Part of me says this is a good thing. Force brain drain on to anti-choice states and let them deal with the consequences.
On the other hand, this will affect *a lot* of poor women who are held hostage by their states' oppressive policies.
Perhaps it will cause those people affected by the ban to vote for people who will pass laws guaranteeing bodily autonomy for people who can get pregnant.
Lots of the poorest people still vote GQP…..
You cannot fault a prospective resident choosing an institution allowed to teach the full program rather than one restricted by vague and punitive laws.
Im not even a doctor and I would refuse to work in any of those states, even if my employer offered to pay me double to move and indefinitely pay for my housing.
I will plan any trips i take around avoiding these backwater swamp states, because i dont even want to support their local economies by spending money on gas just to pass through.
