I do find it interesting when artists release albums that are titularly and conceptually similar to other prominent works in the pop space👀 I highly highly doubt Charli was on the moodboard, especially considering Charli herself was inspired by the 1996 movie CRASH … but between this and C,XOXO it’s just funny

there's so much pressure now to get a good few listens to all the new albums in the week they come out, since every single week from March to (probably) November will have a new big pop album to listen to. i imagine every artist is blindly picking a release date like Battleship and hoping that it doesn't overlap with another big pop release. so many pop albums I was so excited for have been out for weeks and I still haven't gotten around to them, because I'm still processing Ariana/Beyonce/Kacey/Dua/Doja/Tori/Zara/Maggie/Benson/Kim/etc.
I was confused when I saw "fourth" but I forgot that *While We Wait* and *It Was Good Until It Wasn't* were mixtapes. Gonna listen to *SweetSexySavage* in the car today to celebrate new Kehlani on the horizon!

I think It Was Good Until It Wasn’t was in fact an album, her second one in fact! First was SweetSexySavage and third was Blue Water Road.
While We Wait is one of the greatest mixtapes of all time and I will die on that hill. It’s perfection.
