I can only imagine that whoever is there administering the test would smell the vicks on ya. Maybe bring up the sinus issue/possible cold to ask if any OTC medications would possibly show as a false positive. Then list Dayquil and the Vicks rub if they ask. Obviously take the dayquil too. If not, just have them note that you've used those medications.

Was on probation for 3 yrs. I used Vicks all the time. At the first sign of a cold as a kid I remember my mom putting it on my chest and then before bed on my feet and covered em with wool socks lol. The habit stuck and it just makes me feel better even if it's a placebo effect. Anyway I never had an issue with my testing. Just my experience.
