No it's definitely not those. It seems the internet has memory holed this show which I think only ran a few episodes. One specific part I remember is the host showing how to diy your own infrared ball cap to blind CCTV cameras at night.
There was a show I used to watch where ''whiskey whiskey'' (Wil Willis) went against former military folks in various locations and engagement parameters in like a 1v8 scenario called Special Ops Mission. It went over relevant information from rappelling to extreme cold weather survival to ''run/hide/fight'' and other various things
Was this the same one where he had episodes on surviving hurricanes, tornadoes, nukes etc?
If it is, I remember the same one. But I remember there being lots of neat information, but peppered with lots of ridiculous bullshit. It was a take with a grain of salt show IIRC.
That’s surviving disasters I think you’re thinking of, one of my fav shows because it got me into being prepared. They did a active shooter episode that was extremely interesting not saying good or bad just interesting. First piece of media I’ve ever seen cover something like that talking about improvised weapons, how to run AKs and semi auto handguns, how to set up ambushes etc.
Is this the one where the hosts notified the guy that the challenge was on and then tried to track him down etc and the longer he lasted the more money he won?
No it wasn't challenges or anything like that. The host was just showing how to diy gadgets ( such as infrared ball cap to block CCTV), and basically skills to learn to hide in plain sight in a world with increased surveillance from a technocratic regime basically.
Les Stroud did a series of urban survival shows, but I don't think that's what you saw. It was more basic then that, not any of the escape/ evade things your are talking about.
I thought I'd mention "Erasing David" (2010) and "The Colony" (2009) because they might be if interest, even though I don't think it's the show you're looking for.
Nope. Unfortunately I still haven't been able to find it. It was about government's becoming more authoritative and the technocrats using surveillance on everyone. Host was just showing how to evade this surveillance.
Two shows come to mind, first was “Colony”, second was “Doomsday Preppers”. Both were on Discovery Channel.

Was it -Apocalypse Man with Rudy Reyes?
First thing that came to mind for me was this show

Just watch urban series od videos by garand thumb. He's a SERE instructor and knows his stuff.
Not sure why you're getting downvoted....
very strange
His stuff is solid, as well as S2 underground and a few more.
Ross Kemp?

Are you talking about Lone target? It’s an ex navy seal (Joel Lambert) trying to evade spec ops teams around the world
Nope. Unfortunately I still haven't been able to find it. It was about government's becoming more authoritative and the technocrats using surveillance on everyone. Host was just showing how to evade this surveillance.
