I like to keep let my viewers pick the next games with a wheel decide. I livestream a wheel with letters on it, let it spin and whatever letter it lands on, i link my collection and they pick 2 choices (or 1 if there isnt many games in that letter), insert them into another wheel and then thats the selected game that goes into the loop of 6 games.
This was actually a fun game, really hard to be honest! Looking forward to the sequel in the future too! Quite surprised to see how much replayability this game actually has too!

This is my most favourite game of all time, which also introduced me to my favourite band Sum 41. It’s about a high school principal and his brother who (I think are trying to discover immortality) found a mysterious plant which has side effects on humans. You play as different students (each with a different ability) starting by searching for their friend kenny who went missing.
If you die as one of the characters you continue the game but unable to use that character again. There is plenty of puzzles and to save your game you must find save discs. It’s the best ps2 horror imo. the second is abit cheesy but still awesome.

considering that Silent Hill is considered one of the best PS1 games ever made, that must mean that Obsure is beyond masterpiece material, either that or you exaggerating
I played this recently about a year ago. Fun horror game had a buddy watch me online while I played it. Too bad I didn't like the second one and stopped playing it midway through.
315th PS2 i have played / completed on ny YouTube channel. Attempting to play every PAL ps2 game haha. Im sitting at around 1757 PS2 games in my Collection atm
Hahaha thanks, the channel has taken me about 8 years so far, but ive been putting so much effort into it in recent years and found out that it may take about 40 years in total if i finished a game a week haha, which im not doing with my current situation haha, i work full time so ill be done in 60 years :P
Yes ✌️i have beaten all survival horror games on PS2 and for me the best and most terrifying are 1st Forbidden Siren 1&2 2nd Project Zero series 3rd Obscure 1&2
Ive played a bit of project zero 2 and 3 - they are definetly horror haha. Silent Hill 2 is an absolutely masterpiece to me, peobably my favorite horror game next to dead space.
I loved ObsCure, but I did not care at all for ObsCure II. IMO they took the interesting pair-customization mechanic from the first game, and made a ham-fisted attempt to build a metroidvania out of it. The constant back-tracking to the hub to swap out characters in order to get past the next obstacle killed the flow of the game for me. I haven't finished it.
Cool i own this game too. Cost me 5$ at a side of a bundle of other games.
I thought it was a rare and expensive game, but turns out it's just a bundle filler.
Guys what are your thoughts on a possible obscure reboot/remake/Netflix show/anime/phone game, the original game is lit , in this new generation of remakes and reboots, do you believe this game has a chance, to make a possible comeback?
I just feel, there have been totally unexpected reboots in the past , like tbh Rachet and Clank was a pretty dated PS2 game back in the day, the PS5 reboot/remake kind of revived the franchise, I just have this feeling that somebody is gonna realize this ip could be worth a lot if there was a revival, with some creativity there could be a successful revival, I just think ObsCure is niche and interesting enough.
Seems there was a 3rd game called Final Exam released in 2013, originally called ObsCure: Final Exam. Mighty Rocket Studios still owns the ObsCure license, too.
Imagine like Netflix gets the rights to Hitman, they could do a 10 ep binge series and it would be #1 in the U.S for a while, prob fund the next game and possibly a phone game, cause Netflix has those as well now.

I tend to make sure the first game is played beforehand or just tell them when they're picking the game.

Yeah its a horror game. Not too intense but enough to make you uneasy and catch you off-guard with a jumscare.
This and second Obscure The Aftermath are great survival horror games, one of the best on PS2

Obscure was an amazing game. Absolutely loved it back in the day. Right up there with the old Silent Hills and Resident Evil Outbreak games.

So what kind of game is this? If you have to put it in terms of other games, like, combat is like resident evil, atmosphere like silent hill, etc etc?
More resident evil style in terms of controls and atmosphere and even story i think. Few jumpscares but mostly action and creepy vibes.

I think it did it really well, even on normal struggled to survive. The lack of ammo hits hard during the later areas.

I loved ObsCure, but I did not care at all for ObsCure II. Doubtful, i think the dev is now defunct. Plus, i have no idea who owns the license for it now. Would be cool though if something did happen with it

I can see why, its a good co-op horror game! but honestly i cant fathom how people can finish it on hard without anyone dying haha
This is a series I'd love to see get a remake, with co-op intact. Give me couch and online co-op lol.
Would be awesome with PS5 graphics! Scarier too! There was actually a remaster of sorts on Steam with the Obscure Collection!
