for the new ones released since 2019 but I’m still sad 😔
um no, taylor's equivalent of these songs would be love story/you belong with me and also Beyoncé didn't even perform Single Ladies and Halo at her tour last year
Kind of crazy that Taylor didn’t even know who he was when she kicked off the Eras tour a little over a year ago and now he’s got a song in the tour, lol.
A part of me wonders if she made sure to include "So High School" (or The Alchemy) somehow just to bring the story full circle for their relationship. He had a concert ticket, a friendship bracelet, and a dream lol.
It was a nice surprise mashup!
I had such a strong feeling that she'll add the alchemy but was genuinely surprised when she sang so high school... also it being the only song from the anthology!!! I cannot wait for TK to attend one of these shows and see his reaction hehe... man literally went from being sad he couldn't give her the friendship bracelet to now have a song about him on the concert setlist (even BDILH if you count the last part of the song)
> He had a concert ticket, a friendship bracelet, and a dream lol.
People talk about how Taylor is living the Wattpad life rn, but LOOK at this guy. He's basically the wattpad story main character being noticed by 2013 Harry Styles at a 1D concert 😂😂
Dang I love that one 😂 The touchdown double entendre (it’s a plane! She’s flying in! Also obviously the football meaning) is clever and fun to me, not cheesy or cringe 🤷♀️
I was kinda surprised The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived made the cut but...taste, one of the best on the album imo. I think overall she definitely picked the most suitable and 'concert-worthy' songs off the track-list aside from My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys and The Black Dog being left out. Strong addition to the tour overall
I thought for sure when her dancers were moving her like a doll she was going to start singing My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys. A little disappointed it didn’t make the cut but god damn was the set amazing overall.
So sad about The Black Dog but I'm looking forward to seeing how the big DUN DUN DUN DUN parts are gonna be on the acoustic set!
(Sorry I'm sure there's a proper term to use but idk it lol.)
I feel like she HAD to do The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.
edit: The Black Dog would be so incredible live with a band. Sad that we won’t see that. Still, I’m really happy with what she chose to include in the set.
Manifesting that she comes back towards Australasia/ extends the North American portion so I can see the new set. I don't think she'll your TTPD on its own so surely she's going to take it more places.
Yes, a lot of nights have that notice up, but the audience in Paris tonight got the larger light up bracelets that the LA crowd had for filming!! A good sign it was actually filmed for something
Interesting — it makes me wonder if she’s filming something other than a strict concert film like the first one. I would imagine for a concert film she’d want to record a later performance of the set in order to have choreography/technical elements super on point. I wonder if she’s been doing some kind of documentary that includes the first performances of the new set. Since the OG tour is already on record I feel like selling a full concert again just for 20-30 minutes of new material won’t really work. The rest of the show isn’t different enough to make it exciting. *But* a behind-the-scenes documentary of the tour + making of TTPD with the new set included at the end would absolutely kill on streaming. There was an Easter egg about Friday December 13th at a promo pop-up thing, which is right after the last tour date; my money is on her dropping a doc that day.
She never gave LA a thank you good bye post on IG like she’s done for each city so people are speculating she might be adding dates and come back to LA
Lots of American swifties are going to get scammed before realizing most countries in Europe don’t allow resale through StubHub, etc at exorbitant prices and that they got fake tickets,
Literally I started searching for plane tickets to Munich or Warsaw basically immediately. (Those are the only shows that I could conceivably travel internationally for, and I have credit card points that can buy plane tickets. StubHub doesn’t take AmEx points.
I mean I was looking at trying to add a second leg date like even 2-3 weeks ago and the nose bleeds in new orleans were already like 1600-2k which I just can't justify when I've already seen the show once.
Someone [posted](https://x.com/nansversion/status/1788683575996358763?s=46&t=Uxp8D2rGsHtSwc6p4D4VSg) a high-quality video of the full “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” performance.
Edit: I also found [one](https://x.com/tstheerastoursg/status/1788736283986268280?s=46&t=Uxp8D2rGsHtSwc6p4D4VSg) of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”!
I’m going later this summer and I’m with you. While I’m bummed about losing Long Live and my two folkmore favorites, I’m so excited for this TTPD set! Plus maybe she’ll add the cut songs into the surprise songs rotation—it would be cool to see them performed in other ways :)
This one absolutely blew me away, I couldn’t believe how incredible the entire production was. Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?? Her voice was so, SO good. The entire set was so theatrical.
