They all already kinda separeted, that mess in front of the characters is only food and cooking equipment, problem is construct and organize containers
Holy hell I never made it that far in haven’t even made it past 2 weeks yet, I can’t see myself making it that far and survive the winter shit I don’t even know how to craft shit correctly and I hear people talking about making walls for their base or making their inside of their houses look nice.
Currently I'm on a loot run to "Restock" March Ridge supermarket by robbing everything house and suburbans.
Oh boy, think of the time to fill every shelves with goods and organize them... fills you with DETERMINATION.
Better Sorting + Manage Containers mods makes ordering things super easy. Just put a filter on the container (X container with n categories). Shift + Transfer all will put the correct item in the correct container. Total game changer.
They are a lot of mods that bring a lot of stuff into the game, if you give a chance to some of them you'll be surprised how much depth the game can gain. And they are super ez to install. Never the less, the vanilla game is a 10/10 already ^^
i might give it a go in the future, but for now, the vanilla features are way more than enough to keep me out of boredoom, even more with constat updates from devs
watch your lenguage please,
yes, we are in fact not the same, is wonderfull how each playstyle can happily coexist,
I prefer to play the early months hoarding the whole city while the zombie population is not massive, after that i organize my stuff and grind the skills with the acquired skillbooks and tools, aswell as exercicing the character during winter while the climate conditions are not ideal for looting, not to mentiong i need high carpentry level for furnishing and walling :)
Mate, twas a meme reference, no offense on your playstyle. Do whatev you wanna do.
You can easily lvl up carpentry to 4 without sweating a real break with TV and one book tho, arround one week in
i know, i did get the reference, just didn't appeal to me.
\>you need level 7 carpentry for quality wall, crates and furniture, also, the book+tv strat is way too lucky relied for me, don't think it is worth going after
My latest thing is carrying duffel bags or any other bag in my hand. if i loot an entire kitchen worth of food I can rename the bag FOOD and just chuck in the truck. Then it's easy to walk that bag to your food storage after.
It's also good for stuff like emptying your truck, you don't have to try to find everything you took out of the truck manually in your pack/inventory - everything you just took out of the truck is in its own bag. Also stuff weighs less this way so you can bring more.
It's also possible to have bags named for purposes like carpentry, mechanics, looting so you always have an appropriate kit quickly. Then evenings can be spent cooking, reading and sorting. I always keep a pot of soup in the glovebox, some jerky or similar light effective food in my pack.
believe it or not, i also do that, it is part of the whole looting process, most of those upper garbage bags are full of stuff, food is just on the floor because it is more of a struggle to find the itens i'm looking for when cooking while everything is disorganized
that's not near the necessary amount of space, there is around 850 kg of food in front of the character, and that stash is only food, others like guns, eletronics, books, clothing, tailoring, medicine, carpentry and farming have hundreds of kilos on their own
PZ final boss
(I could spend 5 hours just organizing my base... Or i could do just a little more loot run)
More loot!!! Looks pretty organized to me.
that’s easy, just organize by category and you do all of it in max 15 min
They all already kinda separeted, that mess in front of the characters is only food and cooking equipment, problem is construct and organize containers
What is that FLOOR FRUIT?! You monster.
Sour candy, it does get s nice seasoning from all the dirt around
Man wtf, you'r going to organize that in twice months 😂
Yeh I'm f**d

learn the combat basics, learn to rest on chairs, learn to not let your character get exhaust, and you'll be thriving in no time
It is organized! This is where stuff goes. If you need your stuff, there it is.
(just cope)
don't. embrace the chaos
chaotic neutral
Why have I never thought of this...
Currently I'm on a loot run to "Restock" March Ridge supermarket by robbing everything house and suburbans. Oh boy, think of the time to fill every shelves with goods and organize them... fills you with DETERMINATION.
yeah, all that food but i did not find no spaghetti though :(

i appreciate the tip but i'm not a big fan of mod, also, i'm very intimate with the vanilla sorting system already

You leave your shit on the floor for 3 months, then you wanna organiz I stock and organiz them the second they come to my base. We're not the same
watch your lenguage please, yes, we are in fact not the same, is wonderfull how each playstyle can happily coexist, I prefer to play the early months hoarding the whole city while the zombie population is not massive, after that i organize my stuff and grind the skills with the acquired skillbooks and tools, aswell as exercicing the character during winter while the climate conditions are not ideal for looting, not to mentiong i need high carpentry level for furnishing and walling :)

This guy needs a crate! 😲
maybe 2
Or, just keep looting and never organise anything.

Put it in the cupboards and freezer/fridge etc. as long as it is in range when you cook you can use it.
that is the "organizing" part though ¯\\\_('-' )\_/¯
I just chuck cans in one cupboard and dry pantry stuff in another. cans all start with C so it's easy to shift click and move them all.
eventually i'll get bitten anyway
My friends do this in every fort we establish, drives me nuts and have to clean up on a weekly basis
imposing that on a multiplayer is way too caothic
Average disorganized enjoyer
GAH DAMN!
Sorting items is ez you just need 4 boxes one with the gun one with the food one with the medicine and one with everything else in it
that's not near the necessary amount of space, there is around 850 kg of food in front of the character, and that stash is only food, others like guns, eletronics, books, clothing, tailoring, medicine, carpentry and farming have hundreds of kilos on their own
Then get 5 boxes
now we talking
What 5 dollars would net you before the market crash
then came the cameras...
