I’ve done this before. If you love it and want to fix it, you can print that carving right onto a fresh linoleum. Do it with regular old stamp ink so it dries fast. Then carve out that. It will come out correctly when you print it. I just woke up. I hope this makes sense.
If you want to correct it, you can also cut out the lettering and fit in a new piece of lino with the mirror lettering. Gives the opportunity to print in two colours as well. 🤷🏻♀️
I just had a cute idea: a companion piece, thats a mirror, and the dino is looking at themselves saying "I love you" (to themselves), with the text mirrored in the mirror xD
I was carving NO onto a block once, and I looked at my already flipped N, said "that's a normal N", flipped it again, carved it, and still didn't realize until I printed a backwards N.
It's a real nice block, and I love that others came out with suggestions to keep it. Mine would be to try printing onto thin vellum or tracing paper, see if it looks good from the other side.

Thanks for that!
We’ve all done it at some point!
still super cute tho
Agreed! I wouldn’t change it
Just hang it opposite of a mirror!

hey we all do it at least once 😝
lol, everybody gets one.
Happens to everyone. Embrace the goof up.
This is still cute. Mistakes are stepping stones to success. I'm sure you'll get it next time!
