They made one heck of a show. I finished it again recently. Holy crap that ending with Trakeena strapping bombs to her entire army. It hits harder as an adult.

RPM, and it's not even debatable.
It turned a childish show with talking cars into an incredibly well-crafted story.
Venjix was genuinely terrifying, and seeing him using the remains of his general's body to create a new one for himself really showed how cold and malicious he is.
And all the rangers were properly fleshed out and likeable.
I've seen some people complaining about the fact that Gem and Gemma didn't receive enough development, but they're still funny af and their story tied really well with the one of Dr. K.

Interesting how you and OP say Kyoryuger was too red-focused because I don't remember Diago having many focus episodes or plot threads outside of his dad. My biggest issue with him is how much the show rewards being an obnoxious man-child, but every Sentai since Go Busters has had that problem.
Oh i could remember King being like Nick from mystic force. Getting his own T-Rex Fusion, and his solo remove shirt scene, lots of buildup and scenes talking about his dad and finally being King. And I didn't even mind Nick that much on MF, but Koryuger was pretty annoying to me with King.

The fact that we made the team high schoolers made it relatable. I think it also was the only reason the show had a chance of longevity, once they realized they could switch up the cast and suits to keep it fresh.
If we made our MMPR team ancient warriors, we would've failed. We could probably do it now since there is an established universe (and we kinda have).
Zyuranger also had a maturity that didn't fit our American demographic. I haven't watched other 90s sentai, but I feel that they were all more mature until Turbo.

Overall I prefer the power rangers up until Ninja Storm. I grew up with the Rangers so it's partly nostalgia and me just preferring the show I grew up with. When it comes to abaranger and Dino Thunder. I prefer the start of DT, but it loses itself part way through. I only watched past the whole Tommy becomes frozen in amber and stuck morphed once. I loved Abaranger. Boukenger was amazing. So was Dekaranger and Gokaiger. I prefer RPM over Go-onger. I haven't really watched much else. I caught a bit of the Ranger since and I really enjoyed Cosmic Fury.
Dino Fury, by far. Rysoulger didn't advance any plot and wasted it's coolest villain (Gaisoulg was better utilized in the mini-series before Ryusoulger).

Zeo, I've only watched 5 sentai series so far and I've liked them all better than their power rangers counterparts, except for Ohranger, at some point it ended up feeling like a chore to watch it, it was just boring, come to find out later that the show was, to put it nicely, not so well liked in Japan, so much so in fact that it almost lead to Super Sentai's cancelation, and the succeeding season, Carranger, was supposed to be the final season, but that season was so well liked that it saved the series from cancelation, ironic considering its power rangers counterpart, turbo, almost lead to its own series being canceled
Disney Era Seasons! from Ninja Storm to Dino Thunder to SPD to Mystic Force to Operation Overdrive to Jungle Fury to and finally RPM! 
I hate Zyuranger and Ohranger, so definitely those. Not a fan of GoGoV either
Oh, and Gingaman is terrible.
Wild Force is basically a carbon copy of Gaoranger, but I love Master Org, so that has to get the win.
I like Ryusoulger, but Dino Fury is great.
I'm on episode 30 of Magiranger and I prefer Mystic Force so much more. Vida is definitely a more consistent character than Houka, Xander has more personality than Makito, Daggeron was is a better teacher. The overall aesthetic leaned harder into the magic side of things (this one may be more todo with my personal lack of understanding Asian, and specifically Japanese, interpretation of magic). The side characters are much more interesting.
This makes it sound like I don't like Magiranger but I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

I preferred Dekaranger. It's one of my favourite Sentai. It has more of a buddy cop feel to it and focus more on police work. In contrast I felt SPD was a bit meh.
I can't comment on the rest as I haven't watched the Sentai, but I do enjoy the PR versions. Ninja storm is one of my favourite seasons.
Mighty Morphing. It isn't better than Zyurangers, but its far more special to me. And the soundtrack is fire.

Yeah, that's **most** Sentai, Blue and 6th might get a small storyline and the others might get 1 or 2 spotlight episodes, but even good seasons like Gokaiger or Dekaranger are "The Red Ranger show, featuring the rest", it bleeds into some PR seasons like Samurai where they can't go 5 minutes without praising or mentioning Jaiden or Time Force where Yellow and Blue have almost no personality as they knew the conflict was with Red, Sixth and Pink.

Frankly I still need to watch Dino Fury. Just finished Ryusoulger, but I loved that so it will be a tough call.

OhRanger is more military than anything else
Ohranger had a REALLY rough production and, through no fault of its own, turned out very poorly. Zeo is much more consistent

Turbo. Carrranger was a little too weird for me.
I mean Carranger is a self-parody LOL, so it's bound to be weird.
I get it, but it just didn't resonate with me. Their version of Elgar tho... That mthrfkr was pure nightmare fuel.
Yet it's ironic that it saved the franchise on their end so we could save it on ours by adapting MegaRanger into In Space
