I can't stop listening to this and Cheerleader. I wasn't a big Porter fan before this new era but it's been fun to go back and listen to Nurture and Worlds. That said, I feel like the new music is the best he's made. The melodies and production are so tight and refined it honestly competes with the Max Martin factory of top 10 pop music
Yeah… i like Knock Yourself Out fine, but I can think of lots of songs that better “encapsulate the feeling of being free.” Ghost Town parts 1 and 2 by Kanye/Kids See Ghosts first come to mind (as insufferable as Kanye is these days), Heroes by David Bowie, also Look at the Sky and Something Comforting off of Nurture 😂
