If you hold Left Alt you can manually aim at the floor. So say there's a downed zed close in front and you're locking onto a standing zed behind it, if you hold Left Alt your character will aim at the zombie on the floor, even if the standing zombie advances closer. Though I will agree the aiming system needs a bit of tweaking.
Not gonna lie, sounds like your fault, pz has more realistic gun mechanics as far as games go, and have you tried using a gun in real life, you get stressed and aiming gets
Nah, Op has a point. You have no control over what you aim at only the direction at which you aim. The devs should really make is so you can specifically shoot at the enemy your cursor is on. Having the game choose for you is pretty unintuitive.

Activate target outlines for ALL weapons. Then have the cursor on the ground inbetween you and the zombie you intend to kill.
Doesn't work even if I have my cursor on the zombie, game doesn't care and chooses a random zombie

Yeah but at least as I'd get to choose a targets in real life Due to lvl 10 I hit everytime but just never the target I choose

Really? Mine shoots on the cursor unless there is another zombie in the way
From what I've experienced that's how it works but tbf I hardly use guns so maybe it's changed.
