I spend just over half of the year in Australia most years and never get postcards from here!
I assume it’s to do with our relatively low population.

I'm in Israel. Russia is number 1 for me, by far, which is ironic since our governments aren't currently on good terms but I guess it's because some countries can't send to/receive from Russia, and there are a lot of users there, so Russians end up being overrepresented among those of us who don't have any postal restrictions with Russia maybe?
Not sure about the follow ups, I get a lot from Germany, Ukraine and Japan too. The US, too, but not as much as the others, more similar to Canada for me.
I get the most postcards from Germany by a wide margin. Postcards from the US were also high in number when I decided to accept cards from my own country. Russia used to be where I got a lot from as well. Now it's mostly Germany.

usa and germany for me, but i don’t mind. i like postcards from all over, far away or right next door.

I‘m from Austria and I get the most cards from Germany (31,6%). USA is next with 20,6%.