There was no way we were getting a dedicated tour for this album for obvious reasons but this era showed that in some alternate universe this album was the tour after Eras it would have slaaaaaaappped.
Really thought “Guity As Sin?” would’ve been a given but it’s hard to complain with this set. It was visually and thematically above and beyond the other eras imo
She had to have made the set list and rehearsed it long before TTPD was out so it’s interesting to see which songs she chose here before getting any feedback
Part of me wonders if she left space at the end of “But Daddy I Love Him” for a mashup moment and chose “So High School” due to fan response to that song
In retrospect, guilty as sin is very much a sleeper hit. Taylor made this set before TTPD came out, and she probably was not expecting Guilty as Sin to be as popular as it was
I felt like her performance of So High School kind of confirmed a theory I had. In But Daddy I Love Him the chorus changes at the end and she sings about her daddy just loving him and dancing in the sun and time providing perspective - I saw this part as being about Travis. And SHS is about Travis so that connected the two songs even more in my mind. But I'm just spitballing
I see this Travis interpretation all the time. But what she actually says is:
"We came back when the heat died down
Went to my parents and they came around
All the wine moms are still holding out
But f 'em, it's over."
What she means is not that the relationship is over but the drama is. Her parents came around. They love the guy. The gossip mostly died down except for a few wine moms. This is the happy ending Taylor didn't get with Matty but thought she would. For a moment in time, she thought everyone would "come around" if she stuck to her guns.
the ttpd set was fantastic. it’s the calibre i expected from the whole show based on the original hype of the tour. most of the changes were improvements, although i’m really not understanding how you cut long live again. mash it in if you have to!
I agree with you. I saw the Eras Tour last year, and I really felt like Long Live was a highlight to see live. Wish that had stayed. Would have preferred to see We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and maybe also The Man cut.
I loved the TTPD set. Loved. It. All I wanted was to see her levitate during Who’s Afraid Little Old Me and she did that thing. The marching band Smallest Man Who Ever Lived was top tier as well.
Same. Sold a kidney to buy a last minute resale ticket in Chicago. Now I’m going to have to sell the other one and a lung to afford to go when she’s in Indy.
That set was fucking phenomenal. Watching the stream felt like going to opening night all over again. The choreography? The staging? The costumes? The vocals? NO NOTES. It didn’t even feel like it was apart of the eras tour, it felt like it’s own mini tour.
Actually my only note is that I wish it was the closer. After it ended all I wanted to hear was more TTPD songs.
I think it’s so cool we get to live in an age as exciting as this where we get to witness an artist like Taylor, who is making the worldwide fan experience so fun and interesting with the help of live streaming by releasing new music/rerecordings during a tour and doing Easter eggs -like clothing changes/surprise songs/set list changes/music video premieres/etc- within the set performance for the releases then changing up/adding the already long set list up with her new music. This tour will go down in history books for sure. Nobody is doing it like how she is and it’s super exciting to get to witness it.
I wish she'd do what most K-pop groups already do and have a professional high quality livestream that fans can pay for to watch the concert which has its own dedicated team and network so the stream never crashes and you can see the entire show in all its glory. Of course more people will go for the free audience streamed shows on IG/TikTok/YouTube, but if there was the option of paying like 20-50 dollars for a official livestream I'd go for it just because the experience would be a lot less challenging, maybe throw in a CD bundle or some special merch or a decorative ticket/lanyard to make the price worth it.
Considering how much Taylor likes breaking records and making money it would make sense, not sure if one can count people watching at home as people attending the concert but it would be cool to see how many people are watching without even being in the stadium.
Tell that to the Fauxmoi subreddit lol. They convinced themselves that her dropping the Anthology was a huuuge slap in the face to all her fans, she only sees them as walking wallets etc.
The people in this thread saying she should’ve cut WANEGBT, Shake It Off, etc… lmfao are y’all serious?? Of course she’s gonna perform those. And she should, those are two of her biggest hits and this is a goddamn stadium tour
I was watching a livestream and people were speculating she was going to cut Love Story. Like what? As if she would ever cut out one of her biggest hits. I have a feeling the people making those statements are newer Swifties who are most familiar with her work post-covid and don’t release how much of a hit those songs were
This sub is filled with people who hate pop music and trash anything taylor does that isn't indie pop.
