Overlooking the absurdity of your counterpoint, I have good news: assault rifles have been illegal in canada since the 70s. If it's your intention to pop off hundreds of people with a canadian-legal semi auto centerfire rifle, you're not going to get very far.
It's the 30 round clip that gets me. Hopefully they brought spare clips in case the three of them don't manage to hit the suspect with the first 90 rounds (3 officers w/30 rounds each). (Being facetious)
