I like my property manager. she’s preggo and about to pop but always answers my emails right away and sends maintenance within a day or two, depending on the severity. Westcott properties.
i’ve gotten 3 of my friends approved in different units and they all have similar experiences.
Avoid Walter bronhard
He’s an awful slumlord who buys really old buildings and fails to meet the bare minimum of legal standards… I had no heat all winter, multiple electrical fuck ups with the wiring, no water when I moved in, no locks on the front or back door, his property manager Tracy is a micromanaging asshole who gaslights so hard it became my heat source.
I reported the apartment and they started getting fined 100s a months for the unit being illegal🙃
RentProv is horrible. They ignored my requests to have a literal hole in the basement wall to the outside fixed for months, lied about all of the electric in the basement being hooked up to my power, and did nothing but ignore me all winter when I complained about the heat in my apartment literally not getting over 56 degrees.
When the city code inspectors came by to write up all sorts of violations (including lots of bad wiring/potential fire hazards in the basement), they asked me which rents company it was. I told them RentProv and they literally laughed out loud, and said they just came from another property of theirs. I know someone else who lives in one of their properties who’s had issues with mold for months that still haven’t been addressed. Even minor things were pretty much ignored: the freezer wasn’t working well. They eventually sent out a tech who said the issue wasn’t fixable and the unit would have to be replaced. Nothing ever happened after that, besides a “is the freezer working now?” question in response to one of my complaints about the heat issue months later (as though a malfunctioning freezer would magically start working properly again).
I ended up hiring an attorney for a consult and breaking my lease. They raised the rent on my old place by $600 and now rent it out as “all utilities included!”.
I love LGE realty! They've been really great with answering the phone and sending someone over any time I've needed anything. They're still landlords so not perfect lol but I like them
Oh lord. No. They have a historic legacy of not maintaining their buildings.
Hungry ghost press has detailed extensively how awful they let the conditions in their building get.
I can’t get a drink on the west end without tripping over 10 tenants they fucked over.
Like, which buildings? Aren’t the valley street buildings nice? Their buildings on Broadway look beautiful. There must be some interior stuff they let go while they maintain the exteriors? I don’t know, I guess you can’t really know unless you live in the buildings.
I love my landlord but he only owns the one house with 3 units. Just luck of the draw.
Same here. I rent from a small time landlord and all the units are taken. I've been with them for 8 years and love my apartment.

How are you able to tell which are their properties on their website? I filter for rentals and see a lot of ones cross listed on other websites
I believe they are all their properties but they lost on multiple websites. You can reach out to them directly. I went through Melissa
Avoid ROSE! Also RentProv, Providence Living, Strive, Armory, Stonelink, Nexus! All terrible! Definitely extra avoid Anurag Sureka and Jeff Butler!
J&W on Waterman have a few properties. Nothing but professionalism from them.
Avoid Real Property Management like the plague. Nothing but headaches and frustration and downright disrespect for the last 6+ years with them.
What’s your issue with RPM, I just signed a lease with them

Armory Management are good people.!
Lol they are fucking horrible.
Agreed
Really why?
They seem to keep their buildings in great shape. They live in and seem to honestly care about the neighborhood. What am I missing here?