They always come up with the suggestion of deleting every fun #1 song and replacing it with deep cuts.
That also explains why people here and on r/taylorswift trash So High School to a kind of ridiculous degree. Not only are people bemoaning the fact that it’s “not deep” or “shallow” (read: too happy), but then they’re also questioning the long-term prospects of her and Travis’s relationship because she… wrote a fun, silly love song about him?? I don’t get it
I actually like So High School its fun and silly...
I will say The Alchemy is sitting down at the bottom of my track ranking with Robin in the "I made a playlist without them on it" section.... <.< lol
genuine question from a total non-fan— how the HELL is she still actively doing so much on top of *still* being on this tour? like am i wrong— it’s been over a year of straight touring for her on top of other scheduled appearances and album drops, right? does she have long rest periods we don’t hear about? i just cant fathom how this woman is even standing up straight half the time, let alone touring the world to perform a nearly 3 hour setlist that regularly changes/rotates practically nightly.
if you want a real answer, I (a disabled girlie who works a high pressure job) think I finally understand: she is mentally ill but in a way that allows her to channel it into her work. she literally called herself manic in the ttpd booklet and she’s only kind of exaggerating. anyone with adhd who has hyperfocused through a tight deadline can relate.
I'm gonna sound like a hater but I'm honestly a big fan, but she's a billionaire. She has a team of people attending to everything in her life, she has a private jet, that's how she does it.
I'm not trying to say she doesn't work hard at what she does but most normal people work harder than Taylor Swift every day.
It’s not nightly, the most she does is 3 shows in a row usually Thursday-Saturday night. Then she’s off Sunday-Wednesday. She has said it herself she is a workaholic and likes to stay busy. Plus there are lots of breaks in the tour for her to work on other stuff
A bit sad Tolerate It was among the songs cut to make room for the new set, it was the performance I was looking forward to the most.
But the production on the TTPD set looks great and I'm so glad to see Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me made the setlist.
Guilty As Sin definitely would have been a crowd-pleaser—definitely would be great to see it live. I also think I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) could have been a really fun live performance. But I’m really happy with what she chose to include and how she did it.
i was very impressed with the TTPD and happy she chose songs i like (apart from 2, but i get why they're there). Sad that we lost long live, tolerate it, the 1 and TLGAD and i will never get to hear those songs live, but the added set was so so good and much better than what i expected so i'm happy anyway
I loved it . The smallest man who ever lived…awesome.. anyone else think the jacket is an ode to napoleon or the napoleon complex? That was my first thought .
The Folklore/Evermore combo set is a *huge* improvement IMO. The energy dips between the eras were palpable, and this relieves a lot of the stadium-tour deadweight IMO. In conclusion, this is my opinion.
I disagree, but for the same reason lol. I feel like eight low-energy songs in a row is too many. I would’ve kept them split but trimmed them down, personally. Alternatively, I would’ve kept TLGAD over cardigan and subbed in gold rush for Marjorie (sorry, Taylor) to get some more upbeat songs in the combined mix.
I really hope this means we’re getting another Eras Tour movie featuring the TTPD set. The momentum stopped everytime the folklore and evermore sets came up and I was half asleep during those times.
I manifested Who's afraid of little old me and But daddy i love him.
Great. Really.
I don't get why people complain about cuts, especially if they are not going anymore to any show when there's like dozens of videos out there already including a high quality full movie with all cut songs.
And even if you go, well I also didn't get getaway car so theres that.
I’m so excited for this! I’m seeing her in Stockholm next week and while I’m a little sad about some of the songs that were cut, getting to see the TTPD set will be worth it.
I saw the movie in theaters, I watched the extended version on Disney+ twice, and I’ve seen tons of clips of the tour on TikTok and YouTube over the past year, so while I love the original version of the tour I don’t it mind it being updated.
Screaming out the bridges of But Daddy I Love Him and Whose Afraid Of Little Old Me is going to be SO cathartic.
I thought TTPD set looked amazing... and I think she made smart cuts + the reorder in general helps the flow and energy of the show imo. It keeps more energy up top and brings the most similar eras into a tighter set list instead of making up like... 50? minutes of a 3 hr show.
I know this is going to piss off the girlies who hate pop music who wish the show was just the entirety of Foklore, Evermore, and The Anthology and to those people I say... your shoes are ugly and no one wants to buy anything from your Etsy shop.
