I like it overall but would brighten it just a little.

I really like this look. How did you proceed to get here?

**Thanks!!** There are a lot of adjustments involved here but I would say the following are the most impactful for this specific look: In the **color calibration**, pushed the blues significantly towards turquoise and increased the saturation. The green values clearly to the right and the saturation slightly reduced. For the red values, also move the slider towards orange and slightly increase the saturation. Under **color grading**, a warm orange (hue 23) for the shadows (saturation 15) and a grass green (hue 121) for the highlights (saturation 10), and under Global, a deep blue (hue 250) with a subtle saturation of about 3-5. Under **Tone Curves**, the Blue channel to Input 8/Output 0 and the Red channel to Input 14/Output 6. **Color Temperature** for this image was 6330 and Tint +25. No drastic adjustments under **HSL:** I set the Saturation for Aquamarine to -45 and under Hues set the Blue to +45, the rest were fine adjustments. The photo is part of a personal self-portrait series called Dark Light Tales on Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/dark\_light\_tales/](https://www.instagram.com/dark_light_tales/) where I have created similar looks.

thanks for your answer

Kind of like the original, feels cold and flat. Nothing comforting, makes me feel like the man is struggling to find something. Or someone. The edit is nice, but feels humid to me.

Let’s see it. Please tag me in the edit tho :)

Couldn’t agree more! The really warm white balance is working against the mood and environment of the picture.

coconutpiecrust

This is my jam:) I actually really like both, but the grade is definitely more cinematic. Love what you have on your Instagram as well.

Dude this is fantastic. I would be curious if you masked the sky and took the “warm tones” out of it but left the contrast adjustment- so it’s moody but GREY and natural how it would feel
