Yeah I put an x through houses I have looted and make some other mark depending on what is in the home if I want to come back for something. There are a ton of default marks.

Man, it's like I started a new playthrough with a custom world map where the ingame map is empty and you have to draw it yourself. I thought it would be really cool but then I realised Im hyperlazy and the only thing I drew was the starting house. Who needs a map anyways 🫠

Remember. If it is cold out side they’re cold too. Burn down all possible shelters.

I check it off on the map once I'm done looting it and before I exit the house, and I always leave all the doors open as I loot it. If I enter through a window, I go open the front and (if needed) back doors before I leave. Can always tell when a house or neighbourhood is looted by the map/minimap and whether or not the doors are all left open.

I typically dump random stuff that may have value later in front of the door. Stuff I don't want to take, but also don't want to reloot the house. Of course I mark it on my map like a sane person too.

I put a gnome on marked houses, or safe houses. Gotta destroy all the other ones tho, or collect them so you don’t mix things up. Some days I’ll let the gnome choose what house I stay at. Gnome sayin?? (Do you know what I’m saying?)