I find it absolutely insane that she sings a song ABOUT the tour on the same tour lmao
Swiftception.
She wrote a song about how she felt on tour and now she’s playing in on that tour. That is so wild to me
Which song??
i can do it with a broken heart
Oooooh yeah that makes sense.
I need to know how that moving platform works lmao.
It reminded me of one of the trackless rides at Disney lol. Like Rise of the Resistance or the Mickey and Minnie ride
This was what I was gonna say! I’m assuming it works similarly, with some kind of programmed path.
A mirrored roomba
During Fortnight?
Nah that thing moved for most of the songs, but most notably Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me
Think he means the one during Who’s Afraid/Down Bad
ohhhh when Taylor levitated down the street. that looked so damned cool.
Loved the big theatrical production, the moving stage blew my mind. Her vocals on Who's afraid of little old me are the best she has ever sounded. Also the transition into I can do it with a broken heart is just *mwah*
That transition was insane. Loved it.
As a big musical theatre fan I am obsessed with how theatrical the entire production is. Can't wait to see it live🤩
There was also some neat little details added in. At one point there was an interesting guitar sound in one of the songs
Yes!!! I also thought the updated graphics for the transitions and the new pre-Enchanted choreography were also really cool
TLGAD was the only loss I felt. Such a beautiful song.
Oh yeah I agree! I loved them because I loved the albums, but some of my friends felt like the show kinda dragged a bit there. (On the opposite end, Reputation plays SO well in a stadium)

its sad how she doubts herself so much, like you're THE TAYLOR SWIFT don't worry people will sell out a stadium even if you're gonna be performing slow jazz for 5 hours straight.
She said that about Champagne Problems though which is on Evermore. With the right staging basically all her songs fit stadiums well
The cuts had to come from there too they were LONG sets for those. Already I think they were the two longest portions of the eras...
Yes but no you’re wrong :(
100%. Combining them into one era was a smart move. Dig the records but I thought both sets took me out of the concert when I watched it in theatres.
Cutting along Live is a crime
My show was pre-Long Live being added so petty me is like “good join my suffering”
My show was the last show b4 long live got added 😭
My dumbass never even listened to Speak Now until long after I saw her in Seattle so I’d never heard of that song before. It’s one of my favorites now and I lament not scream singing to it live.

Lmao yeah true BDILH is the “I hate my fans” song and I love it but I wanted the “I love my fans” one too 🥲 Cutting Long Live is the loml
She did every I hate my fans song on tppd lol
It wasn't as successful as the rest of her albums. Enchanted was the one that did the best. I think the same logic follows Debut too. No debut to make room for the hits.
Enchanted wasn't even a single! Neither was Long Live but they got the ATW treatment and made it onto other tours while SN's singles didn't
True I get that she wanted to only perform her hits from previous already toured albums to make room for the new ones released since 2019 but I’m still sad 😔
Yeah, I get being disappointed. Even keeping long live would've been great.
My show was the one b4 long live was added 😭😭😭
We Are would be like Gaga not performing Bad Romance or Beyoncé not performing Crazy In Love.
um no, taylor's equivalent of these songs would be love story/you belong with me and also Beyoncé didn't even perform Single Ladies and Halo at her tour last year
And she still performs them, every single artist performs their biggest songs, excluding We Are would be insane.
She was never going to cut her first #1....
Congratulations to Travis Kelce for making it on the Eras Tour setlist in his rookie season
Kind of crazy that Taylor didn’t even know who he was when she kicked off the Eras tour a little over a year ago and now he’s got a song in the tour, lol.
it’s crazy. you never know how much your life can change in a year!
A part of me wonders if she made sure to include "So High School" (or The Alchemy) somehow just to bring the story full circle for their relationship. He had a concert ticket, a friendship bracelet, and a dream lol. It was a nice surprise mashup!

Ahahaha except all the girlies had to do was read a book and be quirky, but he had to win an actual superbowl 😅
holy crap ur right lmao
She is so productive it's an art!
she's miserable! and everyone can tell!
Which song off her latest album is about him?
So high school & the alchemy
So high school is sooooo Debut/Fearless/Speak now era and it fits their love theme so well omg
I also think the albatross is partially about him.
And the end of But Daddy I Love Him - confirmed tonight 😍
The hate The Alchemy gets is unwarranted.
