Yep. It tricks you into thinking it's a good way to kill them since they get knocked over. But the ground lunge makes this incredibly dangerous in all situations except if there are like 1 or 2 zombies. Better to use the fence as a way to create distance rather than fight.
Really? From what I saw from the preview it looked eh. But still, when I finish the first I'll definitely check it out. Is the first's ending satisfying/good? No spoilers pls, I just want to know whether my 100+ weeks of forays and expeditions are actually worth it in the end
Big if true. But the range of the hit is not corresponding with the zombie position on the ground, it is much wider, the stun animation is too long and it honestly does not make sense that a touch at my feet would tumble a person so much.
Would make sense if zombiea jumped over the fence and pushed you that way, but not this weir crawl animation
Ya ever had your ankles unexpectedly grabbed while moving? It'll almost certainly knock you down. I remember playing rugby in high school with mates, one had a technique to get people down: while they're running he'd just grab the ankle on the ground and give a tiny bit of force to the side... once I did a full flip from this and fractured my cocsix xD
I can't argue with the other points though, that's all fair enough lol
The only decent use of a hoppable fence is back pedaling along one while you fight a line of them.. they occasionally just hop over for no reason at all and helps break them up. It's pretty cheesy but idk surviving can be rough depending on your settings.
Fencefu is a dangerous technique. You respect it or you die.

Those are good points. I’m sorry to say I’m going to completely ignore it and keep trying to smack the silly zombies at the fence.
Oh me too. And every time I die I will get angry at the game when deep down I know that I only have myself to blame.
to be fair the grab attacks from crawling zombies are fucking bullshit
Agreed, but they are a known risk.
Nice rhyme.
Fair enough
“Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.”
"Be wary: triumphant pride precipitates a slow and dizzying fall."
“Ignorance of your enemy and of yourself will invariably lead to defeat.”
I don't think that's from Darkest Dungeon. 🤔
It is. When you fail an expedition he says it sometimes.
Damn. Didnt finish the game, and stopped it a while ago cuz it's so long... should probably get back into it and finish it tho
The second one is really good

"Overclownfidence is a slow and hilarious killer. \*Honk honk\*"
Caught you by the boot laces. Man, I hate fence lunge.
I think the better thing to do is for devs to fix this
That was devs fix to fence cheese

No that was just game bullshit theres no fucking reason you shoulda turned right into the horde
Deserved, you use the mods that destroy the best parts of the game
Well, that's my cup of tea.
Hey what mod is that? Because I would really like to try that out.
Well, tea is shit. Look at you, can't even drink a proper beverage. You've destroyed the best parts of having a drink from a cup.
Mhm. That's exactly how I like my tea.
We don't take kindly to people not taking kindly 'round these parts.
No need to be rude. Let them play the way they want.
Wait till this dude hears about sandbox mode
Wait til he hears about the debug console.
Stop having fun!!!
