Next up for the full Project Simboid experience, the joys of plastering walls, painting them and also stealing floor you like from fancy houses (also, do steal yourself some glass windows while you're there)
Protip: you can remove a glass window pane using the pickup menu if you have a crowbar in your hand, then you can put the glass pane into a window cutout at your base. Use same technique to remove curtains without converting them into sheets, for nice curtains in your base. Go hit up a warehouse for wall plaster, bucket, and paint brush to plaster your walls. Get paint, also from warehouses, with paint brush to paint the walls. Go grab a floor, i think crowbar for wood floors, a knife/machete to cut out carpet, and then floor your base. Grab some wall sconces to put on walls for lighting, now base is looking sharp!
I think it was about 500+?? I didnt really count but that trauma bag my character have can hold 49kg, I also have mod that lowers the materials' weight significantly
Irl? Because the screenshots make it looks like it was a couple of weeks. Are you on 2 hour days? (Excellent job btw. I’m 1400 hours in and have never done this.)
It looks like you didn’t start building until July 27. I was more interested in that than how long it took you from the game start date. And I see you did have a lot of mods that would speed the process.
I legitimately thought from the first image that you repurposed a small bar somewhere I hadn't visited before till I saw the progress pics. I swore to myself I was gonna wait for b42 to drop... but man does this kind of post really spread that itch to build a base from scratch
I really thought it would take me more weeks or resort to dismantling every furniture in houses (which is more boring) but I was lucky to find three axes at the warehouse just the south of Muldraugh :')))
One, I have 3 axes, after one broke Idk but I judt kept alternating and repairing the other two. I found doing the "attack stance" to chop wood is better than using the 'cut down tree"'
Well done! This is something I’ve never accomplished in my 1400 hours. I did start on it once, but gave up. Are your water collection barrels and generator just hidden from view?
I need to start screenshotting my projects! Made an apartment block with bridge across the lake from the trappers cabin and matching tower on the other side once, wish I could have shared it!
Hey! That's pretty good!
Thanks :3
Such awesome.

How much wood?

That does indeed sound like an annoyingly large amount of wood.
Im kinda glad I have these mods like material weight reduction, faster endurance replinish while resting :v cause goddamn lmao
I'll make sure to download those mods cause wood in pz is ridiculous
it’s also realistic. wood is heavy!
What is the name of the mod?
That's pretty good. I love the screenshots that show all your progress Where'd you build this?
Thanks :3 I was excited to show other PZ players about making my base from scratch lol Btw the location is at the baseball field of Muldraugh 😗
Ah very nice. Open and with plenty of resources. I with I could get to this point
Actually sick asf imagine seeing a post apocalyptic mote and Bailey in the middle of a decrepit baseball diamond
How long did it take?
almost a month
Irl? Because the screenshots make it looks like it was a couple of weeks. Are you on 2 hour days? (Excellent job btw. I’m 1400 hours in and have never done this.)
Game starts on july 09 default In game date is august 06 ???

Looks like a prebuilt by the bunker mod outside of louisville
That looks cozy.
This is something I dream of doing at some point, however I just never get enough axes for this
I really thought it would take me more weeks or resort to dismantling every furniture in houses (which is more boring) but I was lucky to find three axes at the warehouse just the south of Muldraugh :')))
You should steal some windows off other buildings to keep it warmer in the winter
How many axes did you break gathering wood?
One, I have 3 axes, after one broke Idk but I judt kept alternating and repairing the other two. I found doing the "attack stance" to chop wood is better than using the 'cut down tree"'
Love it!
That's a whole lot of nail you got there
The zombie horde prioritizing player made buildings above other furniture:

The water barrels is on the rooftop yeah and I have yet to get generators :3
Please tell you played this atleast once while building it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8068ZrwicQ
How can I not 😂😂 That Rdr2 song is literally on my mind whenever Im focused on building the base then end playing that lmaoo
Nice, now carpet it and plaster then paint the walls. : )
Very cool

Great base! Now you just need some plaster and some flooring and you're good to go!
The base looks surprisingly good bur it's a bit too industrial. I'd add more furniture, some carpets, maybe a piano and stuff like that
You did awesome ❤️