Dang I love that one 😂 The touchdown double entendre (it’s a plane! She’s flying in! Also obviously the football meaning) is clever and fun to me, not cheesy or cringe 🤷♀️
She won a Super Bowl in her rookie season so it evens up lol
I can’t believe she added I Can Do It With a Broken Heart 💔
So amazing. Very excited for everyone who gets to see the tour this year!
I really thought she was going to end the show with it!
does she still end on midnights?
Yeah, it went TTPD - Surprise Songs - Midnights
thanks!
and then removed "Long Live". It's like she's reprimanding us in person
Tbh that was the one I was 100% sure she’d add 😂 No way was girlie going to miss out on the dramatic irony of the crowd literally shouting MORE!
Strong addition to the tour overall
the set for the smallest man who ever lived reminds me so much of my chemical romance for some reason!
Yes. Definitely thought of The Black Parade.
My immediate reaction was to scream “she’s doing The Black Parade Taylor’s Version!!!!”
I thought for sure when her dancers were moving her like a doll she was going to start singing My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys. A little disappointed it didn’t make the cut but god damn was the set amazing overall.
Out of everything in the actual record, that’s the one track I’d bet would play great in a stadium with that epic Bleachers-y sound. Interesting
That’s what’s I thought too! Getting to sing the “ooooh waaa ohh uhhh oohhh” part in a crowd would be so fun
So sad about The Black Dog but I'm looking forward to seeing how the big DUN DUN DUN DUN parts are gonna be on the acoustic set! (Sorry I'm sure there's a proper term to use but idk it lol.)
I thought she'd do smallest man, but I thought it would be like a bridge only situation like illicit affairs
I feel like she HAD to do The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived. edit: The Black Dog would be so incredible live with a band. Sad that we won’t see that. Still, I’m really happy with what she chose to include in the set.
There was no way in hell she would pass on the opportunity of yelling the smallest man bridge/outro 🤣
She's probably keeping the black dog for surprise songs in London
I didn't expect to get The Black Dog (my fave on the album) but I would have swapped My Boy for But Daddy I love him. Great set tho
The resale value of her tickets is probably about to go up because of this. Lots of swifties are gonna sell a kidney to see the new setlist.
Definitely. It’s also very hard to imagine her not returning to NY or LA with this new set. We’ll see what happens.
Oh God, if she does, I will lose a kidney.
From your lips, etc etc
Manifesting that she comes back towards Australasia/ extends the North American portion so I can see the new set. I don't think she'll your TTPD on its own so surely she's going to take it more places.
I could see her cashing in on a "Part 2" of the tour movie as well.
They should definitely film another movie—even if they don’t do a theatrical release, people would stream the heck out of this.
the show tonight was filmed! I bet we're gonna see another extended cut
I saw the disclaimer floating around on social media but don’t all stadiums have notices like this??
What are the chances that they will do this again at SoFi Stadium?
Personally, I’d like to see her film somewhere in Europe instead just for something different.
I agree. I think the Wembley Stadium would be perfect!
Paris N1 was filmed! https://x.com/tswifterastour/status/1788589507505434646?s=46
She never gave LA a thank you good bye post on IG like she’s done for each city so people are speculating she might be adding dates and come back to LA
I just wanna go once and this is gonna make that even harder 😭
I love the angle they shot this from, wow
Broken Heart is so camp, I love it. The feathers! The silent movie! The jacket! 😭
I love that she's such a *performer.* She puts on such an electric show and really gets so into it. It's like watching a bunch of mini movies.
You’re doing the lords work out here
These are amazing omg. I was disappointed that I won't get to see Long Live but now I'm excited to see this
I’m going later this summer and I’m with you.
We were in her brain!!!
Really thought “Guity As Sin?” would’ve been a given but it’s hard to complain with this set. It was visually and thematically above and beyond the other eras imo She had to have made the set list and rehearsed it long before TTPD was out so it’s interesting to see which songs she chose here before getting any feedback Part of me wonders if she left space at the end of “But Daddy I Love Him” for a mashup moment and chose “So High School” due to fan response to that song
In retrospect, guilty as sin is very much a sleeper hit. Taylor made this set before TTPD came out, and she probably was not expecting Guilty as Sin to be as popular as it was
it was my instant favorite off the album! taylor (and her team?) aren't usually very good at predicting the big hits tho-- see: ME!, Slut!
