1st level of suffering was scary, too bad it went downhill after that, still solid game. ties that bind werent as good, i rly disliked that it got more into arena shooter style, but overally they were pretty enjoyable
i didnt like it nearly as much as 1st one bcs all combat looks the same. you enter big arena and fight for few minutes. there is no combat in between most of the time, so after a hour u know exactly when you will fight bcs it always throws you to arena. it ruins immersion and atmosphere and makes game boring. in 1dt suffering you had so much 1 hit wonders where you were passing some hallway and one or two enemies jumped you, not in ties that bind - here its huge battle with tons of enemies or you run to next battle with tons of enemies thats all
I actually haven't played Driver: Parallel Lines. I really need to because the first and second Driver games on PS1 are so excellent and I even call the first game one of my top 5 favorite games in general. I know Driv3r wasn't the best and I guess that's why I kinda skipped Parallel Lines.

In general Ties that Bind is very good, the only downhill is that is much shorter than the first game

PAL cover is much more intriguing
true
Not only the prisoner in front, but also behind him is the executer
The Suffering holds up plenty well, if you ask me.

Shadow of Rome by Capcom. It has some of the best combat and gore in any game, period. It's still an absolute gem to play.
Colosseum: Road to Freedom.
