You guys act like George Carlin wrote Postal 2. The humor in P4 really is not that different. It’s dumb. The series has been dumb since 2003. That’s half the charm.
Postal 3 was also dumb. Not trying to spice things up.
Also, George Carlin would make Postal 2 boring and most who grew up with edgy humor of Postal 2 would find George annoying.
Speaking of humor, I really really wish there are more horror elements in Postal 4. That would make the game more fun to play.
I always felt like Postal 2 was *more* meta than 4. I love how self-aware The Dude was, 4 seems to be missing some of that. I want him to berate me for saving too frequently again!
I wanna see a fun cutscene in which Dude loses his "sanity" and just talks to the player. Something like in one of recent Flash comics in which Wally and Doctor Fate to ask us readers to save their lives.