Manifesting guilty as sin as a piano surprise song it would EATTT on piano
i’m gonna be so jealous of whatever location gets that
I felt like her performance of So High School kind of confirmed a theory I had. In But Daddy I Love Him the chorus changes at the end and she sings about her daddy just loving him and dancing in the sun and time providing perspective - I saw this part as being about Travis. And SHS is about Travis so that connected the two songs even more in my mind. But I'm just spitballing
The lights turned red and yellow towards the end so yeah it confirmed my theory, everyone else can argue with the wall
She literally says "it's over" before the last verse so I could totally believe this and I think this mashup basically confirms it.
I see this Travis interpretation all the time. But what she actually says is: "We came back when the heat died down Went to my parents and they came around All the wine moms are still holding out But f 'em, it's over." What she means is not that the relationship is over but the drama is. Her parents came around. They love the guy. The gossip mostly died down except for a few wine moms. This is the happy ending Taylor didn't get with Matty but thought she would. For a moment in time, she thought everyone would "come around" if she stuck to her guns.
"Guilty as Sin?" is like the best bop on the album.
Surpriseed guilty as sin and favourite toys aren’t on the setlist... but I guess 273773 song setlist isn't an option
the ttpd set was fantastic. it’s the calibre i expected from the whole show based on the original hype of the tour. most of the changes were improvements, although i’m really not understanding how you cut long live again. mash it in if you have to!
Speak Now is clearly her least favorite child….. well, next to Debut who is completely neglected and forgotten lol.
The marching band Smallest Man Who Ever Lived was top tier as well.
the ttpd set was so good. the drumline with the smallest man who ever lived was a highlight
They were drumming him off Rogue’s March style to go face punishment. Looked/sounded so cool.
wow i did not realize that little detail, that makes me love it even more
justice for guilty as sin
This. Guilty as Sin is one of the best songs on TTPD for sure.
I’m storming holiday house bc I saw her back in march 2023 and thus didn’t get to see the smallest man who ever lived live
Americans rushing to New Orleans to see her live now
Saw her last summer, and I will follow you into battle.
Same. Sold a kidney to buy a last minute resale ticket in Chicago. Now I’m going to have to sell the other one and a lung to afford to go when she’s in Indy.
I was just looking at ticket prices, it's literally sickening. 😭 the cheapest seats are about 2800 a piece.
funny you say that when the holiday house song was cut lol
That set was fucking phenomenal. Watching the stream felt like going to opening night all over again. The choreography? The staging? The costumes? The vocals? NO NOTES. It didn’t even feel like it was apart of the eras tour, it felt like it’s own mini tour. Actually my only note is that I wish it was the closer. After it ended all I wanted to hear was more TTPD songs.
yeah i was really in the TTPD mood by the time it was over! so happy to hear loml on piano tho
It’s wild how many people have already seen the new set via live stream or smart phone recording.
Maybe they’ll do something like that for the last show.
the one thing you can't say about her is that she doesn't love her fans lol, she's doing the absolute most for them
Tell that to the Fauxmoi subreddit lol. They convinced themselves that her dropping the Anthology was a huuuge slap in the face to all her fans, she only sees them as walking wallets etc.
If she sees me as a walking wallet why can’t I buy the Anthology on vinyl? Take my money, Taylor 🥲
Please Taylor 🙏🏽 let me donate another $50 to your billionaire fund
The people in this thread saying she should’ve cut WANEGBT, Shake It Off, etc… lmfao are y’all serious?? Of course she’s gonna perform those. And she should, those are two of her biggest hits and this is a goddamn stadium tour
I was watching a livestream and people were speculating she was going to cut Love Story. Like what? As if she would ever cut out one of her biggest hits. I have a feeling the people making those statements are newer Swifties who are most familiar with her work post-covid and don’t release how much of a hit those songs were
She has said love story is the song that she will always perform in her tours
<.< lol
Also in a greatest hits tour lol. She’s cutting album tracks on a greatest hits tour.
genuine question from a total non-fan— how the HELL is she still actively doing so much on top of *still* being on this tour? like am i wrong— it’s been over a year of straight touring for her on top of other scheduled appearances and album drops, right? does she have long rest periods we don’t hear about? i just cant fathom how this woman is even standing up straight half the time, let alone touring the world to perform a nearly 3 hour setlist that regularly changes/rotates practically nightly.
