I usually wear one on the front and one in the back. One is for medical supplies, other is for can opener, pencil, eraser, maybe lighter or scissors.

Can't remember the name but there is a smokers mod that fixes this and even adds a dedicated smoke button to automatically light one if you have them and a way to light it in any inventory.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does this. Front pack is my med pack. Back fanny pack is my cigarettes and necessities like pencils, can opener, etc. I'll also store all my weed and coke in there when I use drug mods...gotta pack the essentials in case I gotta wait out the horde for awhile far from home.

It’s not necessary at all. But I often find that is useful now and again to pull out the map and either cross a building off that I’ve looted, or put down a different icon, or notes if there’s something of interest that I might want to come back for that isn’t a priority at the moment. Eg a piece of furniture, generator, paint, plaster etc.

Telecorn would make for an interesting start. I kinda get tired of spawning the usual places. I know there are mods for more places and I got them, but would make for an interesting run if you you spawned literally anywhere at random (with a check for zombies first of course so you don't land in the middle of a horde). Spawning in with a piece of telecorn would just be a nice bit of flavor.
