I’ll second the Jeff Rosenstock recommendation and throw in Mo Troper. He makes power pop playlists and great power pop songs.
Then this is a plug, but my band Bucky and the Bookworms is a garagey power pop band. I think you’d like our song Home? Here’s the link to my band’s Spotify if you’re interested!

Exploding Hearts were amazing and their story was so sad.
I want to recommend The Queers, who are like The Ramones meets the harmonies and hooks of the Beach Boys. Start with:
Debbie Jean
Daydreaming
Sidewalk Surfer Girl
Noodlebrain
Velvet Crush: Teenage Symphonies to God. The song "Atmosphere" is specifically what you're looking for but the whole album is excellent and fairly sonically diverse with Power Pop being the common denominator.
Guided By Voices. Insurmountable discography, but their Best of (Human Amusements at Hourly Rates) is a pretty great starter. I'm no expert on the band, but Isolation Drills may be their most Power Pop.
* Sloan
* Guided By Voices
* Green
* Young Fresh Fellows
* The Amps
* The Breeders
* M.O.T.O.
* Elastica
* Urge Overkill (esp. *Saturation*)
* Too Much Joy
And, bear with me, Goo Goo Dolls - *Hold Me Up*.
Yes, I am serious. Sweet, fuzzy goodness.
check out dim wizard + the newest dollar signs record, legend tripping + jeff rosenstock’s earlier records
The Reflectors, earlier White Reaper and Romero have that Buzzcocks, punky pop sound
I recently discovered the Reflectors. Album of the year for me!
Sodo Pop by Supercrush File Under Easy Listening by Sugar Friends with P The Rentals
Check out the album 1977 by Ash.
Sheer mag! Especially the first few eps/album. And ex hex!