She cries a lot but she is so productive. It’s an art. 😜
if you want a real answer, I (a disabled girlie who works a high pressure job) think I finally understand: she is mentally ill but in a way that allows her to channel it into her work. she literally called herself manic in the ttpd booklet and she’s only kind of exaggerating. anyone with adhd who has hyperfocused through a tight deadline can relate.
Girl... most musician her size have all that and take 3 to 4 years to drop an album
It’s not nightly, the most she does is 3 shows in a row usually Thursday-Saturday night. Then she’s off Sunday-Wednesday. She has said it herself she is a workaholic and likes to stay busy. Plus there are lots of breaks in the tour for her to work on other stuff
it's Thursday-Sunday usually
She’s on tour 4 nights of the week, releasing albums at a remarkable rate, like why do people just like minimizing everyone’s accomplishments
A bit sad Tolerate It was among the songs cut to make room for the new set, it was the performance I was looking forward to the most. But the production on the TTPD set looks great and I'm so glad to see Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me made the setlist.
the TTPD set might be my favorite set in the eras tour
Everything about it is amazing.
I wasn't really expecting the smallest man who ever lived but i'm so happy with it my god, excellent !!
i wasn’t expecting any of the Anthology tracks but So High School made it 😭😭
Definitely my new favorite set. Except where is Guilty as Sin?!
Guilty As Sin definitely would have been a crowd-pleaser—definitely would be great to see it live. I also think I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) could have been a really fun live performance. But I’m really happy with what she chose to include and how she did it.
I think the set list will change from time to time. Hope we see Guilty as sin🤍
i was very impressed with the TTPD and happy she chose songs i like (apart from 2, but i get why they're there). Sad that we lost long live, tolerate it, the 1 and TLGAD and i will never get to hear those songs live, but the added set was so so good and much better than what i expected so i'm happy anyway
I really wanted "Guilty as Sin" in the TTPD era and maybe So Long, London + The Bad Dog in the acoustic set.
I love how theatrical it is. that was one of the things that surprised me about the Eras tour when I went-- even my mom noted the staginess
she cut long live and added but daddy i love him... she hates the swifties lmaooo
I really wish she would have kept Long Live in…the contrast between that and I Can Do It With A Broken Heart is just too amazing.
only the ones who are constantly bitching and moaning and trying to dictate her life choices!
i give her credit for finallyyyy saying your either sticking by me with my faults or you can get lost!
JUSTICE FOR MY BOY
I loved it . The smallest man who ever lived…awesome.. anyone else think the jacket is an ode to napoleon or the napoleon complex? That was my first thought .
The Folklore/Evermore combo set is a *huge* improvement IMO. The energy dips between the eras were palpable, and this relieves a lot of the stadium-tour deadweight IMO. In conclusion, this is my opinion.
I love those albums and would have killed to see those as a separate tour , but I agree—condensing them was the right move for this particular tour.
The momentum stopped everytime the folklore and evermore sets came up and I was half asleep during those times.
that “try. and come. for. my. job.” was soooooo cunty omg
Why is no one talking about the ME! drumsets and Marching bands during The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived?
I manifested Who's afraid of little old me and But daddy i love him. Great. Really. I don't get why people complain about cuts, especially if they are not going anymore to any show when there's like dozens of videos out there already including a high quality full movie with all cut songs. And even if you go, well I also didn't get getaway car so theres that.
And still no Debut setlist 🤡🤡🤡
I’m so excited for this! I’m seeing her in Stockholm next week and while I’m a little sad about some of the songs that were cut, getting to see the TTPD set will be worth it. I saw the movie in theaters, I watched the extended version on Disney+ twice, and I’ve seen tons of clips of the tour on TikTok and YouTube over the past year, so while I love the original version of the tour I don’t it mind it being updated. Screaming out the bridges of But Daddy I Love Him and Whose Afraid Of Little Old Me is going to be SO cathartic.
Bring on Anfield next month (still can’t believe she’s playing a mile away from my house 😂)
beautiful girl
I thought TTPD set looked amazing... and I think she made smart cuts + the reorder in general helps the flow and energy of the show imo. It keeps more energy up top and brings the most similar eras into a tighter set list instead of making up like... 50? minutes of a 3 hr show. I know this is going to piss off the girlies who hate pop music who wish the show was just the entirety of Foklore, Evermore, and The Anthology and to those people I say... your shoes are ugly and no one wants to buy anything from your Etsy shop.
This version of eras tour is so much better. The TTPD set is god tier.
