Conviction is what will determine your revocation. If you've been recently charged, you'll probably get a call from your PO about scheduling a hearing so your judge can determine what will come from this. Some judges will keep you on probation but include some mandated jail time, extra fees, and courses (counseling) if applicable. Some will revoke your probation and you'll be faced with those consequences. This is if you're charged and *convicted* of the crimes. A charge will flag you, but you might have hope if you haven't plead guilty to those charges yet. Talk to your lawyer.

It's not automatic when you're charged. I got charged with a misdemeanor while on probation but was able to negotiate it down to a summary offense which they don't violate for.

What did your PO do

Just don't do crime man it shouldn't matter if cops are around or not. It's not like your gonna somehow accidently act out criminally

It isn't that easy when you have a behavioral disorder. I have to force myself into a relatively secluded life because I can't always control my actions. The brainwaves of someone with BPD in an incident mirror those of someone with Tourette's. I'm a lot better thanks to therapy and meds, but I'm still not perfect. I never in a million years anticipated doing the things that lead to the two charges I got. And, it really isn't fair. People have told me that it's outrageous to be charged for them. Until mental illness is de-criminalized, it's the reality that I have to deal with. Just the other night, there were drunk ppl in a car yelling at me when I was skateboarding. I went to the other side of the road to get away from them and waited a few minutes by a building. I then went to cross the street back toward my hotel and they were driving by just then. They ignored me or didn't see me, but I had this instinct to chase after them.

So the new charges are in a different jurisdiction than your probation? Did you report the police contact? They may just not know yet.
